本文研究了冯·诺依曼代数的可测算子的基本性质,定义了阶梯算子,证明了任意一个正可测算子可以由阶梯算子在定义域内按照强算子拓扑逼近,从而证明了任意一个可测算子可以由投影在定义域内按照强算子拓扑逼近.此外,还讨论了可测算子与有界算子的复合算子的可测性.  相似文献

本文考虑的算子,包括极大算子、分数次积分、poisson 算子,都是把 R~n 上的函数映到 R_ ~(n 1)上的函数的。主要结果有二个方面:首先解决了一个 Muckenhoupt 型问题,即,给出了 R 上的权函数ω(x)的充要条件,使得这些算子是从 L~p(R~n,ω(x))到某个加权 L~q(R_ ~(n 1))空间的有界算子;其次,建立了这些算子的一个因子分解。  相似文献

As a consequence of Jensen's inequality, centered operators of probabilistic type (also called Bernstein-type operators) approximate convex functions from above. Starting from this fact, we consider several pairs of classical operators and determine, in each case, which one is better to approximate convex functions. In almost all the discussed examples, the conclusion follows from a simple argument concerning composition of operators. However, when comparing Szász-Mirakyan operators with Bernstein operators over the positive semi-axis, the result is derived from the convex ordering of the involved probability distributions. Analogous results for non-centered operators are also considered.  相似文献

A result of Godefroy and Shapiro states that the convolution operators on the space of entire functions on Cn, which are not multiples of identity, are hypercyclic. Analogues of this result have appeared for some spaces of holomorphic functions on a Banach space. In this work, we define the space holomorphic functions associated to a sequence of spaces of polynomials and determine conditions on this sequence that assure hypercyclicity of convolution operators. Some known results come out as particular cases of this setting. We also consider holomorphic functions associated to minimal ideals of polynomials and to polynomials of the Schatten-von Neumann class.  相似文献

A theorem due to Fitzpatrick provides a representation of arbitrary maximal monotone operators by convex functions. This paper explores representability of arbitrary (nonnecessarily maximal) monotone operators by convex functions. We investigate the functions for which certain classical families of operators of probabilistic type over noncompact intervals provide uniform approximation on the whole interval. The discussed examples include the Szász operators, the Szász-Durrmeyer operators, the gamma operators, the Baskakov operators, and the Meyer-König and Zeller operators. We show that some results of Totik remain valid for unbounded functions, at the same time that we give simple rates of convergence in terms of the usual modulus of continuity. We also show by a counterexample that the result for Meyer-König and Zeller operators does not extend to Cheney and Sharma operators.  相似文献

Using Rademacher type, maximal estimates are established for k-sublinear operators with values in the space of measurable functions. Maurey–Nikishin factorization implies that such operators factor through a weak-type Lebesgue space. This extends known results for sublinear operators and improves some results for bilinear operators. For example, any continuous bilinear operator from a product of type 2 spaces into the space of measurable functions factors through a Banach space. Also included are applications for multilinear translation invariant operators.  相似文献

In this paper we develop the method of double operator integrals to prove trace formulae for functions of contractions, dissipative operators, unitary operators and self-adjoint operators. To establish the absolute continuity of spectral shift, we use the Sz.-Nagy theorem on the absolute continuity of the spectral measure of the minimal unitary dilation of a completely nonunitary contraction. We also give a construction of an intermediate contraction for a pair of contractions with trace class difference.  相似文献

In this paper, we examine a class of averaging operators which exhibit local smoothing. That is, viewed as a function of space and time variables, the operators yield more smoothing than the fixed-time estimates. Sogge showed in a more general setting that if these operators satisfy a cinematic curvature condition, they will exhibit some local smoothing [C.D. Sogge, Propagation of singularities and maximal functions in the plane, Invent. Math. 104 (1991) 231-251]. Here we translate this condition into the setting of averaging operators in the plane. We prove that cinematic curvature is not necessary for local smoothing to occur, exhibiting a class of operators which fail the cinematic curvature condition but still satisfy a local smoothing estimate. Furthermore, the amount of local smoothing exhibited by these operators is strictly less than that conjectured for operators satisfying the cinematic curvature condition.  相似文献
