Injection compression molding (ICM) is an advantageous processing method for producing thin and large polymeric parts in a robust manner. In the current study, we employed the ICM process for an energy-related application, i.e., thin and large polymeric battery case. A mold for manufacturing the battery case was fabricated using injection molding. The filling behavior of molten polymer in the mold cavity was investigated experimentally. To provide an in-depth understanding of the ICM process, ICM and normal injection molding processes were compared numerically. It was found that the ICM had a relatively low filling pressure, which resulted in reduced shrinkage and warpage of the final products. Effect of the parting line gap on the ICM characteristics, such as filling pressure, clamping force, filling time, volumetric shrinkage, and warpage, was analyzed via numerical simulation. The smaller gap in the ICM parting line led to the better dimensional stability in the finished product. The ICM sample using a 0.1 mm gap showed a 76% reduction in the dimensional deflection compared with the normal injection molded part. 相似文献

In this paper,we propose an optical quantization scheme for all-optical analog-to-digital conversion that facilitates photonics integration.A segment of 10-m photonic crystal fiber with a high nonlinear coefficient of 62.8 W 1/km is utilized to realize large scale soliton self-frequency shift relevant to the power of the sampled optical signal.Furthermore,a 100-m dispersion-increasing fiber is used as the spectral compression module for further resolution enhancement.Simulation results show that 317-nm maximum wavelength shift is realized with 1550-nm initial wavelength and 6-bit quantization resolution is obtained with a subsequent spectral compression process. 相似文献

We study theoretically the spectral intensity evolutions of the femtosecond Gaussian and parabolic pulses with different initial pulse energies and compare the nonlinear compressions of these pulses based on a meter-long hollow-core fiber filled with neon for different initial pulse durations. The pulses are first coupled into gas-filled hollow-core fiber for spectrum broadening, then compressed by the optimal chirp compensation. The parabolic pulse possesses a shorter pulse duration, larger peak power, and cleaner wings than Gaussian pulse. Vector quantization (VQ) is an important data compression
method. The key of the encoding of VQ is to find the closest vector among
N vectors for a feature vector. Many classical linear search algorithms
take $O(N)$ steps of distance computing between two vectors. The quantum VQ iteration and corresponding quantum VQ encoding algorithm that takes
$O(\sqrt N )$ steps are presented in this paper. The unitary operation of
distance computing can be performed on a number of vectors simultaneously
because the quantum state exists in a superposition of states. The quantum VQ iteration comprises three oracles, by contrast many quantum algorithms have only one oracle, such as Shor's factorization algorithm and Grover's algorithm. Entanglement state is generated and used, by contrast the state in Grover's algorithm is not an entanglement state. The quantum VQ iteration is a rotation over subspace, by contrast the Grover iteration is a rotation over global space. In this paper,we report on the enhanced pulse compression due to the interaction between the positive third-order dispersion (TOD) and the nonlinear effect (cross-phase modulation effect) in birefringent fibres.Polarization soliton compression along the slow axis can be enhanced in a birefringent fibre with positive third-order dispersion,while the polarization soliton compression along the fast axis can be enhanced in the fibre with negative third-order dispersion.Moreover,there is an optimal third-order dispersion parameter for obtaining the optimal pulse compression.Redshifted initial chirp is helpful to the pulse compression,while blueshifted chirp is detrimental to the pulse compression.There is also an optimal chirp parameter to reach maximum pulse compression.The optimal pulse compression for TOD parameters under different N-order solitons is also found. 相似文献

Failure of rock mass that is subjected to compres-sive loads occurs from initiation, propagation, and linkage of new cracks from preexisting fissures. Our research inves-tigates the cracking behaviour and coalescence process in a brittle material with two non-parallel overlapping flaws using a high-speed camera. The coalescence tensile crack and tensile wing cracks were the first cracks to occur from the pre-existing flaws. The initiation stresses of the primary cracks at the two tips of each flaw were simultaneous and decreased with reduced flaw inclination angle. The following types of coalescence cracks were identified between the flaws: pri-mary tensile coalescence crack, tensile crack linkage, shear crack linkage, mixed tensile-shear crack, and indirect crack coalescence. Coalescence through tensile linkage occurred mostly at pre-peak stress. In contrast, coalescence through shear or mixed tensile-shear cracks occurred at higher stress. Overall, this study indicates that the geometry of preexisting flaws affect crack initiation and coalescence behaviour. 相似文献

高维数据挖掘由于特征空间占用开销较大,挖掘的复杂度较高,挖掘精度不高,为了提高对高维数据挖掘的准确性能,提出一种基于相空间重构和K-L变换特征压缩的高维数据挖掘数学建模方法。采用集成学习技术,对高维数据信息流进行相空间重构处理,考虑类间的数据不平衡性,求得高维数据的关联维特征参量,根据数据的链距离进行稀疏性融合,计算高维数据流模型的最大Lyapunove指数谱,根据谱分析方法实现数据聚类,对聚类后的数据采用K-L特征压缩方法进行降维处理,降低数据挖掘的内存及计算开销。仿真结果表明,采用该方法进行高维数据挖掘,数据挖掘的准确概率较高,占用内存消耗较少,计算开销较小。 相似文献
