Jacobi Elliptic Function Solutions of Some Nonlinear Evolution Equations

In this letter, the modified Jacob/elliptic function expansion method is extended to solve M-coupled KdV equation, M-coupled Ito equation, vKdV equation, and AKNS equation. Some new Jacob/elliptic function solutions are obtained by using Mathematica. When the modulus m→1, those periodic solutions degenerate as the corresponding soliton solutions.

单一多体不可逆聚集方程的解

本文研究的是单一多体不可逆聚集方程的解,从广义Smoluchovski方程出发,分别讨论凝结核为K(i₁,i₂,…,i_n)=const和凝结核为K(i₁,i₂,…,i_n)=sumfrom i=1 to n(i_l)的精确解,求出集团的体积分布C_m(t)。并且还讨论它们的长时行为。 关键词：

Comment on “Computer Algebra and Solutions to the Karamoto-Sivashinsky Equation” [Commun. Theor. Phys. （Beijing, China） 43 （2005） 39]

In a recent article [Commun. Theor. Phys. （Beijing, China） 43 （2005） 39], Xie et al. improved the extended tanh function method by introducing a generalized Riccati equation and its new solutions. Then they choose the Karamoto-Sivashinsky （KS） equation to illustrate their approach and obtain many exact solutions of the KS equation. So they claim that, by using their method, one not only can successfully recover the previously known formal solutions but also construct new and more general formal solutions for some nonlinear evolution equations. In this comment, we will show that the claim is incorrect.     

多前车速度差的车辆跟驰模型的稳定性与孤波

通过线性稳定性分析,得到了多前车速度差模型的稳定性条件, 并发现通过调节多前车信息,使交通流的稳定区域明显扩大. 通过约化摄动方法 研究了该模型的非线性动力学特性:在稳定流区域,得到了描述密度波的Burgers方程;在交 通流的不稳定区域内,在临界点附近获得了描述车头间距的修正的Korteweg-de Vries (modified Korteweg-de Vries, mKdV)方程; 在亚稳态区域内,在中性稳定曲线附近获得了描述车头间距 的KdV方程. Burgers的孤波解、mKdV方程的扭结-反扭结波解及KdV方程的 孤波解描述了交通流堵塞现象.     

不均匀等离子体中孤子的传播

假设两种离子的分界面是有限长度并连续变化的,研究了由这两种离子组成的等离子体中孤子的传播.在低阶近似条件下,等离子体声波将由KdV方程或非线性Schrdinger方程来描述,由此给出了准孤子振幅、传播速度等参量在传播过程中的变化. 关键词：

An exact solution of Fisher equation and its stability

In this paper, the Fisher equation is analysed. One of its travelling wave solution is obtained by comparing it with KdV--Burgers (KdVB) equation. Its amplitude, width and speed are investigated. The instability for the higher order disturbances to the solution of the Fisher equation is also studied.

New exact solitary wave solutions to generalized mKdV equation and generalized Zakharov--Kuzentsov equation

In this paper, based on hyperbolic tanh-function method and homogeneous balance method, and auxiliary equation method, some new exact solitary solutions to the generalized mKdV equation and generalized Zakharov--Kuzentsov equation are constructed by the method of auxiliary equation with function transformation with aid of symbolic computation system Mathematica. The method is of important significance in seeking new exact solutions to the evolution equation with arbitrary nonlinear term.     

Marchenko Equation for the Derivative Nonlinear SchrSdinger Equation

A simple derivation of the Marchenko equation is given for the derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equation. The kernel of the Marchenko equation is demanded to satisfy the conditions given by the compatibility equations. The soliton solutions to the Marchenko equation are verified. The derivation is not concerned with the revisions of Kaup and Newell.

The equivalence between B—W and K—G and R—S equations

The equivalence between the Bargmann--Wigner (B-W) equations and the Klein--Gordon (K-G) equations for integral spin, and the Rarita--Schwinger (R-S) equations for half integral spin is established by explicit derivation, starting from the lowest spin cases. It is demonstrated that all the constraints or subsidiary conditions imposed on the K-G or R-S equations are included in the B-W equations.
