构造了一种带两个形状参数的Bézier型曲线,并研究了该曲线的性质、形状参数对曲线的影响及曲线的拼接.所提出的曲线是多项式Bezier曲线的一种同次新扩展,不仅具有传统Bézier曲线的诸多性质,而且可通过修改两个形状参数的取值对其形状进行调节.由于所提出的曲线是一种带有形状参数且与传统Bézier曲线具有相似性质的同次多项式模型,因此比现有的一些带形状参数的Bézier型曲线更有优势.  相似文献

给出了一组含有两个形状参数α,β的四次多项式基函数,是四次Bernstein基函数的扩展,分析了这组基的性质;基于这组基定义了带两个形状参数的多项式曲线,所定义的曲线不仅保留了四次Bézier曲线一些实用的几何特征,而且具有形状的可调性,在控制多边形不变的情况下,改变参数α,β的取值,可以生成不同的逼近控制多边形的曲线;通过分析该曲线与四次Bézier曲线之间的关系,给出了α和β的几何意义,并利用Bézier曲线递归分割算法给出了这种曲线的几何作图法,同时还讨论了曲线间的拼接问题.  相似文献

For the cubic trigonometric polynomial curves with a shape parameter (TB curves, for short), the effects of the shape parameter on the TB curve are made clear, the shape features of the TB curve are analyzed. The necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for these curves having single or double inflection points, a loop or a cusp, or be locally or globally convex. The results are summarized in a shape diagram of TB curves, which is useful when using TB curves for curve and surface modeling. Furthermore the influences of shape parameter on the shape diagram and the ability for adjusting the shape of the curve are shown by graph examples, respectively.  相似文献

Summary  In some regression settings one would like to combine the flexibility of nonparametric smoothing with some prior knowledge about the regression curve. Such prior knowledge may come from a physical or economic theory, leading to shape constraints such as the underlying regression curve being positive, monotone, convex or concave. We propose a new method for calculating smoothing splines that fulfill these kinds of constraints. Our approach leads to a quadratic programming problem and the infinite number of constraints are replaced by a finite number of constraints that are chosen adaptively. We show that the resulting problem can be solved using the algorithm of Goldfarb and Idnani (1982, 1983) and illustrate our method on several real data sets.  相似文献

The gamma distribution arises frequently in Bayesian models, but there is not an easy-to-use conjugate prior for the shape parameter of a gamma. This inconvenience is usually dealt with by using either Metropolis–Hastings moves, rejection sampling methods, or numerical integration. However, in models with a large number of shape parameters, these existing methods are slower or more complicated than one would like, making them burdensome in practice. It turns out that the full conditional distribution of the gamma shape parameter is well approximated by a gamma distribution, even for small sample sizes, when the prior on the shape parameter is also a gamma distribution. This article introduces a quick and easy algorithm for finding a gamma distribution that approximates the full conditional distribution of the shape parameter. We empirically demonstrate the speed and accuracy of the approximation across a wide range of conditions. If exactness is required, the approximation can be used as a proposal distribution for Metropolis–Hastings. Supplementary material for this article is available online.  相似文献

Classes of shape mixtures of independent and dependent multivariate skew-normal distributions are considered and some of their main properties are studied. If interpreted from a Bayesian point of view, the results obtained in this paper bring tractability to the problem of inference for the shape parameter, that is, the posterior distribution can be written in analytic form. Robust inference for location and scale parameters is also obtained under particular conditions.  相似文献

We study the Stokes problems in a bounded planar domain Ω with a friction type boundary condition that switches between a slip and no-slip stage. Our main goal is to determine under which conditions concerning the smoothness of Ω solutions to the Stokes system with the slip boundary conditions depend continuously on variations of Ω. Having this result at our disposal, we easily prove the existence of a solution to optimal shape design problems for a large class of cost functionals. In order to release the impermeability condition, whose numerical treatment could be troublesome, we use a penalty approach. We introduce a family of shape optimization problems with the penalized state relations. Finally we establish convergence properties between solutions to the original and modified shape optimization problems when the penalty parameter tends to zero.  相似文献
