Gould-Hsu曾经发表了一类对于构造插值公式具有重要应用的互反关系,本文将建立其自然q-模拟。这时q-互反关系在下述意义下异于Carlitz的工作:当取q→1的极限时,本文提供的q-互反公式自动退化为著名的Gould-Hsu反演。当特殊指定两组自由参量时,本文的互反关系将产生一系列简洁的q-互反公式。作为应用,文中讨论了某些例证和卷积型恒等式。  相似文献

In this note, we establish two identities of \((q;\,q)_\infty ^8\) by using Jacobi’s four-square theorem and two of Ramanujan’s identities. As an important consequence, we present one Ramanujan-style proof of the congruence \(p_{-3}(11n+7)\equiv 0\ (\mathrm{mod\ }11)\), where \(p_{-3}(n)\) denotes the number of 3-color partitions of n.  相似文献

In his lost notebook, Ramanujan stated without proofs several beautifulidentities for the three classsical Eisenstein series (in Ramanujan's notation) P(q), Q(q), and R(q). The identities are given in terms of certain quotients of Dedekind eta-functions called Hauptmoduls. These identities were first proved by S. Raghavan and S.S. Rangachari, but their proofs used the theory of modular forms, with which Ramanujan was likely unfamiliar. In this paper we prove all these identities by using classical methods which would have been well known to Ramanujan. In fact, all our proofs use only results from Ramanujan's notebooks.  相似文献

Let η(q) denote the Dedekind’s η-function. Macdonald obtained identities for η(q) dim g where g is complex simple finite dimensional Lie algebra. The aim of this paper is to obtain generalization of the above identities in the case of g=A l andB l. In his lost notebook, Ramanujan recorded several modular equations of degree 5 related to the Rogers-Ramanujan continued fraction R(q). We prove several of these identities and give factorizations of some of them in this paper.The parameter k = R(q) R2(q2) introduced by Ramanujan in his second notebook has not been recognized for its usefulness. In this work, we demonstrate how beautifully the parameter k works, as we prove several identities involving k stated by Ramanujan in the lost notebook.  相似文献

We study the growth of the codimensions of a *-superalgebra over a field of characteristic zero. We classify the ideals of identities of finite dimensional algebras whose corresponding codimensions are of almost polynomial growth. It turns out that these are the ideals of identities of two algebras with distinct involutions and gradings. Along the way, we also classify the finite dimensional simple *-superalgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero.  相似文献
