本文研究广义非线性Korteweg-deVries方程的初值问题解的衰变估计.这个方程是一个非线性耗散色散波动方程.耗散项是Burgers型的.本文建立该初值问题解的L2与L∞范数最佳的衰变估计,其中初始函数u0(x)-∈L1∩L2.这些衰变结果是由解的L2积分估计和Fourier变换得到.标准研究方法依赖于把全空间分解成为两个依赖于时间变量的区域.  相似文献

In this paper, KdV-Burgers equation can be regarded as the normal equation of atmospheric turbulence in the stable boundary layer. On the basis of the travelling wave analytic solution of KdV-Burgers equation, the turbulent spectrum is obtained. We observe that the behavior of the spectra is consistent with actual turbulent spectra of stable atmospheric boundary layer.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the nonlinear stability of planar shock profiles to the Cauchy problem of the generalized KdV-Burgers equation in two dimensions. Our analysis is based on the energy method developed by Goodman [5] for the nonlinear stability of scalar viscous shock profiles to scalar viscous conservation laws and some new decay estimates on the planar shock profiles of the generalized KdV-Burgers equation.  相似文献

In this paper,we focus on studying approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation and their error estimates.We employ the theory of planar dynamical systems to study traveling wave solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation.We obtain some global phase portraits under different parameter conditions as well as the existence of bounded traveling wave solutions.Furthermore,we investigate the relations between the behavior of bounded traveling wave solutions and the dissipation coefficient r of the equation.We obtain two critical values of r,and find that a bounded traveling wave appears as a kink profile solitary wave if |r| is greater than or equal to some critical value,while it appears as a damped oscillatory wave if |r| is less than some critical value.By means of analysis and the undetermined coefficients method,we find that the compound KdV-Burgers equation only has three kinds of bell profile solitary wave solutions without dissipation.Based on the above discussions and according to the evolution relations of orbits in the global phase portraits,we obtain all approximate damped oscillatory solutions by using the undetermined coefficients method.Finally,using the homogenization principle,we establish the integral equations reflecting the relations between exact solutions and approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions.Moreover,we also give the error estimates for these approximate solutions.  相似文献

In this Letter, the exp-function method is used to obtain generalized solitary solutions and periodic solutions of the general types of combined KdV-Burgers equation with variable coefficients. It is shown that the exp-function method via symbolic computation provides a straightforward and powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations with variable coefficients in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the existence and asymptotic behavior of traveling wave solution for delayed Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers (KdV-Burgers) equation. Using geometric singular perturbation theory and Fredholm alternative, we establish the existence of traveling wave solution for this equation. Employing the standard asymptotic theory, we obtain asymptotic behavior of traveling wave solution of the equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we further develop the local discontinuous Galerkin method to solve three classes of nonlinear wave equations formulated by the general KdV-Burgers type equations, the general fifth-order KdV type equations and the fully nonlinear K(n, n, n) equations, and prove their stability for these general classes of nonlinear equations. The schemes we present extend the previous work of Yan and Shu [30, 31] and of Levy, Shu and Yan [24] on local discontinuous Galerkin method solving partial differential equations with higher spatial derivatives. Numerical examples for nonlinear problems are shown to illustrate the accuracy and capability of the methods. The numerical experiments include stationary solitons, soliton interactions and oscillatory solitary wave solutions.The numerical experiments also include the compacton solutions of a generalized fifthorder KdV equation in which the highest order derivative term is nonlinear and the fully nonlinear K (n, n, n) equations.  相似文献
