Briand et al.gave a counterexample showing that given g, Jensen‘s inequality for g-expectation usually does not hold in general. This paper proves that Jensen‘s inequality for g-expectation holds in general if and only if the generator g(t,z) is super-homogeneous in z. In particular, g is not necessarily convex in z.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the growth of the meromorphic solutions of the following nonlinear difference equationsf(z)n+ P_(n-1)(f) = 0,where n ≥ 2 and P_(n-1)(f) is a difference polynomial of degree at most n- 1 in f with small functions as coefficients. This paper establishes a limit theorem for solutions of backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs). By this limit theorem, this paper proves that, under the standard assumption g(t,y,0) = 0, the generator g of a BSDE can be uniquely determined by the corresponding g-expectationεg;this paper also proves that if a filtration consistent expectation S can be represented as a g-expectationεg, then the corresponding generator g must be unique.  相似文献

Let (Xt)t≥0 be a Lévy process taking values in R^d with absolutely continuous marginal distributions. Given a real measurable function f on R^d in Kato's class, we show that the empirical mean 1/t ∫ f(Xs)ds converges to a constant z in probability with an exponential rate if and only if f has a uniform mean z. This result improves a classical result of Kahane et al. and generalizes a similar result of L. Wu from the Brownian Motion to general Lévy processes.  相似文献

The properties of the extremal sets of extremal quasiconformal mappings are discussed. Jensen's operator inequality and Jensen's trace inequality forreal functions defined on an interval are established in whatmight be called their definitive versions. This is accomplishedby the introduction of genuine non-commutative convex combinationsof operators, as opposed to the contractions considered in earlierversions of the theory by the authors, and by Brown and Kosaki.As a consequence, one no longer needs to impose conditions onthe interval of definition. Theory Related Fields 123 (2002) 1-27], the author obtains the necessary and sufficient conditions under which Jensen's inequality for filtration consistent nonlinear expectation holds in general, respectively on scalar function and bivariate function.
