We develop a picosecond widely tunable laser in a deep-ultraviolet region from 175 nm to 210 nm,generated by two stages of frequency doubling of a 80-MHz mode-locked picosecond Ti:sapphire laser.A β-BaB2O4 walk-off compensation configuration and a KBe2BO3F2 prism-coupled device are adopted for the generation of second harmonic and fourth harmonics,respectively.The highest power is 3.72 mW at 193 nm,and the fluctuation at 2.85 mW in 130 min is less than ±2%. 相似文献

By using a diode-side-pumped Q-switched Nd:YAG rod laser based on a thermally-near-unstable fiat-fiat resonator, an intracavity-frequency-doubled green beam generation is investigated. Output power 140 W is obtained at a repetition rate of 10kHz and a pulse width of 110ns. The green beam quality factors Mx^2 and My^2, which are measured by a laser beam analyser, are 10.65 and 10.85, respectively, at output power of 124W. 相似文献

We report the dark blue nonlinearˇCerenkov radiation by the second harmonic generation(SHG)in a two-layer-stacked hexagonal periodically-poled-MgO:LiNbO3s(PPMgOLNs).Based on the direct wafer bonding of two target PPMgOLNs rotating around the axis perpendicular to the plane with an angle of 30°,twelve bright spots as twice of those in a single PPMgOLN are shown at each second-harmonicˇCerenkov ring.The experimental results agree with the theoretical ones and present a promising application in the fabrication of three-dimensional(3D)PPMgOLNs. 相似文献

A novel high-energy picosecond optical parametric oscillator (OPO) was realized by placing an OPO in a second-harmonic (SH) cavity. In a proof-of-principle experiment, we demonstrated excellent burst energy of 45 μJ for the OPO signal at 900 nm that operates at a pulse repetition rate of 10 kHz and a pulse width of 46.8 ps. The beam quality was measured as $M^{2}_{x} = 1.44$ and $M^{2}_{y} = 1.40$ in the orthogonal directions, corresponding to an average beam factor $M^{2} = 1.42$. So far, this study is the first to investigate high-energy ps OPO synchronously pumped in a second-harmonic cavity. 相似文献

We demonstrate a new management of multi-stage optical parametric generator(OPG)and amplifier(OPA)to obtain high-energy picosecond sources with high beam quality.The setup of multi-stage OPG-OPA requires mode-matching between the pump beam and the stable mode of the OPG-OPA.In a proof-of-principle experiment,the single-pass multi-stage OPG-OPA consists of three walk-off compensated KTP crystal pairs and two lenses,pumped by an 86 ps,1064 nm 10 kHz picosecond laser.The signal light at~1.77μm has an average output power of 502 mW with record energy up to 50.2μJ.The beam quality factor of the signal light can be improved toM2x ×M2yafter filtering out about 40%signal power.To the best of our knowledge,it is the first picosecond single-pass multi-stage OPG-OPA pumped at kHz regime. 相似文献

光学元件中的杂质和缺陷会引起其激光损伤阈值的大幅降低,现阶段这一问题已成为激光装置向高功率、高能量方向发展的“瓶颈”,亟待解决。在对光学元件激光损伤的研究中发现,用低于光学元件损伤阈值的激光对元件表面进行预处理,可以有效提高光学元件的抗激光损伤能力。对激光预处理技术的提出背景、定性作用机理、定量理论模型及国内外技术应用现状进行了概述。并且介绍了一种可在薄膜制备过程中进行原位实时激光预处理的新型薄膜制备技术。最后指出,激光预处理技术作为一种无污染,可有效改善光学薄膜、光学玻璃、光学晶体元件损伤阈值的最有效方法之一,其作用机理、实用化、仪器化还有待进一步发展。 相似文献

采用分步傅里叶方法模拟了初始啁啾对光子晶体光纤中超连续谱产生的影响.根据光纤长度,将光子晶体光纤中脉冲的演化分成初始展宽、剧烈展宽和饱和展宽三个阶段.通过讨论啁啾脉冲和无初始啁啾脉冲在各阶段演化的区别,发现啁啾只在初始展宽和剧烈展宽阶段对光谱有影响,当β2C<0时啁啾有利于光谱的展宽,当β2C>0时则刚好相反,在饱和展宽阶段啁啾不再对光谱产生影响.要想利用啁啾脉冲来获得较宽的光谱,必须选择合适的光纤长度,使输出的脉冲处于剧烈展宽阶段.这为利用啁啾脉冲在光子晶体光

By partially doping Pb to effectively suppress the superstructure in single-layered cuprate Bi_2Sr_2CuO_(6+δ)(Pb-Bi2201) and annealing them in vacuum or in high pressure oxygen atmosphere, a series of high quality Pb-Bi2201 single crystals are obtained with T_c covering from 17 K to non-superconducting in the overdoped region. High resolution angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements are carried out on these samples to investigate the evolution of the Fermi surface topology with doping in the normal state. Clear and complete Fermi surfaces are observed and quantitatively analyzed in all of these overdoped Pb-Bi2201 samples. A Lifshitz transition from holelike Fermi surface to electron-like Fermi surface with increasing doping is observed at a doping level of ~0.35. This transition coincides with the change that the sample undergoes superconducting-to-non-superconducting states.Our results reveal the emergence of an electron-like Fermi surface and the existence of a Lifshitz transition in heavily overdoped Bi2201 samples. This provides important information in understanding the connection between the disappearance of superconductivity and the Lifshitz transition in the overdoped region. 相似文献
