帘线/橡胶复合材料广泛应用于轮胎等重要工程领域,为了描述其在服役条件下的大变形、非线性、各向异性和高应变率等材料力学行为,基于纤维增强复合材料连续介质力学理论,提出了一种考虑应变率效应的帘线/橡胶复合材料各向异性黏-超弹性本构模型. 该模型中单位体积的应变能被解耦为便于参数识别的基体等容变形能、帘线拉伸变形能、剪切应变能和黏性应变能四部分. 给出了模型参数的确定方法,并通过拟合文献中单轴拉伸、偏轴拉伸实验数据,得到了模型参数. 利用该模型预测了不同加载和变形条件下的力学行为,并将预测结果与实验结果对比分析. 结果表明, 考虑黏性模型和不考虑黏性模型对不同应变率变形条件下的预测结果相差很大,且考虑黏性模型的预测结果与实验结果吻合很好. 因此,与不考虑黏性模型相比,所提出的各向异性黏-超弹性本构模型能更好地表征帘线/橡胶复合材料在大变形、高应变率条件下的力学特性.   相似文献

指出表征橡胶类材料应变刚化效应的现有超弹性模型涉及应变能无穷发散困难,提出新方法解决该困难。基于对数应变不变量的多轴扩张和多轴匹配步骤,建议直接构造橡胶类材料大变形弹性势的显式直接方法。该方法从单轴应力-应变关系直接得到多轴弹性势,所得结果避免了现有各方法决定待定参数组的复杂数值计算,能够准确描述应变刚性化效应,且给出有界弹性应变能,从而避免了前述发散困难。数值结果表明,从单轴数据所得到的弹性势可同时很好的拟合平面应变拉伸(剪切)数据以及等双轴拉伸数据。  相似文献

短纤维增强三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)包覆薄膜用于一种新型缠绕包覆工艺,主要解决复杂构型自由装填药柱外表面可靠性包覆问题.为了描述其在固体火箭发动机工作过程中产生的大变形、非线性和各向异性等力学行为,根据纤维增强复合材料连续介质力学理论,提出了各向异性超弹性本构模型.该模型中单位体积的应变能函数被解耦成两部分:表征各向同性的橡胶基体应变能和表征各向异性的纤维拉伸应变能,通过引入纤维方向对纤维应变能进行修正,给出了通过单轴拉伸、偏轴拉伸实验数据获取模型参数的具体方法.研究结果表明,该模型能够很好地预测材料在纤维方向0°~45°时的各向异性力学特性,并将预测结果与实验数据对比,误差在5%以下.所建立的各向异性超弹性本构模型准确性高、易于实现数值开发,在一定程度上能够为固体火箭发动机的装药结构完整性分析提供理论依据.  相似文献

通过构建一个热耦合的多轴可压缩应变能函数,得到应力-应变、应力-温度和应变-温度之间的函数关系,建立形状记忆聚合物的本构方程.本文引入三个基于对数应变的不变量使得模型(i)可以模拟可压缩情况;(ii)适用于单轴拉伸和等双轴拉伸至少两个基准实验;(iii)多轴有效.通过显式方法(i)给出自由能和熵的具体表达,证明模型热力学定律;(ii)给出应变-应力,温度-应力以及,温度-应变的形函数具体表达.多轴模型在特定的情况下可以自动退化到各自的单轴情况. 通过调节形函数的参数,最终得到的模型结果和实验结果能够精确匹配.新方法建立的本构模型得到的结果能更加准确地指导形状记忆聚合物的工程设计。  相似文献

基于液压伺服高速加载系统,发展了一种材料双轴拉伸力学性能测试技术。利用锥面接触导向驱动方法,把加载锤竖直方向的驱动力转化为水平方向的双轴驱动力,从而实现对十字形试样平面双轴加载。借助有限元数值模拟手段优化了锥面接触角和十字形试样尺寸。当接触锥角为45°时,既有较好的水平驱动转化效率,同时又保持较小的接触力,确保水平驱动加载各组件在弹性变形范围内,可多次重复使用。确定了加载臂狭缝个数、狭缝与减薄区边缘长度和标距段厚度等试样设计关键参数,在十字形试样测试标距段内实现了均匀变形。设计了测力夹持一体化导杆和非接触光学全场应变测试系统,准确获得了试样的应力和应变。利用此平面双轴拉伸加载装置,开展2024-T351铝合金板单轴拉伸实验和激光探测同步性验证实验,验证装置设计的可行性;开展铝合金板材在不同加载速率下的双轴拉伸实验,得到在双轴加载下铝合金板材应力应变曲线,并与单轴加载下实验结果进行了对比分析。  相似文献

橡胶类材料本构关系对于科学研究和工程应用具有重要意义,但已有的橡胶模型的拟合能力和可靠性需要进一步提高.为解决此问题,本文提出了一种新的橡胶材料的各向同性、不可压缩柯西弹性模型.研究了橡胶材料本构关系的模型形式,基于平面应力变形状态,提出了一种以较大的两个伸长率为自变量、适用于一般变形状态的橡胶材料弹性本构模型形式;研究了橡胶材料在侧面受约束条件下的变形规律,分析了橡胶材料本构关系需要满足的约束条件;在此基础上,结合一个可以通过实验确定的描述平面拉伸变形状态下的橡胶材料力学特性函数,提出一种将该函数拓展为平面应力状态一般模型的方法,并给出了一个具体的函数形式,形成了一个新的不可压缩、各向同性的橡胶材料弹性本构模型.使用5组包含3种类型实验的数据和一组较全面的双轴测试数据对该模型进行了参数拟合,结果表明:该模型具有很好的拟合精度和更高的可靠性,仅用一种类型实验数据,如单轴拉伸或者平面拉伸等,也能获得较好的拟合结果.   相似文献

现有多种形式的橡胶本构模型试图预测橡胶力学性质,其中部分模型已写入有限元软件中用于仿真计算,还存在较多拟合性较好的模型无法在有限元材料库中直接获得。本文详述了由不变量和主伸长率描写的各向同性超弹性本构模型的数值实现方法,并结合最新的本构模型开发了UHYPER和UMAT子程序。将UHYPER用于有限元实现对多孔橡胶板的拉伸仿真,对比仿真和试验结果,验证子程序的正确性以及评估本构模型预测复杂应变场的准确性;将UMAT用于单轴、等双轴和剪切拉伸的有限元仿真,对比仿真和本构模型理论结果,验证子程序的可靠性。结果表明,有限元仿真结果与理论结果拟合较好,子程序能够契合本构模型的力学描述,所述方法可以用于超弹性材料的数值计算。  相似文献

通过显式、直接的方法提出一个多轴可压缩应变能函数,用来模拟类橡胶材料在加载-卸载作用下,由于Mullins效应而产生的应力-应变滞回圈.本文的创新点在于将表征能量耗散的变量引入到应变能函数.新的弹性势具有以下两个特点:第一,在加载情况下,新引入的变量不会对弹性势产生任何影响,因此,只要给出合适的形函数显式表达,3个基准实验,包括单轴拉伸和压缩,等双轴拉伸和压缩,以及平面应变,都可精确模拟;第二,新引入的变量在卸载情况下将被激活.在不同的卸载应力下,变量将发生改变,从而影响弹性势,使其最终产生不同的应力-应变关系卸载曲线,与对应的加载曲线共同构成应力-应变滞回圈.通过对Mullins效应实验数据进行分析和研究,得出了卸载形函数在不同卸载应力下变化的规律,并预测不同卸载应力下的应力-应变关系.最后,我们将得到精确匹配实验数据的数值模拟结果,从而证明本文方法不仅可以精确匹配至少3个基准实验,还可以模拟和预测类橡胶材料在加载-卸载作用下由于Mullins效应而产生的滞回圈.  相似文献

对高弹态未硫化橡胶实施了不同变形模式(单轴拉伸和压缩)的循环力学实验,以考察其黏超弹性响应以及应变率对力学行为的影响。结果表明,材料的拉伸、压缩性能与加载速率和变形历史均有着显著的相关性。对于循环拉伸变形,应力-应变曲线的非线性特征较为明显,材料表现出类似于屈服的性质,且随着循环次数和变形量增加,迟滞损耗的积累趋势逐渐减弱;而对于循环压缩变形,应力-应变关系接近线弹性,且随着循环次数和变形量增加,材料刚度和迟滞损耗积累的趋势都逐渐增强。针对上述实验结果,在经典的Bergstrom-Boyce模型中引入损伤变量,对未硫化橡胶的应变率相关性和Mullins效应进行表征。理论计算结果表明,这种非线性黏超弹模型能够较好地描述未硫化橡胶在不同载荷条件下的变形响应与应力软化特征。  相似文献

In this work, a new, quasi-structural model – bootstrapped eight-chain model – is proposed as a modification to the strain energy of eight-chain model [Arruda, E.M., Boyce, M.C., 1993. A three-dimensional constitutive model for the large stretch behaviour of rubber elastic materials. J. Mech. Phys. Solids 41, 389—412] that invokes the Langevin chain statistics. This development has been led to by our heuristic search into how the strain energy of eight-chain model may be adapted in order to account better for the mechanical behaviour of elastomeric materials in both linear and nonlinear elastic regimes [Treloar, L.R.G., 1944. Stress–strain data for vulcanised rubber under various types of deformation. Trans. Faraday Soc. 40, 59–70]. The eight-chain model appears to produce very similar results in predicting biaxial stress to those of a first stretch-invariant model that gives a good fit in uniaxial extension and, thus, it is shown that the former can not be significantly enhanced within the limitation of the latter. Evaluation of predictive capability for an additive invariant-separated form of strain energy shows that an explicit inclusion of a second stretch-invariant function would not work and that any thus added term ought to be dependent on both the first and second stretch-invariants of deformation tensor, and hints that an improvement is possibly needed at low strain. The composite and filament models [Miroshnychenko, D., Green, W.A., Turner, D.M., 2005. Composite and filament models for the mechanical behaviour of elastomeric materials. J. Mech. Phys. Solids 53 (4), 748–770] have their strain-energy functions in that suggested form and cope very well with predicting the experimental data of Treloar (1944). We use the form of strain energy for the filament model, that proved to be successful, to bootstrap the strain energy of eight-chain model in order to improve the performance of the latter at low strain. Thus, we derive a new model – bootstrapped eight-chain model – that requires only two material parameters – a rubber modulus and a limiting chain extensibility. The proposed model is quasi-structural due to bootstrapping and it retains the best traits and corrects the faults of the eight-chain model, conforming more closely to the classical experimental data of Treloar (1944).  相似文献

In this paper we describe various limited-stretch models of non-linear rubber elasticity, each dependent on only the first invariant of the left Cauchy–Green strain tensor and having only two independent material constants. The models are described as limited-stretch, or restricted elastic, because the strain energy and stress response become infinite at a finite value of the first invariant. These models describe well the limited stretch of the polymer chains of which rubber is composed. We discuss Gent׳s model which is the simplest limited-stretch model and agrees well with experiment. Various statistical models are then described: the one-chain, three-chain, four-chain and Arruda–Boyce eight-chain models, all of which involve the inverse Langevin function. A numerical comparison between the three-chain and eight-chain models is provided. Next, we compare various models which involve approximations to the inverse Langevin function with the exact inverse Langevin function of the eight-chain model. A new approximate model is proposed that is as simple as Cohen׳s original model but significantly more accurate. We show that effectively the eight-chain model may be regarded as a linear combination of the neo-Hookean and Gent models. Treloar׳s model is shown to have about half the percentage error of our new model but it is much more complicated. For completeness a modified Treloar model is introduced but this is only slightly more accurate than Treloar׳s original model. For the deformations of uniaxial tension, biaxial tension, pure shear and simple shear we compare the accuracy of these models, and that of Puso, with the eight-chain model by means of graphs and a table. Our approximations compare extremely well with models frequently used and described in the literature, having the smallest mean percentage error over most of the range of the argument.  相似文献

The Ogden model for an incompressible isotropic hyperelastic material is versatile enough to match complicated data for rubber-like materials at large deformations. However, the tensorial expression for the Cauchy stress in the Ogden model requires determination of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the left Cauchy-Green deformation tensor \(\mathbf{B}\). The objective of this paper is to propose an invariant-based Ogden-type model for isotropic incompressible hyperelastic materials. The strain energy function in this new model depends on classical invariants of \(\mathbf{B}\) and the Cauchy stress tensor can be expressed directly in terms of the tensor \(\mathbf{B}\) without need for its spectral form. Examples show that this new Ogden-type model retains the versatility of the original Ogden model in characterizing material response.  相似文献

Suitably defined invariants of the logarithmic strain are shown to be more adequate than the usual invariants of the left Cauchy-Green tensor to define the type and intensity of a strain applied to hyperelastic rubber-like materials. Coupling these invariants with the macromolecular full-network model clarifies some features of the state of strain dependence of these materials. Finally, comparisons of the model with experimental data illustrate the efficiency of the full-network model and the dependence of the material parameters on the applied loading history.  相似文献

A new numerical approach is presented to compute the large deformations of shell-type structures made of the Saint Venant-Kirchhoff and Neo-Hookean materials based on the seven-parameter shell theory. A work conjugate pair of the first Piola Kirchhoff stress tensor and deformation gradient tensor is considered for the stress and strain measures in the paper. Through introducing the displacement vector, the deformation gradient, and the stress tensor in the Cartesian coordinate system and by means of the chain rule for taking derivative of tensors, the difficulties in using the curvilinear coordinate system are bypassed. The variational differential quadrature (VDQ) method as a pointwise numerical method is also used to discretize the weak form of the governing equations. Being locking-free, the simple implementation, computational efficiency, and fast convergence rate are the main features of the proposed numerical approach. Some well-known benchmark problems are solved to assess the approach. The results indicate that it is capable of addressing the large deformation problems of elastic and hyperelastic shell-type structures efficiently.  相似文献

This work presents a new constitutive model for the effective response of fiber-reinforced elastomers at finite strains. The matrix and fiber phases are assumed to be incompressible, isotropic, hyperelastic solids. Furthermore, the fibers are taken to be perfectly aligned and distributed randomly and isotropically in the transverse plane, leading to overall transversely isotropic behavior for the composite. The model is derived by means of the “second-order” homogenization theory, which makes use of suitably designed variational principles utilizing the idea of a “linear comparison composite.” Compared to other constitutive models that have been proposed thus far for this class of materials, the present model has the distinguishing feature that it allows consideration of behaviors for the constituent phases that are more general than Neo-Hookean, while still being able to account directly for the shape, orientation, and distribution of the fibers. In addition, the proposed model has the merit that it recovers a known exact solution for the special case of incompressible Neo-Hookean phases, as well as some other known exact solutions for more general constituents under special loading conditions.  相似文献

A new method is developed to determine the dominant asymptotic stress and deformation fields near the tip of a Mode-I traction free plane stress crack. The analysis is based on the fully nonlinear equilibrium theory of incompressible hyperelastic solids. We show that the dominant singularity of the near tip stress field is governed by the asymptotic solution of a linear second order ordinary differential equation. Our method is applicable to any hyperelastic material with a smooth work function that depends only on the trace of the Cauchy-Green tensor and is particularly useful for materials that exhibit severe strain hardening. We apply this method to study two types of soft materials: generalized neo-Hookean solids and a solid that hardens exponentially. For the generalized neo-Hookean solids, our method is able to resolve a difficulty in the previous work by Geubelle and Knauss (1994a). Our theoretical results are compared with finite element simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, an exponential framework for strain energy density functions of elastomers and soft biological tissues is proposed. Based on this framework and using a self-contained approach that is different from a guesswork or combination viewpoint, a set strain energy density functions in terms of the first and second strain invariants is rebuilt. Among the constructed options for strain energy density, a new exponential and mathematically justified model is examined. This model benefits from the existence of second strain invariant, simplicity, stability of parameters, and the state of being accurate. This model can capture strain softening, strain hardening and is able to differentiate between various deformation-state dependent responses of elastomers and soft tissues undergoing finite deformation. The model has two material parameters and the mathematical formulation is simple to render the possibility of numerical implementations. In order to investigate the appropriateness of the proposed model in comparison to other hyperelastic models, several experimental data for incompressible isotropic materials (elastomers) such as VHB 4905 (polyacrylate rubber), two various silicone rubbers, synthetic rubber neoprene, two different natural rubbers, b186 rubber (a carbon black-filled rubber), Yeoh vulcanizate rubber, and finally porcine liver tissue (a very soft biological tissue) are examined. The results demonstrate that the proposed model provides an acceptable prediction of the behavior of elastomers and soft tissues under large deformation for different applied loading states.  相似文献

A phenomenological model to predict the Mullins stress-softening effect in an isotropic, incompressible, hyperelastic rubber-like material is proposed which describes deformation induced microstructural damage and the same is characterised by a simple exponential softening function. The proposed isotropic damage function depends on the maximum previous value of the first invariant of the left Cauchy–Green deformation tensor. The proposed model of softening is illustrated with the theory of Gent material model and finally it is validated with experimental data provided in the literature. The model shows a simple functional form and brings out the interrelation between other models of this type.  相似文献
