By using an Ar^+ ion laser, a tunable Rh 6G dye laser (linewidth 0.5cm^-1) pumped by the second harmonic of a YAG:Nd laser and a Coherent 899-21 dye laser as light sources and using a monochromator, a phase-locking amplifier and a computer as the data detecting system, we detect the optical properties of Eu^3+-doped Y2SiO5 crystal. Persistent ,spectral hole burning (PSHB) are observed in the Eu^3+ ions spectral lines (^5 Do-T Fo transition) in the crystal at the temperature of 16K. For 15mW dye laser burning the crystal for 0.1 s spectral holes with hole width about 80 MHz both at 579.62nm and at 579.82nm are detected and the holes can remain for a long time, more than 10h.  相似文献

The ferroelectric crystal Ba2TiSi2O8 with high second-order optical nonlinearity is precipitated in Sm^3+-doped BaO-TiO2-SiO2 glass by a focused 800hm, 250 kHz and 150fs femtosecond laser irradiation. No apparent blue and red emissions are observed at the beginning, while strong blue emission due to second harmonic generation and red emission due to the f-f transitions of Sm^3+ are observed near the focal point of the laser beam after irradiation for 25s. Micro-Raman spectra confirm that Ba2 TiSi2O8 crystalline dots and lines are formed after laser irradiation. The mechanism of the phenomenon is discussed.  相似文献

Near-infrared luminescence is observed from bismuth-doped GeS2-Ga2Sa chalcogenide glasses excited by an 808 nm laser diode. The emission peak with a maximum at about 1260 nm is observed in 80GeS2-2OGa2 Sa:O.fBi glass and it shifts toward the long wavelength with the addition of Bi gradually. The full width of half maximum (FWHM) is about 200 nm. The broadband infrared luminescence of Bi-doped GeS2-Ga2Sa chalcogenide glasses may be predominantly originated from the low valence state of Bi, such as Bi+. Raman scattering is also conducted to claxify the structure of glasses. These Bi-doped GeS2 Ga2Sa chalcogenide glasses can be applied potentially in novel broadband optical fibre amplifiers and broadly tunable laser in optical communication system.  相似文献

Ca3Y2 (BO3)4:Eu^3+ phosphor is synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction method, and the Iuminescence characteristics are investigated. The emission spectrum exhibits two strong red emissions at 613 and 621 nm corresponding to the electric dipole ^5 Do- ^7F2 transition of Eu^3+ under 365 nm excitation, the reason is that Eu^3+ substituting for Y^3+ occupies the non-centrosymmetric position in the crystal structure of Ca3 Y2 (BO3)4. The excitation spectrum for 613 nm indicates that the phosphor can be effectively excited by ultraviolet (UV) (254 nm, 365nm and 400nm) and blue (470nm) light. The effect of Eu^3+ concentration on the emission intensity of Ca3 Y2 (BO3)4 :Eu^3+ phosphor is measured, the result shows that the emission intensities increase with increasing Eu^3+ concentration, then decrease. The CIE colour coordinates of Ca3Y2 (BO3)4:Eu^3+ phosphor is (0.639, 0.357) at 15mol% Eu^3+.  相似文献

LiSrBO3 :Eu3+ phosphor is synthesized by a high solid-state reaction method, and its luminescent characteristics are investigated. The emission and excitation spectra of LiSrBO3:Eu3+ phosphors exhibit that the phosphors can be effectively excited by near ultraviolet (401 nm) and blue (471 nm) light, and emit 615nm red light. The effect of Eua+ concentration on the emission spectrum of LiSrBO3:Eu3+ phosphor is studied; the results show that the emission intensity increases with increasing Eu3+ concentration, and then decreases because of concentration quenching. It reaches the maximum at 3mol%, and the concentration self-quenching mechanism is the dipoledipole interaction according to the Dexter theory. Under the conditions of charge compensation Li+, Na+ or K+ incorporated in LiSrBO3, the luminescent intensities of LiSrBO3 :Eua+ phosphor are enhanced.  相似文献

We examine laser-induced ion and neutral emissions from single-crystal CaHPO4·2 H2O (brushite), a wide-band-gap, hydrated inorganic single crystal, with 248-nm excimer laser radiation. Both laser-induced ion and neutral emissions are several orders of magnitude higher following exposure to 2 keV electrons at current densities of 200 7A/cm2 and doses of 1 C/cm2. In addition to intense Ca+ signals, electron-irradiated surfaces yield substantial CaO+, PO+, and P+ signals. As-grown and as-cleaved brushite show only weak neutral O2 and Ca emissions, whereas electron-irradiated surfaces yield enhanced O2, Ca, PO, PO2, and P emissions. Electron irradiation (i) significantly heats the sample, leading to thermal dehydration (CaHPO4 formation) and pyrolysis (Ca2P2O7 formation) and (ii) chemically reduces the surface via electron stimulated desorption. The thermal effects are accompanied by morphological changes, including recrystallization. Although complex, these changes lead to high defect densities, which are responsible for the dramatic enhancements in the observed laser desorption.  相似文献

By using optical emission spectroscopy (OES), N2 and N2^+ vibrational temperatures in capacitively coupled plasma discharges with different exciting frequencies are investigated. The vibrational temperatures are acquired by comparing the measured and calculated spectra of selected transitions with a least-square procedure. It is found that N2 and N2^+ vibrational temperatures almost increase linearly with increasing exciting frequency up to 23 MHz, then increase slowly or even decrease. The pressure corresponding to the maximum point of N2 vibrational temperature decreases with the increasing exciting frequency. These experimental phenomena are attributed to the increasing electron density, whereas the electron temperature decreases with exciting frequency rising.  相似文献

In the framework of quantum defect theory, we calculate photoabsorption cross sections of Na^+ 2. Based on our calculations, there is an absorption window in the photoabsorption cross sections of Na^+ 2. and more than one bump above the absorption window. The calculated photoabsorption cross sections provide an explanation for the abnormal bump in the experimental measurements of Hudson, which is a long-standing experimental puzzle.  相似文献

The novel vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) excited Na3 Y9O3 (BO3)8:Tb^3+ (NYOB:Tb^3+) green phosphor is prepared. Strong VUV photoluminescence and high quenching concentration of Tb^3+ (20 wt%) are observed in NYOB: Tb^3+ and the strong emission are correlated with the unique layer-type structure of NYOB. All the characteristic 4 f - 5d transitions of Tb^3+ and the host absorption band in VUV region are identified in the excitation spectrum. Based on the results, the energy levels scheme of Tb^3+ in NYOB:Tb^3+ is first established. This newly developed NYOB:Tb^3+ phosphor shows excellent optical properties when compared with the commercial Zn2SiO4:Mn^2+ and would be a potential VUV-excited green phosphor.  相似文献

Bi~(3+) and Yb~(3+) codoped cubic Y2O3 phosphors are prepared by pechini sol-gel method.Strong near-infrared (NIR) emission around 980 nm from Yb~(3+)(2F5/2 → 2F7/2) is observed under ultraviolet light excitation.A broad excitation band ranging from 320 to 360 nm,owing to the 6s 2 →6s6p transition of Bi~(3+) ions,is recorded when the Yb~(3+) emission is monitored,which suggests a very efficient energy transfer from Bi~(3+) ions to Yb~(3+) ions.The Yb~(3+) concentration dependences of both the Bi~(3+) and the Yb~(3+) emissions are investigated.The decay curve of Bi ~(3+) emission under the excitation of 355 nm pulse laser is used to explore the Bi~(3+) →Yb~(3+) energy transfer process.Cooperative energy transfer (CET) is discussed as a possible mechanism for the near-infrared emission.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline coatings of TiC and TiB2 were grown by pulsed laser deposition on Si(100) and on X155 steel at low substrate temperatures ranging from 40 °C to 650 °C. A pulsed KrF excimer laser was used with the deposition chamber at a base pressure of 10-6 mbar. The morphology and structure of the films, studied with SEM, XRD, and TEM, showed that nanocrystalline films with a fine morphology of TiC and TiB2 were deposited with a grain size of 10 nm-70 nm at all substrate temperatures. The growth of the polycrystalline coatings possessed a columnar morphology with a 𘜄¢ preferred orientation. The hardness of the coatings was determined to be 40 GPa and the elastic modulus, 240 GPa. The composition and the kinetics of the plume produced during the pulsed laser deposition of TiC and TiB2 was studied under film growth conditions. The mass analysis of ions of the ejected material was performed by time-of-flight mass spectroscopy (TOF-MS) and showed the presence of Ti+ and C+ during TiC ablation and B+, B2+, and Ti+ during TiB2 ablation. The kinetic energies (KE) of the ions depended on the laser fluence which was between 0.5 eV and 340 eV. The kinetic energy and the evolution of the plasma was studied with a streak camera. The velocity of the plasma was of the order of 106 cm/sec and was linearly dependent on the energy fluence of the laser. The emission spectroscopy of the plasma plume confirmed the atomic neutral and single excited species of Ti. These results show that coating growth basically occurs by the recombination of the ionic species at the surface of the substrate.  相似文献

We report a thin film electroluminescent device with a three-layer structure (diamond/CeF3/SiO2 films), which has a luminance of 1.5 cd/m^2 at dc voltage 215 V. The electroluminescence spectrum at room temperature shows that the main peaks locate at 527 and 593nm, which are attributed to isolated emission centers of Ce^3+ ions.  相似文献

Three-body exit channel in the reaction 12C+16O at 56MeV has been studied by using measurement of the coincidence between the two changed particles.The projected spectra of the coinsidence between the two α-particles shows that the channel α+24Mg is the main intermediate process of three-body exit channel α12+20Ne in the reaction 12C+16O at 56MeV.The analysis of theoretical calculation showed that the sum of sequential decay and statistical break-up fit the experimental spectra satisfactorily.  相似文献

We report on cooperative quantum cutting in Tb^3+- Yb^3+ codoped glass ceramics. Precipitation of BaF2 nanocrystals is confirmed by XRD and HRTEM analysis. Near-infrared emission due to transition of Yb^3+ ions under 485 nm excitation indicates cooperative energy transfer from Tb^3+ to Yb^3+. The quantum efficiency of this process reaches 145%. The realization of quantum cutting in glass ceramics may have promising applications in solar cells.  相似文献

采用异丙醇铝[Al(OC3H7)3]为前驱体,溶胶-凝胶(Sol-gel)法制备Er3+-Yb3+共掺杂Al2O3粉末.实验结果表明:900 ℃烧结的粉末为固溶Er3+、Yb3+的γ-(Al,Er,Yb)2O3相和少量θ-(Al,Er,Yb)2O3相的混合物.Er3+-Yb3+共掺杂Al2O3粉末具有中心波长为1.533 μm的光致发光(PL)特性.1 mol % Er3+和1 mol% Yb3+共掺杂的Al2O3粉末的PL强度较1 mol % Er3+掺杂提高2倍,半峰宽从53 nm增加到63 nm.随泵浦功率的提高,PL强度呈线性增加后渐呈饱和趋势.  相似文献

Structural and magnetic properties of Fe-doped anatase TiO2 films fabricated by sol-gel spin coating are investigated. X-ray diffraction measurements reveal that Fe^3+ ions are incorporated into the TiO2 lattice. No ferromagnetism-related secondary phases and magnetic nanopaxticles are observed in the films. The presence of electron paramagnetic resonance signals at 9- 2.0 supports oxygen vacancies and/or defects generated in the films after annealing in vacuum. Magnetic measurements indicate that Fe-doped anatase TiO2 films are ferromagnetic at room temperature. These observations suggest that oxygen vacancies and/or defects axe energetically favorable for the long range Fe^3+-Fe^3+ ferromagnetic coupling in Fe-doped anatase TiO2 films.  相似文献

We investigate the luminescence properties of Bi^3+ and RE^3+ (RE = Tb or Eu) in a Y3Ga5O12 (YGG) host system. The additional doping of Bi^3+ can enhance the luminescence of Th^3+ or Eu^3+ in this host. Energy transfer from Bi^3+ to Tb^3+ and Eu^3+ is observed and the mechanism of energy transfer is investigated. Mechanism of energy transfer can be explained as electric multipole interaction since the Bi^3+ emission band and Tb^3+ or Eu^3+ excitation band overlaps and the Bi^3+ emission intensity decreases while the intensity of Tb^3+ or Eu^3+ increases with the increase of Tb^3+ or Eu^3+ concentration. Therefore, Bi^3+ ion is a kind of efficient sensitizer to the Tb^3+ and Eu^3+ activators in the Y3Ga5O12 host.  相似文献

We have investigated KrF excimer-laser-induced positive ion desorption from single-crystal brushite (CaHPO4·2H2O), a model biomineral containing water, and we show the effect of heat treatment on ion desorption. Time-of-flight peaks of Ca+ desorption from the heated-cleaved surface are similar to those from as-cleaved ones, but the ion intensity is 2 to 4 orders of magnitude larger. In addition to Ca+, desorption of CaO+, PO+, and P+ from the heated surface is also strongly enhanced. The heated-cleaved surface shows rough, platelet-like fine structures due to recrystallization. Surface defects created during recrystallization strongly couple with the 5 eV photons and dramatically enhance ion desorption.  相似文献

The samples of europium ions doped titanium dioxide (Eu^3+/TiO2) nanocrystals are synthesized by a modified sol-gel method with hydrothermal treatment. The x-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy are used to characterize the sample. The temperature-dependent fluorescence emission effect of Eu^3+-doped samples is investigated. It is found that under the excitation of 514.5nm light, the emission intensity of Eu^3+ reaches a maximum value at 450K among various Eu^3+ dopant concentrations in Eu^3+ /TiO2 nanocrystals. The variation of the emission intensity may be attributed to the photon-assist absorption and the temperature-quenching effect.  相似文献
