In this paper, we first discuss the detection of supernova neutrinos on earth. Then we propose a possible method to acquire information about θ13 smaller than 1.5° by detecting the ratio of the event numbers of different flavor supernova neutrinos. Such an sensitivity cannot yet be achieved by the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment.  相似文献

This study uses Daya Bay RPCs operating in streamer mode to investigate gas mixtures of at least 50% argon,at most 6% isobutane,and with small amounts of SF6.Isobutane is reduced to 2% without degradation of performance,and SF6 reduces the noise rate and current,as well as the signal size.This study provides quantitative relationships between basic RPC operating parameters and various gas compositions.  相似文献

In this paper, the performance of a type of domestic THGEM (THick Gaseous Electron Multiplier) working in Ar/CO2 mixtures is reported in detail. This kind of single THGEM can provide a gain range from 100 to 1000, which is very suitable for application in neutron detection. In order to study its basic characteristics as a reference for the development of a THGEM based neutron detector, the counting rate plateau, the energy resolution and the gain of the THGEM have been measured in different Ar/CO2 mixtures with a variety of electrical fields. For the Ar/CO2(90%/10%) gas mixture, a wide counting rate plateau is achieved from 720 V to 770 V, with a plateau slope of 2.4%/100 V, and an excellent energy resolution of about 22% is obtained at the 5.9 keV full energy peak of the 55Fe X-ray source.  相似文献

Plasma in a typically elongated cross-section tokamak (for example, EAST) is inherently unstable against vertical displacement. When plasma loses the vertical position control, it moves downward or upward, leading to disruption, and a large halo current is generated helically in EAST typically in the scrape-off layer. When flowing into the vacuum vessel through in-vessel components, the halo current will give rise to a large J × B force acting on the vessel and the in-vessel components. In EAST VDE experiment, part of the eddy current is measured in halo sensors, due to the large loop voltage. Primary experimental data demonstrate that the halo current first lands on the outer plate and then flows clockwise, and the analysis of the information indicates that the maximum halo current estimated in EAST is about 0.4 times the plasma current and the maximum value of TPF × Ih/Ip0 is 0.65, furthermore Ih/Ipo and TPF × Ih/Ipo tend to increase with the increase of Ip0. The test of the strong gas injection system shows good success in increasing the radiated power, which may be effective in reducing the halo current.  相似文献

Online fuel pebble burnup measurement in a future high temperature gas cooling reactor is proposed for implementation through a high purity germanimn (HPGe) gamma spectrometer. By using KORIGEN software and MCNP Monte Carlo simulations, the single pebble gamma radiations to be recorded in the detector are simulated under different, irradiation histories. A specially developed algorithm is applied to analyze the generated spectra to reconstruct the gamma activity of the ~arCs monitoring nuclide. It is demonstrated that by taking into account the intense interfering peaks, the 137Cs activity in the spent pebbles can be derived with a standard deviation of 3.0% (l(r). The results support the feasibility of utilizing the HPGe spectrometry in the online determination of the pebble burimp in future modular pebble bed reactors.  相似文献

By combining the microwave propagation theory and the gas breakdown theory, the microwave propagation with the gas breakdown is analyzed theoretically. Particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo collision (PIC/MCC) simulations are carried out to verify the theoretical results. Based on this theoretical method, the breakdown phenomenon of the pulse microwave is analyzed. The results show that the product values of the initial electron density and the propagation length are the criterion to distinguish the pulse peak decline breakdown and the pulse width reduction breakdown. Furthermore, the energy transmission is also studied, which shows that the total output energy is approximately independent of the input electric field if the electric field is not extremely large.  相似文献

Persistent photoconductivity has been investigated by various models, among which the Macroscopic Barrier model, Large-Lattice-Relaxation model, and Random Local Potential Fluctuations model are mostly well known. Although the three well-known models have played important roles in describing the persistent photoconductivity, they are not the principal cause of persistent photoconductivity. In this paper a classical model originated from "selfmagnetism of electron gas" is proposed to illustrate the persistent photoconductivity phenomenon. This classical model is based on electron gas pulsation, which depends on the charge density. Different concentrations of current carriers create different frequencies in the system, and thus the system is sensitive to different wave lengths of incident light. Then the construction of different detectors can be possible for different wave lengths of incident light.  相似文献

Our recent experimental work on metallic and insulating interfaces controlled by interfacial redox reactions in SrTiO3-based heterostructures is reviewed along with a more general background of two-dimensional electron gas(2DEG)at oxide interfaces.Due to the presence of oxygen vacancies at the SrTiO3surface,metallic conduction can be created at room temperature in perovskite-type interfaces when the overlayer oxide ABO3has Al,Ti,Zr,or Hf elements at the B sites.Furthermore,relying on interface-stabilized oxygen vacancies,we have created a new type of 2DEG at the heterointerface between SrTiO3and a spinelγ-Al2O3epitaxial film with compatible oxygen ion sublattices.This 2DEG exhibits an electron mobility exceeding 100000 cm2·V 1·s 1,more than one order of magnitude higher than those of hitherto investigated perovskite-type interfaces.Our findings pave the way for the design of high-mobility all-oxide electronic devices and open a route toward the studies of mesoscopic physics with complex oxides.  相似文献

An X-ray imaging device based on a triple-GEM (Gas Electron Multiplier) detector, a fast delay-line circuit with 700 MHz cut-off frequency and two dimensional readout strips with 150 μm width on the top and 250 μm width on the bottom, is designed and tested. The localization information is derived from the propagation time of the induced signals on the readout strips. This device has a good spatial resolution of 150 μm and works stably at an intensity of 105 Hz/mm2 with 8 keV X-rays.  相似文献

By making use of the quasi-two-dimensional (quasi-2D) model, the current-voltage (l-V) characteristics of In0AsA10.82N/A1N/GaN heterostructure field-effect transistors (HFETs) with different gate lengths are simulated based on the measured capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics and I-V characteristics. By analyzing the variation of the electron mobility for the two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) with electric field, it is found that the different polarization charge distributions generated by the different channel electric field distributions can result in different polarization Coulomb field scatterings. The difference between the electron mobilities primarily caused by the polarization Coulomb field scatterings can reach up to 1522.9 cm2/V.s for the prepared In0.38AI0.82N/A1N/GaN HFETs. In addition, when the 2DEG sheet density is modulated by the drain-source bias, the electron mobility presents a peak with the variation of the 2DEG sheet density, the gate length is smaller, and the 2DEG sheet density corresponding to the peak point is higher.  相似文献

The J-V characteristics of AltGa1 tN/GaN high electron mobility transistors(HEMTs) are investigated and simulated using the self-consistent solution of the Schro dinger and Poisson equations for a two-dimensional electron gas(2DEG) in a triangular potential well with the Al mole fraction t = 0.3 as an example.Using a simple analytical model,the electronic drift velocity in a 2DEG channel is obtained.It is found that the current density through the 2DEG channel is on the order of 10^13 A/m^2 within a very narrow region(about 5 nm).For a current density of 7 × 10^13 A/m62 passing through the 2DEG channel with a 2DEG density of above 1.2 × 10^17 m^-2 under a drain voltage Vds = 1.5 V at room temperature,the barrier thickness Lb should be more than 10 nm and the gate bias must be higher than 2 V.  相似文献

In this paper we develop a variational theory to study the dynamic properties of ultracold Bose gas in a funnel external potential. We obtain one-dimensional nonlinear equation which describes the dynamics of transverse tight confined bosonic gas from three-dimension to one-dimension, and find one-dimensional s-wave scattering length which depends on the shape of transverse confining potential. If the funnel trapping potential is strong enough at zero temperature, all transverse excitations are frozen. We find the dynamic equation which describes the Tonks-Girardeau gas and present a qualitative analysis of the experimental accessibility of the Tonks Girardeau gas with funnel-trapped alkalic atoms.  相似文献

The tunneling dynamics of superfluid Fermi gas in a triple-well potential in the unitarity regime is investigated in the present paper. The fixed points of the (0, 0) mode and the (∏, ∏) mode are given. We find that the interaction parameter U and the coupling strength k could have an extreme effect on the quantum tunneling dynamics. We also find that, in the zero mode, only Josophson oscillation appears. However, for the ∏ mode, the trapping phenomena take place. An irregular oscillation of the particle number in each well could appear by adjusting the scanning period T* . It is noted that if the scanning period is less than a critical point T , the particle number will come back to the fixed point with small oscillation, while if T T* the particle number cannot come back to the fixed point, but with irregular oscillations. The dependence of the critical point T* on the system parameter of coupling strength k is numerically given.  相似文献

The first-principles calculations are employed to investigate the stability, magnetic, and electrical properties of the oxide heterostructure of LaAIO3/SrTiO3 (110). By comparing their interface energies, it is obtained that the buckled interface is more stable than the abrupt interface. This result is consistent with experimental observation. At the interface of LaAIO3/SrTiO3 (110) heterostructure, the Ti-O octahedron distortions cause the Ti tzg orbitals to split into the two- fold degenerate dxz/dyz and nondegenerate dxy orbitals. The former has higher energy than the latter. The partly filled two-fold degenerate t2g orbitals are the origin of two-dimensional electron gas, which is confined at the interface. Lattice mismatch between LaA103 and SrTiO3 leads to ferroelectric-like lattice distortions at the interface, and this is the origin of spin-splitting of Ti 3d electrons. Hence the magnetism appears at the interface of LaAIO3/SrTiO3 (110).  相似文献

The Joule-Thomson effect reflects the interaction among constituent particles of macroscopic system. For classical ideal gas, the corresponding .Joule-Thomson coefficient is vanishing while it is non-zero for ideal quantum gas due to the quantum degeneracy. In recent years, much attention is paid to the unitary Fermi gas with infinite two-body scattering length. According to universal analysis, the thermodynamical law of unitary Fermi gas is similar to that of non-interacting ideal gas, which can be explored by the virial theorem P = 2E/3V. Based on previous works, we further study the unitary Fermi gas properties. The effective chemical potential is introduced to characterize the nonlinear levels crossing effects in a strongly interacting medium. The changing behavior of the rescaled Joule-Thomson coefficient according to temperature manifests a quite different behavior from that for ideal Fermi gas.  相似文献

The free electron gas in a uniform magnetic field at low temperature is restudied. The grand partition function previously obtained by Landau's quantitative calculation contains three parts, which are all approximate. An improved calculation is presented, in which two of the three parts are obtained in exact forms. A simple remedy for Landau and Lifshitz's qualitative calculation in the textbook is also given, which turns the qualitative result into the same one as obtained by the improved quantitative calculation. The chemical potential is solved approximately and the thermodynamic quantities are caiculated explicitly in both a weak field and a strong field. The thermodynamic quantities in a strong field obtained here contain both non-oscillating and oscillating corrections to the corresponding results derived from Landau's grand partition function. In particular, Landau's grand partition function is not sufficiently accurate to yield our nonzero results for the specific heat and the entropy. An error in the Laplace-transform method for the problem is corrected. The results previously obtained by this method are also improved.  相似文献

6SGa decays to the excited states of aSzn through the electron capture decay mode. New recommended values for the emission probability of 1077 keV γ-ray given by the ENSDF and DDEP databases all use data from absolute measurements. In 2011, JIANG Li-Yang deduced a new value for 1077 keV γ-ray emission probability by measuring the 69Ga(n,2n) 6SGa reaction cross section. The new value is about 20% lower than values obtained from previous absolute measurements and evaluations. In this paper, the discrepancies among the measurements and evaluations are analyzed carefully and the new values are re-recommended. Our recommended value for the emission probability of 1077 keV γ-ray is (2.72±0.16)%.  相似文献

In this paper, the Padé approximant and analytic solution in the neighborhood of the initial value are introduced into the process of constructing the Shilnikov type homoclinic trajectories in three-dimensional nonlinear dynamical systems. The PID controller system with quadratic and cubic nonlinearities, the simplified solar-wind-driven-magnetosphere-ionosphere system, and the human DNA sequence system are considered. With the aid of presenting a new condition, the solutions of solving the boundary-value problems which are formulated for the trajectory and evaluating the initial amplitude values become available. At the same time, the value of the bifurcation parameter is obtained directly, which is almost consistent with the numerical result.  相似文献

We study the collective dynamics of a non-dissipative two-coupled pendulum system, including phase synchronization (PS) and measure synchronization (MS). We find that as the coupling intensity between the two pendulums increases, the PS happens prior to the MS. We also present a three-dimensional phase space representation of MS, from which a more detailed information about evolution can be obtained. Fu~.hermore, the order parameters are introduced to describe the phase transition between PS and MS. Finally, through the analysis of the Poincar6 sections, we show that the system exhibits separatrix crossing behavior right at the MS transition point, and as the total initial energy increases, the Hamiltonian chaos will arise with separatrix chaos at the chaotic MS transition point.  相似文献

The three-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation is solved for the case of equal vector and scalar second Poschl-Teller potential by proper approximation of the centrifugal term within the framework of the asymptotic iteration method. Energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave function are obtained analytically. Eigenvalues are computed numerically for some values of n and It is found that the results are in good agreement with the findings of other methods for short-range potential.  相似文献
