非线性波动与社会传播混合型方程的整体紧吸引子

本文研究非一波动与神经传播混合型方程ｕｔｔ＝ｕｘｘｔ＋σ（ｕｘ）ｘ－ｈ（ｕ）ｕｔ－ｆ（ｕ）＋ｇ（ｘ）初边值问题的整体吸引子，在σ∈Ｃ＾２，σ（ｓ）〉σ０〉０及ｈ（ｓ）∈Ｃ＾１，－Ｃｏ〈ｈ（ｓ）（０〈Ｃｏ〈λ１／２）且∫ｏ＾ｕｈ（ｓ）ｓｄｓ〈Ｃｕ＾２条件下我们得到了与该方程相应的动力系统整体紧吸引子的存在性，并证明了它具有有限的Ｈａｕｓｄｏｒｆｆｘ维数和ｆｒａｃｔａｌ维数。

New Kamenev-type oscillation criteria for half-linear partial differential equations

We establish new Kamenev-type oscillation criteria for the half-linear partial differential equation with damping under quite general conditions. These results are extensions of the recent results developed by Sun [Y.G. Sun, New Kamenev-type oscillation criteria of second order nonlinear differential equations with damping, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 291 (2004) 341-351] for second order ordinary differential equations in a natural way, and improve some existing results in the literature. As applications, we illustrate our main results using two different types of half-linear partial differential equations.

Global Existence of Solutions for the Kawahara Equation in Sobolev Spaces of Negative Indices

We first prove that the Cauchy problem of the Kawahara equation, δtu ＋ uδxu ＋βδx^3u＋γδx^5u = 0, is locally solvable if the initial data belong to H^r（R） and r〉 r≥-7/5, thus improving the known local well-posedness result of this equation. Next we use this local result and the method of ＂almost conservation law＂ to prove that global solutions exist if the initial data belong to H^r（R） and r〉-1/2.     

Solutions globales de certaines équations de Fuchs non linéaires dans les espaces de Gevrey

We consider nonlinear partial differential equations with several Fuchsian variables of type , where is a Fuchsian principal part of weight zero. We prove existence and uniqueness of a global solution to this problem in the space of holomorphic functions with respect to the Fuchsian variable and in Gevrey spaces with respect to the other variable . The method of proof is based on the application of the fixed point theorem in some Banach algebras defined by majorant functions that are suitable to this kind of equation.

HOLDER ESTIMATES FOR SOLUTIONS OF UNIFORMLY DEGENERATE QUASILINEAR PARABOLIC EQUATIONS

In this paper the author discusses the quasilinear parabolic equation $$\[\frac{{\partial u}}{{\partial t}} = \frac{\partial }{{\partial {x_i}}}[{a_{ij}}(x,t,u)\frac{{\partial u}}{{\partial {x_j}}}] + {b_i}(x,t,u)\frac{{\partial u}}{{\partial {x_i}}} + c(x,t,u)\]$$ Which is uniformly degenerate at $\[u = 0\]$. Let $\[u(x,t)\]$ be a classical solution of the equation satisfying $\[0 < u(x,t) \le M\]$. Under some assumptions the author establishes the interior estimations of Holder coefficient of the solution for the equation and the global estimations for Cauchy problems and the first boundary value problems, where Holder ooeffioients and exponents are independent of the lower positive bound of $\[u(x,t)\]$.
