We explore a new mechanism to explain polarization phenomena in opinion dynamics in which agents evaluate alternative views on the basis of the social feedback obtained on expressing them. High support of the favored opinion in the social environment is treated as a positive feedback which reinforces the value associated to this opinion. In connected networks of sufficiently high modularity, different groups of agents can form strong convictions of competing opinions. Linking the social feedback process to standard equilibrium concepts we analytically characterize sufficient conditions for the stability of bi-polarization. While previous models have emphasized the polarization effects of deliberative argument-based communication, our model highlights an affective experience-based route to polarization, without assumptions about negative influence or bounded confidence.  相似文献

研究了一类时变动力系统的高余维分岔及其控制问题,首先利用新方法对时变分岔方程的两个方向的分岔转迁和跃迁现象进行分析,分别通过慢变解的线性化近似和量级平衡估计分岔转迁值,然后研究这类时变分岔方程的线性反蚀控制问题,通过分析相应的二维高次自治系统的Hopf分岔,在适当的条件下得到了稳定的动态滞后环,研究揭示出脉冲振动产生的机理是分岔参数随时间周期变化经过定常分岔值时所发生的分岔转迁的滞后和跃迁现象。  相似文献

The genes of the NFκB pathway are involved in the control of a plethora of biological processes ranking from inhibition of apoptosis to metastasis in cancer. It has been described that Gliobastoma multiforme (GBM) patients carry aberrant NFκB activation, but the molecular mechanisms are not completely understood. Here, we present a NFκB pathway analysis in tumor specimens of GBM compared to non-neoplasic brain tissues, based on the different kind of cycles found among genes of a gene co-expression network constructed using quantized data obtained from the microarrays. A cycle is a closed walk with all vertices distinct (except the first and last). Thanks to this way of finding relations among genes, a more robust interpretation of gene correlations is possible, because the cycles are associated with feedback mechanisms that are very common in biological networks. In GBM samples, we could conclude that the stoichiometric relationship between genes involved in NFκB pathway regulation is unbalanced. This can be measured and explained by the identification of a cycle. This conclusion helps to understand more about the biology of this type of tumor.  相似文献

This paper presents an identification approach to time delays in single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) and multiple-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) systems. In an SDOF system, the impedance function of the delayed system is expressed by the system parameters, the feedback gain, and the time delay. The time delay can be treated as the "fre-quency"of the difference between the impedance function of the delayed system and that of the corresponding uncon-trolled system. Thus, it can be identified from the Fourier transform of the difference between the two impedance func-tions. In an MDOF system, the pseudo-impedance functions are defined. The relationships between the time delay and the pseudo-impedance functions of the delayed system and uncontrolled system are deduced. Similarly, the time delay can be identified from the Fourier transform of the difference between the two pseudo-impedance functions. The results of numerical examples and experimental tests show that the identification approach to keeps a relatively high accuracy.  相似文献

The transport of the coupled Brownian ratchets with two different kinds of time delays is investigated. The increase of the feedback delay reduces the transport with oscillations. While increasing the coupling delay increases the transport with some irregular oscillations and finally saturates to a constant for the large driving force.  相似文献

针对电梯群控调度过程中交通特性的不确定性,建立了包括最短候梯时间,最短乘梯时间和最少能耗的电梯群控系统的模型,提出了一种适应电梯群控性能需求的伪微分反馈控制算法,并对算法进行改进来达到更好的调度效果,最后进行仿真实验.仿真结果表明该方法与其他算法相比在电梯群控调度性能和交通模式的适应性方面有较大的改善。  相似文献

A two-component reaction-diffusion system modelling a class of spatially structured epidemic systems is considered. The system describes the spatial spread of infectious diseases mediated by environmental pollution. A relevant problem, related to the possible eradication of the epidemic, is the so called zero stabilization. In a series of papers, necessary conditions, and sufficient conditions of stabilizability have been obtained. It has been proved that it is possible to diminish exponentially the epidemic process in the whole habitat, just by reducing the concentration of the pollutant in a nonempty and sufficiently large subset of the spatial domain. The stabilizability with a feedback control of the harvesting type is related to the magnitude of the principal eigenvalue of a certain operator which is not selfadjoint. In this paper, we have proposed an approximating method for this principal eigenvalue. Further, we have faced the problem of finding the optimal position (by translation) of the support of the feedback stabilizing control in order to minimize both the infected population and the pollutant at a certain finite time.  相似文献

Secondary resonances of piezoelectric/elastic/piezoelectric sandwich beams submitted to active control are studied in this paper. The proportional and derivative nonlinear potential feedback controls via piezoelectric sensor and actuator layers are used. The dynamics of the beam is modelled by a highly nonlinear ordinary-differential equation. The method of multiple scales is applied and approximate solutions are obtained for hard excitations. Analytical frequency and phase-amplitude relationships as well as the time response are explicitly given for various super- and subharmonic resonances. Static and dynamic stability criteria are elaborated and critical displacement and excitation amplitudes associated to the resulting unstable zones are analytically given. The feedback parameters effects on the subharmonic and superharmonic resonances and on their stability are investigated.  相似文献

In the present paper, we investigate a reaction-diffusion system with feedback effect subject to the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition and study the positive steady-state solutions. We establish a priori estimates for positive steady-state solutions and derive some results for non-existence of positive non-constant steady-state solutions. 提出了一种大功率四极管调制器的嵌入式反馈控制系统的设计方法。该系统以DSP为控制核心,采用闭环反馈控制,开发了大功率四极管的高压端控制器,并在系统反馈信号传输中采用一种新的改进型VF光纤隔离传输方案,提高了反馈信号的传输速度。实验结果表明,该嵌入式反馈控制系统简化了HL-2A装置原有的系统,极大地提高了系统响应速度,改善了四极管输出性能,且工作可靠稳定。  相似文献
