We consider an artificial neural network where the signal transmission is of a digital (McCulloch-Pitts) nature and is delayed due to the finite switching speed of neurons (amplifiers). For a particular connection topology, we show that all solutions starting from nonoscillatory initial states will be eventually synchronized and stabilized at a unique limit cycle, and hence such a network can be used as a synchronized oscillator. 相似文献

the theory of infinitedimensional systems are used to pose an LQR-control problem for the structure. Different variations
of the structure are considered and, in particular, approximation schemes for two forms of the structure are presented in
detail. Responses of the system to an elastic initial condition are presented. It is shown that convergent state feedback
control laws can be obtained which result in significant suppression of vibrations and unwanted displacements throughout the

In this paper, the problems of passivity and passification of a class of linear time-delay systems are investigated. A new state-transformation is developed to exhibit the delay-dependence. It is established that the passivity condition can be cast in a linear matrix inequality (LMI) format. For state feedback passification, it is proven that it is indifferent to use instantaneous or delayed state-feedback. The case of dynamic output feedback passification is also treated.
