Global attractivity of a synchronized periodic orbit in a delayed network

We consider an artificial neural network where the signal transmission is of a digital (McCulloch-Pitts) nature and is delayed due to the finite switching speed of neurons (amplifiers). For a particular connection topology, we show that all solutions starting from nonoscillatory initial states will be eventually synchronized and stabilized at a unique limit cycle, and hence such a network can be used as a synchronized oscillator.

An LQR-control problem for a multicomponent flexible structure

This paper is concerned with modeling and control of a multicomponent distributed-parameter structure. General results from the theory of infinitedimensional systems are used to pose an LQR-control problem for the structure. Different variations of the structure are considered and, in particular, approximation schemes for two forms of the structure are presented in detail. Responses of the system to an elastic initial condition are presented. It is shown that convergent state feedback control laws can be obtained which result in significant suppression of vibrations and unwanted displacements throughout the structure.     

Passivity and passification of time-delay systems

In this paper, the problems of passivity and passification of a class of linear time-delay systems are investigated. A new state-transformation is developed to exhibit the delay-dependence. It is established that the passivity condition can be cast in a linear matrix inequality (LMI) format. For state feedback passification, it is proven that it is indifferent to use instantaneous or delayed state-feedback. The case of dynamic output feedback passification is also treated. Numerical examples are provided.     

LiNbO3无谐振腔式电光调制混合型光学双稳态实现条件的研究

本文简介以LiNbO₃为非线性介质,利用电光振幅调制特性实现了LiNbO₃晶体混合型光学双稳态,并在不同的条件下测试了不同的光学双稳态滞后回线和调制函数曲线,首次提出“调制函数曲线平移”问题的方法。用此一性质可将偏置电压调制为零省去偏置系统,利于系统集成,为实现无偏压双稳系统指明了方向。     

HL—1装置等离子体位置反馈控制

本文简述了用位移做反馈控制信号,用非线性二位调节器组合前馈环节,控制厚钢壳(厚度d=5cm)外的垂直场和水平场线圈电流,在HL-1装置上实现了等离子体位置反馈控制的情况。当铁芯不饱和时,在水平和垂直两个方向上均可控制等离子体位置在±2mm之内。     

Atmospheric-induced aberration correction using feedback interferometer

We present a practical adaptive optics system based on feedback interferometry. The system consists a polarizing radial-sheared Sagnac interferometer incorporating a multi-segmented mirror for wavefront correction. Correction of atmospheric aberration is demonstrated.     

Plasma Feedback Control System for HL-2A Tokamak

As the limit of time and budget etc, the control system of HL-2A just could be operated in programmed discharge when HL-2A was checked and accepted in 2002. Recent years, many subsystem of HL-2A have been improved in functions and performances. And the demand for experiment of HL-2A is becoming more and more higher in plasma discharge parameters. So it＇s necessary to develop a plasma feedback control system （ FBCS ） which has enough functions and good stability and reliability to satisfy the demand of experiment on HL-2A.
