The solution of elasticity problems involving the interaction between dislocations and cracks plays a fundamental role in many practical and theoretical applications. Although elasticity problems involving dislocation or cracks in quasi-crystals have been investigated in many papers, the analysis is limited to a single defect. This paper investigates the interaction of defects in one-dimensional hexagonal quasi-crystals using the complex variable function method. The interaction force between two parallel dislocations is presented and the analytic solutions of elastic fields of interaction between a dislocation and a crack are obtained. A version of the well-known Peach-Koehler formula in one-dimensional hexagonal quasi-crystals is given. 相似文献

The fundamental plastic nature of the quasicrystalline materials remains an open problem due to its essential complicacy.By developing the proposed generalized cohesive force model,the plastic deformation of crack in point group 10,10 decagonal quasicrystals is analysed strictly and systematically.The crack tip opening displacement(CTOD) and the size of the plastic zone around the crack tip are determined exactly.The quantity of the crack tip opening displacement can be used as a parameter of nonlinear fracture mechanics of quasicrystalline material.In addition,the present work may provide a way for the plastic analysis of quasicrystals. 相似文献

This paper develops the non-equilibrium statistical fatigue damage theory to study the statistical behaviour of micro-crack for metals in magnetic field. The one-dimensional homogeneous crack system is chosen for study. To investigate the effect caused by magnetic field on the statistical distribution of micro-crack in the system, the theoretical analysis on microcrack evolution equation, the average length of micro-crack, density distribution function of micro-crack and fatigue fracture probability have been performed. The derived results relate the changes of some quantities, such as average length, density distribution function and fatigue fracture probability, to the applied magnetic field, the magnetic and mechanical properties of metals. It gives a theoretical explanation on the change of fatigue damage due to magnetic fields observed by experiments, and presents an analytic approach on studying the fatigue damage of metal in magnetic field. 相似文献

By using the solutions of an auxiliary elliptic equation, a direct algebraic method is proposed to construct the exact solutions of nonlinear Schrfdinger type equations. It is shown that many exact periodic solutions of some nonlinear Schro^edinger type equations are explicitly obtained with the aid of symbolic computation, including corresponding envelope solitary and shock wave solutions. 相似文献
