In this paper a waveguide CO2 laser with two unequal long channels excited by radio frequency (RF) is presented. The volume is 2.25×2.25×400 mm3 for the long channel and 2.25×2.25×200 mm3 for the short waveguide channel. A tunable electrooptically Q-switched RF excited waveguide CO2 laser with two channels is presented. Q-switched pulses have been obtained from one of the channels. The peak power is 300 W and the pulse width is 140 ns. CW laser output has been obtained from the other channel, which can been tuned by a PZT. 对一台小型电激励连续波DF化学激光器进行了实验研究,在光轴位于喷管阵列出口平面下游10mm处和15mm处分别进行了出光实验,得到188.4W和205.8W的DF激光输出,输出激光波长为3.6~4.1μm,激光器的电效率分别为2.3%和2.5%。该小型电激励连续波DF化学激光器长时间(100s)运行的功率稳定性峰谷值和均方根值分别为±1.04%和0.49%,工作状态较为稳定,实验可重复性好,操作方便,是强光条件下镜片膜层吸收系数测量的适用红外激光光源。 相似文献

报道了一种基于主振荡功率放大结构的全光纤化1064 mm线偏振单频光纤放大器。种子源是一个线宽约为3 kHz的单频光纤激光器。输出功率为50 mW的种子激光经两级掺Yb保偏双包层光纤(光纤纤芯直径分别为10 μm和20 μm)和一级手性耦合纤芯增益光纤放大后,最终获得了输出功率138 W、光束质量M2≤1.2、偏振消光比优于18 dB的高功率单频光纤激光输出。在脉冲调制模式下,获得了峰值功率465 W、脉宽宽度约为500 μs的线偏振单频光纤激光输出。 相似文献

射频强度调制激光作为激光雷达系统的载波可以有效提高系统的抗干扰和抗散射能力,高功率宽带射频强度调制光源是实现高分辨率远距离探测的关键.本文采用在Nd:YAG激光器的耦合腔中插入一对四分之一波片的方法实现了频差调谐范围为30 MHz—1.5 GHz的双频激光输出,结合光纤振荡功率放大技术,将双频信号光功率放大为50 W.耦合腔双频种子源具有良好的功率和频率稳定性,输出功率为9.5 mW时,功率标准差为0.145 mW,稳定性为1.52%,输出双频激光的频差为250 MHz时,拍频的标准差为1.6144 MHz.种子光进行三级光纤功率放大,得到50 W双频激光输出.放大后的双频激光功率波动范围小于0.1 W,双频拍频的标准差为1.777 MHz,很好地保持了放大之前的功率稳定性和双频频差稳定性. 相似文献

We report an acoustic Q-switched Ho:YAG laser end-pumped by a 1,908 nm Tm:YLF laser. The doping concentration of Ho:YAG crystal is 2 at.%, and dimensions ø5×20 mm. We measure the pulsedlaser output characteristics of the Ho:YAG laser at different repetition rates (RF). Under optimum experimental conditions, the high-power 2.1 μm output power reaches 4.17 W at a given pump power of 13.25 W and repetition frequency of 8.0 kHz. For a slope efficiency of 16.88%, the corresponding optical-to-optical conversion efficiency reaches 31.47%. We obtain a minimum single pulsed energy of 7.36 mJ and a pulse width of 52.8 ns at a pump power of 10.52 W and repetition rate of 0.5 kHz, with a peak power of 139 kW. 相似文献

Our investigations demonstrated that utilizing copper bromide (CuBr) mixture as a source of Cu atoms in a RF-excited discharge
can be a promising alternative to the Cu sputtered system, when the development of Cu ion gas laser is considered. Both spectroscopic
and laser investigations showed that the threshold input power for lasing was reduced about 5 times using the CuBr-based system
instead of the Cu-sputtered system. Pulsed and CW laser oscillation on Cu+ transitions in the near IR spectral region was obtained in RF-excited He-CuBr discharge operated at 13.56 MHz and 27.12 MHz.
At input RF power of 800 W, a laser output power of 10 mW at the 780.8 nm Cu ion laser line was achieved. An increase of laser
output power by a factor of two, as well as better Cu vapour axial distribution and better discharge stability, was attained
when DC discharge was superimposed on the RF discharge. Laser gain on 11 UV Cu ion lines was observed in RF-excited Ne-CuBr
discharge. basing on the obtained results, we consider the CuBr laser system excited by RF discharge capable of generating
UV laser radiation at relatively low input power.

RF excited CO2 waveguide laser arrays with three different structures (one-dimension and two-dimension) are reported in this paper. The output character of far-field and near-field of those lasers have studies and the phase locking between the waveguide elements has discussed. The cavity length of waveguide laser array is 380 mm and the resonator is formed by placing a plane germanium coated gold mirror and a plane ZnSe output coupler. The laser is operated with filling static gas of He∶N2∶CO2∶Xe=3∶1∶1∶0.1 mixture at 1.06×104 Pa total pressure. High output power density is achieved and the output power is 30-w with an efficiency η=10%. The output power is limited by the maximum power of RF transmitter. 相似文献

为了确定一种同步三通道激光告警光学系统的有效孔径并估算截获能量,建立了激光辐照远场传输模型,仿真研究了远场光斑半径、单通道入瞳半径和通道间相对能量差之间的数值关系.仿真结果表明:各通道之间最大相对能量差与远场光斑中心能量密度的大小无关,在激光远场光斑边沿处各通道之间的相对能量差最大;最大相对能量差限定时,远场光斑半径越大,允许的单通道入瞳半径也越大,但相应系统截获的脉冲能量或脉冲功率却相对减小;最大能量差限定为1%,远场光斑半径分别为2.5 m,4.0 m和7.5 m时,允许的最大单通道入瞳半径分别为3 mm, 5 mm和10 mm,相应系统截获的最大脉冲能量为1.14×10-5 J,7.54×10-6 J和2.68×10-6 J,最大脉冲功率为1.63 W, 1.08 W和0.38 W. 相似文献

报道了基于半导体激光端面抽运Nd:YAG的4F3/2–4I13/2 跃迁的弱谱线多波长激光输出. 实验对比了透明陶瓷与单晶材料的激光输出特性, 表明透明陶瓷和单晶材料荧光谱强度的略微差异, 导致了多波长输出时相同两个波长之间的激光强度比在两种材料中的差异. 基于两种耦合输出镜片, 激光阈值都在2 W左右. 在13.5 W的抽运功率下, 基于Nd:YAG透明陶瓷获得了输出功率4.05 W、强度比1 :2的1338与1356 nm双波长激光和输出功率3.65 W、强度比13 : 1的1356与1414 nm 双波长激光, 斜率效率分别达33.9% 和31.9%. 相似文献

A compact sealed-off cryogenically cooled radio frequency (RF) discharge slab CO laser, operating in both first-overtone (FO) and fundamental band (FB), was launched. Repetitively pulsed and CW modes of RF discharge excitation were studied. Average FB output power was up to 12 W, with laser efficiency 14%. The multiline FB laser spectrum was observed within the wavelength range ∼5.1-5.4 μm. An optical scheme “frequency selective master oscillator - laser amplifier” was applied for getting FB tuning. Single line FB lasing with average power up to several tens of mW was observed on ∼100 FB vibrational-rotational transitions of CO molecule within the spectral range ∼5.0-6.5 μm. Multiline FO lasing was observed on ∼80 spectral lines within the spectral range ∼2.5-4.0 μm, with maximum single line average output power 12 mW. Total output power of the slab FO CO laser came up to 0.3 W, with maximum laser efficiency 0.5%. Results of parametric studies of the FB and FO slab CO laser including complicated time behavior for laser pulses on different FO vibrational-rotational transitions are discussed. 相似文献

报道了激光二极管端面抽运Tm,Ho:YLF固体激光器的输出特性.室温下,选用不同透过率的输出耦合镜进行了实验研究,确定了最佳输出耦合镜透过率为2%. 利用小孔扫描的方法,得到了激光远场的光强分布,证明激光为基横模输出,并且给出了热焦距随抽运功率的变化关系.通过在激光谐振腔内插入两个固体Fabry-Perot标准具的方法,获得了2μm激光的单频输出,阈值功率为250mW,在抽运功率为2.8W时,单频输出功率为118mW.此单频激光器可用作激光振荡器和激光放大器的种子源.
