We describe a Q-switched Er:GdVO4 laser resonantly pumped by a MgO-doped periodically poled LiNbO3 optical parametric oscillator (MgO: PPLN OPO) at 1536 nm. In continuous-wave lasing, the maximum output power is 1.14 W with an incident pump power of 4.7 W and a slope efficiency of 27%. In Q-switched operation, 1.1 mJ of output pulse energy is achieved at 200 Hz. The upper-state lifetime at different pulse repetition frequencies is also calculated. 相似文献

We demonstrate the continuous wave p-polarized single longitudinal mode (SLM) operation of an Er:YAG laser at 1617.6nm pumped by a diode-laser with three inserted Fabry-Perot (FP) etalons at room temperature. The Brewster angle inserted FP is applied to obtain the p-polarized laser. For free running, the maximum output power is 570 m W with a pump power of 12.5 W. An incident pump power of 12.5 W is used to generate the maximum p-polarized single longitudinal mode output power of 78.5 m W, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 1.6% and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 0.61%. The beam quality M2 is measured to be 1.15 at the highest SLM output power. This stable polarized SLM oscillation is encouraging due to its application for an injection-locked system used as a master laser. 相似文献

Ho∶YLF晶体的5I7和5I8斯塔克能级分裂数较多,形成2047~2070nm宽的增益谱带,对于可调谐2μm激光及宽带激光放大器研究具有重要意义。理论上分析了(Tm,Ho)∶YLF晶体的能级结构,并对晶体掺杂浓度和长度进行了优化。实验研究了激光二极管抽运微片Tm(原子数分数0.06),Ho(原子数分数0.004)∶YLF激光谱线可调谐特性,调谐范围2.0656~2.0671μm。利用(Tm,Ho)∶YLF晶体的宽增益谱特性,将其作为激光二极管抽运激光放大器,成功地将2.048μm(Tm,Ho)∶GdVO4激光功率放大了2.5倍。实验上测量了(Tm,Ho)∶YLF晶体在强抽运条件下480~492nm及530~550nm可见波段的上转换蓝绿光荧光谱。 相似文献

A diode laser (LD) clad-pumped narrow linewidth all-fiber Tm^3+-doped fiber laser is reported with a maximal output power of 27W at 1.947μm. By successively splicing an LD pigtail fiber, a single-mode Tm^3+-doped fiber, and a multi-mode Tm^3+-doped fiber, the fiber laser has 70pm narrow linewidth output, and a high slope efficiency of nearly 47.5% with respect to the launched pump power. The high reflectivity fiber Bragg gratings, which are directly written into the single-mode Tm^3+-doped fiber core by the 800nm femtosecond pulsed laser, act as the high reflectivity coupler. The output laser has diffraction-limited beam quality with a factor M^2 of 1.29, when the output laser power is nearly 27W. 相似文献

研究了激光二极管端面抽运Tm,Ho∶YLF连续激光器的输出特性,并对激光器的参数进行了优化.在考虑能量传递上转换的前提下,通过准三能级速率方程推导出了连续抽运Tm,Ho∶YLF激光器输出功率与抽运功率关系的表达式.对激光晶体的粒子掺杂浓度、晶体长度、激光束腰半径与抽运光束腰半径比值以及输出镜透过率等激光器参数进行了优化.实验上得到了激光输出功率随抽运功率的变化关系,并将其与理论结果进行了比较,发现比较吻合,从而验证了理论模型的合理性.

We report a high power and high efficiency double resonant ZnGeP2 (ZGP) optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser. We employ a Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser as the pump source operated at 2.049 μm with M^2 = 1.1. The ZGP OPO can generate a total combined output power of 14.1 W at 3.80μm signal and 4.45 μm idler under pumping power of 28. 7 W. The slope efficiency reaches 61.8%, and M^2 = 3.6 for OPO output is obtained. 相似文献

A cw high efficient Ho:YAI03 laser pumped by 1.91 μm diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser at room temperature is realized. The maximum output power reaches 8.5 W when the incident pump power is 15.6 W. The slope efficiency is 63.7%, and the Tm:YLF to Ho:YAP optical conversion efficiency is 54.5%. The laser wavelength is 2118.3nm when the transmission of output coupler is 30%.
