Hybrid control of bifurcation and chaos in stroboscopic model of Internet congestion control system 下载免费PDF全文
Interaction between transmission control protocol (TCP) and random
early detection (RED) gateway in the Internet congestion control
system has been modelled as a discrete-time dynamic system which
exhibits complex bifurcating and chaotic behaviours. In this paper, a
hybrid control strategy using both state feedback and parameter
perturbation is employed to control the bifurcation and stabilize the
chaotic orbits embedded in this discrete-time dynamic system of
TCP/RED. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations show that the
bifurcation is delayed and the chaotic orbits are stabilized to a
fixed point, which reliably achieves a stable average queue size in
an extended range of parameters and even completely eliminates the
chaotic behaviour in a particular range of parameters. Therefore it
is possible to decrease the sensitivity of RED to parameters. By
using the hybrid strategy, we may improve the stability and
performance of TCP/RED congestion control system significantly. 相似文献

State feedback controllers are designed to control the chaotic system to the unsteady equilibrium points and limit cycle. Theoretical analyses give the range of value of control parameters to stabilize the unsteady equilibrium points of the chaotic system and its critical parameter for generating Hopf bifurcation. Certain nP periodic orbits can be stabilized by parameter adjustment. In this paper, we investigate the problem of Hopf bifurcation and chaos control in a new chaotic system. A hybrid control strategy using both state feedback and parameter control is proposed. Theoretical analysis shows that the Hopf bifurcation critical value can be changed via hybrid control. Meanwhile, this control strategy can also control the chaos state. The direction and stability of bifurcating periodic solutions are determined by the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem. 针对一类受扰不确定离散非线性混沌系统,提出了基于免疫动态微粒群优化策略的ADRC与CMAC神经网络并行控制方法(ADRC-CMAC).ADRC控制器抑制系统扰动,保证系统的稳定性;CMAC神经网络控制器实现前馈控制保证系统的控制精度和响应速度.利用动态免疫微粒群算法对ADRC-CMAC并行控制器参数进行全局优化.实验结果表明该控制方法具有较快系统的响应速度,较好的抗干扰能力,控制精度高.

We present a control mechanism for tuning a fast-slow dynamical system undergoing a supercritical Hopf bifurcation to be in the canard regime, the tiny parameter window between small and large periodic behavior. Our control strategy uses continuous feedback control via a slow control variable to cause the system to drift on average toward canard orbits. We apply this to tune the FitzHugh-Nagumo model to produce maximal canard orbits. When the controller is improperly configured, periodic or chaotic mixed-mode oscillations are found. We also investigate the effects of noise on this control mechanism. Finally, we demonstrate that a sensor tuned in this way to operate near the canard regime can detect tiny changes in system parameters. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the Hopf bifurcation control of a modified Pan-like chaotic system. Based on the Routh-Hurwtiz theory and high-dimensional Hopf bifurcation theory, the existence and stability of the Hopf bifurcation depending on selected values of the system parameters are studied. The region of the stability for the Hopf bifurcation is investigated.By the hybrid control method, a nonlinear controller is designed for changing the Hopf bifurcation point and expanding the range of the stability. Discussions show that with the change of parameters of the controller, the Hopf bifurcation emerges at an expected location with predicted properties and the range of the Hopf bifurcation stability is expanded. In this paper, the stabilization of a continuous time-delayed system is considered. To control the bifurcation and chaos in a time-delayed system, a parameter perturbation control and a hybrid control are proposed. Then, to ensure the asymptotic stability of the system in the presence of unexpected system parameter changes, the adaptive control idea is introduced, i.e., the perturbation control parameter and the hybrid control parameter are automatically tuned according to the adaptation laws, respectively. The adaptation algorithms are constructed based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theorem. The adaptive parameter perturbation control and the adaptive hybrid control methods improve the corresponding constant control methods. They have the advantages of increased stability, adaptability to the changes of the system parameters, control cost saving, and simplicity. Numerical simulations for a well-known chaotic time-delayed system are performed to demonstrate the feasibility and superiority of the proposed control methods. Besides, comparison of the two adaptive control methods are made in an experimental study. 相似文献

This paper reports a new hyperchaotic system by adding an additional state variable into a three-dimensional chaotic dynamical system, studies some of its basic dynamical properties, such as the hyperchaotic attractor, Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation diagram and the hyperchaotic attractor evolving into periodic, quasi-periodic dynamical behaviours by varying parameter k. Furthermore, effective linear feedback control method is used to suppress hyperchaos to unstable equilibrium, periodic orbits and quasi-periodic orbits. This paper investigates an integrated freeway traffic management system, which coordinates both dynamic toll pricing and ramp control strategies for the purpose of dynamic freeway congestion management. The proposed integrated dynamic toll-ramp control methodology is built mainly on the principles of stochastic optimal control approaches, involving two developmental procedures. First, through detector configurations and system specification, a discrete-time nonlinear stochastic system is formulated to characterize the time-varying relationships of system states, control variables, and traffic data. Then, by employing the extended Kalman filtering technology, a stochastic optimal control based algorithm is proposed to execute the integrated dynamic toll and ramp control mechanism. With the aid of the Paramics microscopic traffic simulator, numerical studies under various simulated freeway congestion scenarios are conducted. Corresponding numerical results demonstrate the applicability of the proposed methodology in response to diverse freeway traffic congestion phenomena, and its relative advantages in improving both the average travel time and hourly throughputs by 16.4% and 16.5%, respectively. 相似文献

由于Buck变换器具有非线性特性, 在一定参数条件下, 它会处于混沌状态, 此时Buck变换器不能正常工作. 为了抑制Buck变换器的混沌现象, 本文首先建立了Buck变换器的精确状态方程模型, 然后通过分析可控范围图、开关逻辑图、相图、电感电流波形、输出电压波形, 研究了基于改善Buck变换器的电感电流与输出电压之间关联性的混沌控制策略. 研究结果表明: 该控制策略能够将处于混沌状态的Buck变换器稳定在周期1, 2, 4, 8轨道, 且该控制策略不需要预先确定期望的目标轨道, 不依赖于Buck变换器的电路参数, 只取决于一个外部参数即耦合强度, 所以该控制策略同样适用于其他 拓扑结构的功率变换器.

研究一类具有同宿轨道、异宿轨道的相对转动非线性动力系统的混沌运动. 建立具有非线性刚度、非线性阻尼和外扰激励作用的一类两质量相对转动非线性动力系统的动力学方程. 利用Melnikov方法讨论了系统的全局分岔和系统进入混沌状态的可能途径,给出了系统发生混沌的必要条件,并利用最大Lyapunov指数图,分岔图,Poincare截面图和相轨迹图进一步分析了系统的混沌行为.

This paper reports a new four-dimensional chaotic system consisting of an exponential nonlinear term, two quadratic nonlinear terms and five linear terms. The system has only one equilibrium and performs stability, periodicity and chaos with the variation of the parameters. It losses its stability with the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation and goes into chaos via period-doubling bifurcation. One more interesting feature of the system is that it can generate multiple coexisting attractors for different initial conditions, such as two strange attractors with one limit cycle, one strange attractor with two limit cycles, etc. The dynamic properties of the system are presented by numerical simulation includes bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponent spectrum and phase portraits. An electronic circuit is constructed to implement the chaotic attractor of the system. Based on the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) method, the synchronization control of the system is investigated. 相似文献

电力系统中的混沌振荡对整个互联电网具有极大危害.本文利用Lyapunov指数、分岔图、相平面图和功率谱等分析一个简单互联电力系统的动力学行为,研究电力系统对电磁功率扰动幅值的敏感性.同时,提出一种基于继电特性函数的准滑动模态控制方法,对系统进行混沌振荡抑制,使系统快速平滑地到达控制目标.实验表明,该方法不仅能够缩短控制时间,减少因参数过大带来的系统冲击,而且对高频抖动也有很好的抑制作用,具有较强的鲁棒性. 相似文献
