为探究Bragg光栅结构对TM模反馈特性的影响,利用有限时域差分法对具有TM模的分布反馈(DFB)量子级联激光器Bragg光栅结构进行仿真研究。重点分析了侧向耦合光栅的光学特性以及光栅侧壁倾角对光栅反射谱、损耗的影响及原因,并探究了光栅刻蚀深度及占空比与TM模的耦合系数、损耗的关系。结果表明有效折射率是影响Bragg波长的主要因素,而光限制因子是不同周期的侧向耦合光栅结构耦合系数产生巨大差别的原因,当光栅侧壁倾角90°时镜面损耗最小。光栅周期、占空比、刻蚀深度与耦合系数的关系表明:这些参数不仅影响光栅的相对介电常数,也会对光限制因子产生作用,从而影响耦合系数的大小;耦合系数与刻蚀深度具有正比关系,大周期光栅耦合系数随占空比的变化率较小。对光栅光反馈特性的理论研究有利于提升对DFB量子级联激光器的认识,促进激光器性能的提升和发展。 相似文献

受光栅制作工艺的影响,光栅参数的轻微偏移极易导致耦合系数偏离设计值从而影响分布式反馈(DFB)半导体激光器性能。通过微扰下的耦合模理论与数值仿真相结合的方式,对侧向非对称光栅的耦合系数特性进行了深入分析。当光栅宽度与脊型区宽度之比在一定范围内时,两个亚光栅之间非对称距离的引入使波导内的光场产生轻微偏移,光场的耦合状态发生改变。这有利于光栅的耦合系数稳定在一个合理的范围内,有效地缓解了占空比等参数对光栅耦合系数的影响,降低光栅工艺误差对DFB半导体激光器性能的影响;此时谐振腔内光子密度均匀分布,避免了常规光栅结构易引发的空间烧孔效应,有助于半导体激光器窄线宽激光的输出。本文工作将为侧向非同步耦合光栅的设计与应用提供理论参考。 相似文献

GeSi/Si异质结光波导是硅基光电集成(OEIC)领域一种重要的连接器件,研究其光的输入耦合,提高耦合效率有着重要的意义.通过分析导模-辐射模的耦合理论求得光栅耦合器的辐射损耗系数,设计分析了波导层厚度为2500 nm,入射波长为1300 nm的单模Ge0.05Si0.95/Si异质结波导光栅耦合器的周期、长度和槽深,得出从空气中输入角为75°(从衬底中入射角为16°)时,周期为0.512 μm,槽宽为0.256 μm,光栅长度为2.3 mm,从空气侧输入时耦合效率为22.5%,从衬底输入时耦合效率为46.3%,并对其输入、输出光场进行了数值模拟. 相似文献

根据耦合波理论,推导出轴对称渐变波导中, 考虑波导壁损耗时的多模传输时域耦合波方程组,并给出该方程组中各模式间耦合系数的具体表达式。据此编写了渐变波导中多模传输特性数值模拟程序。利用该程序计算了在THz波段圆波导中的模式衰减,在THz波段研究波导中的多模传输特性时,必须考虑波导壁的阻抗损耗影响。数值分析了直波导中的模式耦合问题,从而证实了波导壁有限电导率能产生模式耦合这一耦合机制。介绍了利用该程序数值分析波导耦合器和过渡器中多模传输特性的两个例子,利用该程序可对波导耦合器和过渡器中的多模传输特性进行数值模拟分析,进而对结构进行设计和优化。 相似文献

Based upon equivalent transmission line method, a perturbation analysis on the guiding properties of refractive-index gratings is presented. By numerical calculation, the leakage parameter which influences the leakage energy into the diffracted orders due to the grating scatter, is achieved as functions of the grating period, thickness of the waveguide and index modulation Δn. Our results reveal that, although the index modulation Δn is much less than that of the etched or deposited grating, refractive-index gratings can still reach a high leakage parameter because of the prominent increase of the grating height. 相似文献

本文用时域有限差分法对硅层等效厚度为100 nm的具有不同前后光栅周期的介质/金属双光栅结构薄膜太阳能电池进行了模拟分析,比较了三角形最佳相同与不同周期光栅结构的吸收光谱特性,分析了光栅高度、填充比、硅吸收层厚度对最佳相同和不同周期光栅结构光吸收特性的影响,以及相应结构中导致光吸收增强的共振模式.结果表明前后光栅周期为1:1的共形双光栅结构中存在光泄漏现象,偏离1:1后的光栅结构可有效地抑制低级次衍射光的泄漏,前光栅周期小于后光栅周期的结构光吸收性能的提高来自于平面波导模式在吸收层中的有效激发和传播,而前光栅周期大于后光栅周期的结构光吸收性能的提高则来自于后光栅界面上所激发的等离子体极化模式.在较厚的硅吸收层厚度,前后光栅周期比为1:2和1:3的电池结构也会出现光泄漏现象,从而使具有最大光吸收效率的结构偏离这些周期比结构的位置. 相似文献

基于香农采样定理和傅里叶频谱分析,通过模拟数字全息光栅的实验,对非同步采样数字全息图的一些基本问题进行了分析。模拟实验结果表明:全息图透射率函数中的低频调制现象随非同步采样光栅空间频率的增大而变得更明显;全息图再现过程中的频谱泄漏使再现波前发生高频起伏,其影响大小取决于非同步采样的偏离程度,与光栅本身的空间频率无关。另由数值模拟实验表明,频谱泄漏对再现波前的影响可通过数字全息图加窗切趾方法来抑制,以提高再现像质量。 相似文献

Based on an accurate perturbation analysis of the guiding properties of dielectric gratings, simple design criteria are developed
for grating couplers which transfer the energy of a beam into or out of an optical waveguide. Gratings having arbitrary groove
shapes are considered and explicit formulae are given for the leakage parameters of gratings with symmetric profiles. The
results cover TEv and TMv modes and they apply to both shallow and deep grating grooves. The variation of the leakage parameter α in rectangular gratings
is examined in detail; these rectangular gratings are then used as basic configurations for predicting the characteristics
of other grating profiles. Particular attention is given to trapezoidal and triangular profiles and gratings with asymmetric

We generate self-collimating surface plasmon beams in a doubly periodic plasmonic grating. The self-collimation effect is understood from the local anisotropy of the isofrequency surface of the grating in the vicinity of the bandgap. The properties of the beams are analyzed by leakage radiation microscopy and show to an unprecedented level significantly reduced diffraction as compared with plasmon beams propagating on a flat metal film. 相似文献

The leakage properties of a new dielectric grating leaky wave antenna are carefully examined by an approach of combining the
multimode network theory with the mode-matching method. A systematic comparison is given for the leaky characteristics of
the n = −1 space harmonic of TM mode polarization between the present antenna and the traditional one. It has been found that
the former is not only of lower conductor loss, but also of larger leakage constant than the latter. As a result, the dimension
of the antenna could be largely reduced, which is of practical significance for some applications. Extensive numerical results
of the radiation characteristics are given to establish useful guidelines for the design of the new grating antenna. Furthermore,
special features such as cancellation or resonance effects are high-lighted and discussed. Physical insights for the mathematical

Three grating couplers for diode-bars single-point and multi-point side-pumping double-clad fiber (DCF) are presented. The principles, characteristics and coupling efficiencies of these grating couplers are described and computed by a rigorous electromagnetic theory. We show computationally that the optimized gratings can couple the high-power TE- or TM-polarized pump lights with 94.7% and 79.7% into the DCF, respectively. For an un-polarized pump light, 72.4% efficiency can be reached. We also have analyzed the leakage of pump powers for diode-bars multi-point side-pumping DCF. Besides, the fabrication tolerances and other performances of the grating couplers are analyzed. 相似文献

Two-dimensional apodized grating couplers are proposed with grating grooves realized by a series of nanorectangles, with the feasibility of digital tailoring the equivalent refractive index of each groove in order to obtain the Gaussian output diffractive mode in order to enhance the coupling efficiency to the optical fiber. According to the requirement of leakage factor distribution for a Gaussian output profile, the corresponding effective refractive index of the grating groove, duty cycle, and period are designed according to the equivalent medium theory. The peak coupling efficiency of 93.1% at 1550 nm and 3 d B bandwidth of 82 nm are achieved. 相似文献
