本文中,我们证明了如下主要结果:Ⅰ 对于环R,下面条件是等价的:(1)R是Artin半单环;(2)R是左SF-环,且R满足特殊右零化于降链条件;(3)R是左SF-环和I-环,且R ̄R具有有限Goldie维数。Ⅱ对于环R,下面条件是等价的:(1)R是VonNeumann正则环;(2)R是左SF-环,且每个苛异循环左R-模的极大子模是平坦的。  相似文献

本文中讨论了一类比半局部环更广的环类,即G-半局部环,对G-半局部我们通过模去环的左Soche及Jacobson根,研究了环的同调维数,并得到Gd(R/S)=Gd(R/S∩J),式中的Gd表示环R的左整体维数或右整体维数,S=Soc(R^R)以及J是环R的Jacobson根,当R还时半本原环时,即得Gd(R/S)=Gd(R)。  相似文献

Abstract

Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring. There are several characterizations of Gorenstein rings in terms of classical homological dimensions of their modules. In this paper, we use Gorenstein dimensions (Gorenstein injective and Gorenstein flat dimension) to describe Gorenstein rings. Moreover a characterization of Gorenstein injective (resp. Gorenstein flat) modules over Gorenstein rings is given in terms of their Gorenstein flat (resp. Gorenstein injective) resolutions.  相似文献

In this article we present some results about bounded factorization rings (BFRs), i.e., commutative rings with the property that each nonzero nonunit has a bound on the length of its factorizations into nonunits. In their article Factorization in Commutative Rings with Zero Divisors, Anderson and Valdes-Leon conjectured that R[x], the polynomial ring over R, is a bounded factorization ring if and only if R is a BFR and 0 is primary in R. We give some conditions under which the conjecture is true and present a bounded factorization ring with 0 primary where the polynomial ring is not a BFR.  相似文献

Simple locally compact rings without open left ideals were considered in [13] and general locally compact rings without open left ideals were studied extensively in [5] and [6]. We remove the hypothesis of local compactness and consider topological rings A without open left ideals but containing an open subring R. In section 4 we show that under these conditions A is completely determined by R. More precisely A can be identified with the topological ring of quotients C(R) introduced in [8]. As an R-module RA is topologically isomorphic to I*(RR), the topological injective hull of RR. The last statement was proved in [6] for A locally compact and R compact. Section 5 gives a characterization of those linearly topologized rings R that can be openly embedded into a ring A without open left ideals. In particular we shall show that the open left ideals form an idempotent ideal filter with quotient ring A. In section 6 we consider the class ? of all topological rings that can be openly embedded into a topological ring without open left ideals. If we restrict our attention to linearly topologized rings, then ? is Morita-invariant. In section 2 we construct a topological ring of quotients Q*(R) and prove that it coincides with the ring C(R) of [8].  相似文献

Let R be a noetherian ring which is a finite module over its centre Z(R). This paper studies the consequences for R of the hypothesis that it is a maximal Cohen Macaulay Z(R)-module. A number of new results are proved, for example projectivity over regular commutative subrings and the direct sum decomposition into equicodimensional rings in the affine case, and old results are corrected or improved. The additional hypothesis of homological grade symmetry is proposed as the appropriate extra lever needed to extend the classical commutative homological hierarchy to this setting, and results are proved in support of this proposal. Some speculations are made in the final section about how to extend the definition of the Cohen-Macaulay property beyond those rings which are finite over their centres.  相似文献
