It is known that the simplest equation method is applied for finding exact solutions of autonomous nonlinear differential equations. In this paper we extend this method for finding exact solutions of non-autonomous nonlinear differential equations (DEs). We applied the generalized approach to look for exact special solutions of three Painlevé equations. As ODE of lower order than Painlevé equations the Riccati equation is taken. The obtained exact special solutions are expressed in terms of the special functions defined by linear ODEs of the second order.  相似文献

In this paper,the variable cofficient KdV equation with dissipative loss and nonuniformity terms and the variable coefficient SG equation with nonuniformity term are studied. We consider the generalized integrable fifth order nonlinear Korteweg-de Vries (fKdV) equation. The extended Tanh method has been used rigorously, by computational program MAPLE, for solving this fifth order nonlinear partial differential equation. The general solutions of the fKdV equation are formed considering an ansatz of the solution in terms of tanh. Then, in particular, some exact solutions are found for the two fifth order KdV-type equations given by the Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon equation and the another fifth order equation. The obtained solutions include solitary wave solution for both the two equations.  相似文献

The modified simple equation method is employed to find the exact solutions of the nonlinear Kolmogorov-Petrovskii-Piskunov (KPP) equation. When certain parameters of the equations are chosen to be special values, the solitary wave solutions are derived from the exact solutions. It is shown that the modified simple equation method provides an effective and powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

As to the posteriori error of spectral method for second order elliptic differential equation of variable coefficient,we construct two easy solvable differential equations of constant coefficient. In this paper, combining with a new generalized ansätz and the fractional Jacobi elliptic equation, an improved fractional Jacobi elliptic equation method is proposed for seeking exact solutions of space‐time fractional partial differential equations. The fractional derivative used here is the modified Riemann‐Liouville derivative. For illustrating the validity of this method, we apply it to solve the space‐time fractional Fokas equation and the the space‐time fractional BBM equation. As a result, some new general exact solutions expressed in various forms including the solitary wave solutions, the periodic wave solutions, and Jacobi elliptic functions solutions for the two equations are found with the aid of mathematical software Maple. Based on the simplest equation method, we propose exact and traveling-wave solutions for a nonlinear convection-diffusion-reaction equation with power law nonlinearity. Such equation can be considered as a generalization of the Fisher equation and other well-known convection-diffusion-reaction equations. Two important cases are considered. The case of density-independent diffusion and the case of density-dependent diffusion. When the parameters of the equation are constant, the Bernoulli equation is used as the simplest equation. This leads to new traveling-wave solutions. Moreover, some wavefront solutions can be derived from the traveling-wave ones. The case of time-dependent velocity in the convection term is studied also. We derive exact solutions of the equations by using the Riccati equation as simplest equation. The exact and traveling-wave solutions presented in this paper can be used to explain many biological and physical phenomena.  相似文献

We establish a connection between the fundamental solutions to some classes of linear nonstationary partial differential equations and the fundamental solutions to other nonstationary equations with fewer variables. In particular, reduction enables us to obtain exact formulas for the fundamental solutions of some spatial nonstationary equations of mathematical physics (for example, the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, the Kelvin-Voigt equation, etc.) from the available fundamental solutions to one-dimensional stationary equations.  相似文献

We obtain new formulas for the exact analytic solutions to the nonautonomous elliptic Liouville equation in the two-dimensional coordinate space with the free function dependent specially on an arbitrary harmonic function. We present new exact solutions to the wave Liouville equation with two arbitrary functions, providing original formulas for the general solution for the classical (autonomous) and wave Liouville equations. Some equivalence transformations are presented for the elliptic Liouville equation depending on conjugate harmonic functions. In particular, we indicate a transformation that reduces the equation under study to an autonomous form.  相似文献

With the aid of symbolic computation, auxiliary equation method is introduced to investigate modified forms of Camassa-Holm and Degasperis-Procesi equations. A series of new exact traveling wave solutions, including smooth solitary wave solution, peakons, singular solution, periodic wave solution, Jacobi elliptic solution, are obtained in general form. These new exact solutions will enrich previous results and help us further understand the physical structures of these two nonlinear equations.  相似文献

In this letter, a new Riccati equation expansion method is presented for constructing exact travelling-wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the solutions of the Riccati equation to construct exact travelling-wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. As a result, some more generalized solutions, which contain triangular periodic solutions, exp function solutions and the soliton-like solutions, are obtained.  相似文献

We extended the (G′/G)-expansion method to two well-known nonlinear differential-difference equations, the discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the Toda lattice equation, for constructing traveling wave solutions. Discrete soliton and periodic wave solutions with more arbitrary parameters, as well as discrete rational wave solutions, are revealed. It seems that the utilized method can provide highly accurate discrete exact solutions to NDDEs arising in applied mathematical and physical sciences.  相似文献

With the aid of computer symbolic computation system Maple, the generalized auxiliary equation method is first applied to two nonlinear evolution equations, namely, the nonlinear elastic rod equation and (2 + 1)‐dimensional Boiti‐Leon‐Pempinelli equation. As a results, some new types of exact traveling wave solutions are obtained which include bell and kink profile solitary wave solutions, and triangular periodic wave solutions and singular solutions. The method is straightforward and concise, and it can also be applied to other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
