A method analogous to the configuration interaction scheme, based on the complex molecular orbital (CMO) wavefunction as a zero-order approximation, is developed. The CMO pairing representation is employed to solve problems related to non-orthogonalities characteristic of the CMO method. This complex configuration mixing method may compete with present theories of electronic correlation in molecules.  相似文献

CaMoO4 (CMO) disordered and ordered thin films were prepared by the complex polymerization method (CPM). The films were annealed at different temperatures and time in a conventional resistive furnace (RF) and in a microwave (MW) oven. The microstructure and surface morphology of the structure were monitored by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (HRSEM). Order and disorder were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical reflectance. A strong photoluminescence (PL) emission was observed in the disordered thin films and was attributed to complex cluster vacancies. The experimental results were compared with density functional and Hartree-Fock calculations.  相似文献

Fabrication of an efficient, stable, and versatile photocatalysts for the energy and environment remediation applications is an urgent task for the current researchers. In this work, we have successfully synthesized a versatile hybrid photocatalysts, i.e.; CdMoO4/g-C3N4 (CMO/CN) by a facile and simple one-pot in-situ hydrothermal method. Here CdMoO4 (CMO) microspheres were deposited on the g-C3N4 (CN) sheets. Fabricated CN, CMO, and CMO/CN composite photocatalysts were analyzed with various characterization techniques like UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectra (UV–Vis DRS), photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL), time-resolved fluorescence lifetime (TRFL), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning electron microscopy–energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (SEM-EDX), transmission electron microscope (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET). The results reveal that the formation of a strong heterojunction between two semiconductors leads to the formation of active photocatalyst. Furthermore, as-synthesized materials were tested for the photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) oxygen evolution reactions (OERs) in acidic medium, and photocatalytic (PC) degradation of methylene blue (MB) under light irradiation. Among all tested samples, CMO/CN-10 has shown the highest current density 52.74 mA cm?2 at 1.95 V with lowest over potential of 0.70 mV on glassy carbon electrode for OER in acidic medium under the light irradiation. The PC degradation rate constant of CMO/CN-10 composite in MB solution is k = 2.0 × 10?2 min?1, whereas for the pure CMO and CN degradation rate constant is k = 5.7 × 10?3 min?1 and k = 1.2 × 10?2 min?1, respectively. This enhancement in PEC and PC properties is due to the fast migration of photo-induced electrons in the case of CMO/CN-10 nanocomposite. Trapping experiment results reveal the major reactive species for PC degradation of MB is ?OH (hydroxyl radicals) and h+ (holes), respectively, and suitable PC reaction mechanism also proposed for CMO/CN-10 composites. Based on the above remarkable results, it would be a potential nanocomposite for the PEC oxygen evolution and PC degradation of MB under light illumination.  相似文献

Numerical results for the ground state of the HN 2 + and HCO+ molecular ions at their near equilibrium geometry, obtained by the complex molecular orbitals (CMO) method in the extended basis set, are reported. The CMO wavefunction of the HN 2 + ion is compared with the CI wavefunction obtained in the same basis set. This reveals the nature of approximations inherent in the CMO method. The topological properties of the electron density and the properties of an atom in a molecule are calculated by means of second-order Møller-Plesset perturbation theory (MP2) and compared with the results of configuration interaction calculations (C12) which include all single and double substitutions from the Hartree-Fock reference configuration. A software package for analyzing the effects of electron correlation on the topological properties of the electron density of molecules is described. H2CO is used to provide a numerical example and to indicate that the number of bond critical points is unaffected by the inclusion of electron correlation. Correlation leads to only a small shift in the positions of bond critical points and a small change in the electron density at bond critical points. It is further shown that the energy of an atom in a molecule can be calculated to an accuracy of 1 kcal/mol and the electron population of an atom to about 0.001e. A statistical method is used to show that the deviation of the MP2 correlation correction relative to the CI2 correlation correction for a variety of atomic properties is about 25%.  相似文献

在6-311+G^*基组水平上用CISD(configurationinteractionwithsinglyanddoublyexcitedconfigurations)方法研究HX(X=Li-F,HBe)体系电子对内、对间的相关能。计算结果表明不同元素形成的HX(X=Li-F,HBe^+,HBe)体系,其价层电子对内、对间相关能的变化较大,它们之间存在着轨道差别,不宜将其相关贡献归为简单的常数。在使用相同理论方法和相同质量基组的前提下,电子数将直接影响到电子对间相关能的大小。对于多电子体系,电子对间相关在总相关中占有优势,若将其忽略会引起较大误差。  相似文献

Electron localizability indicators based on the same-spin electron pair density and the opposite-spin electron pair density are studied for correlated wavefunctions of the argon atom. Different basis sets and reference spaces are used for the multireference configuration interaction method following the complete active space calculations aiming at the understanding of the effect of local electron correlation when approaching the exact wavefunction. Co‐B amorphous alloy catalysts supported on three kinds of mesoporous silica (common SiO2, MCM‐41 and SBA‐15) have been systematically studied focusing on the effect of pore structure on the catalytic properties in liquid‐phase hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde to cinnamyl alcohol (CMO). Structural characterization of a series of different catalysts was performed by means of N2 adsorption, X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, hydrogen chemisorption, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Various characterizations revealed that the pore structure of supports profoundly influenced the particle size, location and dispersion degree of Co‐B amorphous alloys. Co‐B/SBA‐15 was found more active and selective to CMO than either Co‐B/SiO2 or Co‐B/MCM‐41. The superior catalytic activity could be attributed to the higher active surface area, because most of Co‐B nanoparticles in Co‐B/SBA‐15 were located in the ordered pore channels of SBA‐15 rather than on the external surface as found in Co‐B/SiO2 and Co‐B/MCM‐41. Meanwhile, the geometrical confinement effect of the ordered mesoporous structure of SBA‐15 was considered to be responsible for the enhanced selectivity to CMO on Co‐B/SBA‐15, inhibiting the further hydrogenation of CMO to hydrocinnamyl alcohol.  相似文献

A study of X-ray and fast electron scattering by light atoms and ions has been carried out in the first Born approximation. Coherent and incoherent scattering factors calculated with configuration interaction wave functions are compared with those obtained with Hartree–Fock wave functions. These configuration interaction wave functions involve only L-shell correlation. It is shown that the changes in the coherent scattering factors due to configuration interaction are not negligible and that the electron correlation effects on the incoherent scattering factors are important. Tables of coherent and incoherent scattering factors for light atomic systems are given.  相似文献

There has been substantial progress in the development of electron correlation methods with some benefits and drawbacks. In this paper, we give a review of electron correlation effects on many body particles system. We focus more on atoms and molecules rather than solid state and take into account single reference case only. We mainly discuss perturbation theory, coupled electron many electron theory and a few versions of coupled electron pair approximations with comparison configuration interaction and some coupled cluster methods in which coupled cluster method is crucially important for the crystalline solids, the electron gas and the heat of the reaction. We also show some results, reported by several authors, to fairly compare and judge the methods’ feasibility mentioned above.   相似文献

用从头算方法对四氯化苯醌-二苯撑体系分子间相互作用进行了理论计算研究.用MP2/6-31G**方法,分别优化电子给体二苯撑,受体四氯化苯醌的稳定构型,用同样的方法优化配合物的层间距得到其最稳定构型,并计算了BSSE校正后的电子给受体配合物的稳定化能.用CIS/6-31++G**方法,计算了给体、受体及配合物的电子激发态.理论计算验证了给体和受体间能形成稳定的电子给受体配合物,该配合物受光激发能直接产生电荷转移态.在球孔穴近似和点偶极近似下,对电荷转移吸收的理论计算结果进行了非平衡溶剂化能校正.经非平衡溶剂化能校正的电荷转移跃迁能与实验值符合较好.  相似文献

用量子化学 P M3 方法优化了 N, N二( N亚甲基2吡咯烷酮) 甘氨酸( C12 H19 N3 O4) 分子的顺式和反式两种构型;计算了分子的电离能、电子亲合能、电荷密度和前线轨道,并研究了该分子的配位性能。结果表明标题化合物稳定,顺式构型分子内有氢键,反式则没有。 P M3 计算的标题化合物顺式构型几何参数与实验测定结果一致,顺式构型能与希土金属离子形成稳定的配合物。  相似文献

A selected multireference configuration interaction (CI) method and the corresponding code are presented. It is based on a procedure of localization that permits to obtain well localized occupied and virtual orbitals. Due to the local character of the electron correlation, using local orbitals allows one to neglect long range interactions. In a first step, three topological matrices are constructed, which determine whether two orbitals must be considered as interacting or not. Two of them concern the truncation of the determinant basis, one for occupied/virtual, the second one for dispersive interactions. The third one concerns the truncation of the list of two electron integrals. This approach permits a fine analysis of each kind of approximation and induces a huge reduction of the CI size and of the computational time. The procedure is tested on linear polyene aldehyde chains, dissociation potential energy curve, and reaction energy of a pesticide-Ca(2+) complex and finally on transition energies of a large iron system presenting a light-induced excited spin-state trapping effect.  相似文献

Ab initio electronic structure calculations of a relatively large number of Rydberg states of the CH radical were carried out employing the multireference single and double excitation configuration interaction (MRD-CI) method. A Gaussian basis set of cc-pV5Z quality augmented with 12 diffuse functions was used together with an extensive treatment of electron correlation. The main focus of this contribution is to investigate the 3d Rydberg complex assigned by Watson [Astrophys. J. 555, 472 (2001)] to three unidentified interstellar bands. The authors' calculations reproduce quite well the absolute excitation energies of the three components of the 3d complex, i.e., 2Sigma+(3dsigma), 2Pi(3dpi), and 2Delta(3ddelta), but not the energy ordering inferred from a rotational assignment of the 3d<--X 2Pi laboratory spectrum. The computation of the 4d complex is reported for the first time along with a number of other higher lying Rydberg species with an X 1Sigma+ core. The lowest Rydberg states belonging to series converging to the a 3Pi and A 1Pi excited states of CH+ are also calculated.  相似文献

本文首次报道Co-B非晶态合金催化剂应用于肉桂醛(CMA)液相选择性加氢制备肉桂醇(CMO),考察了催化活性、CMO选择性及其得率以及不同湿度预处理的影响。实验发现,Co-B非晶态合金催化剂的催化活性和对CMO的选择性显著优于Raney Co等催化剂,加热晶化后导致其催化活性显著下降而对CMO的选择性略有升高,根据XRD,SEM,XPS,BET等一系列的表征,初步讲座了Co-B催化剂催化性能与催化剂结构的关系。  相似文献

The torsion disclosure of the chelate ring of lithium malonodialdehynate in its ground and excited states was investigated using the ab initiomethod with regard to the configuration interaction. The geometry of the complex was optimized to improve the evaluation of the torsion barrier and the chelate ring disclosure energy. It was shown that the electron excitation reduces the torsion barrier (up to 40%) and the metal cycle disclosure energy. The composition of the excited state wavefunction of the complex was found to change under the torsion. Changes in electron density in investigated states of the complex with bi- and monodentate coordination of the ligand and with the geometry corresponding to the torsion barrier were analyzed.  相似文献
