A pilot experiment for mass measurement at CSRe   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
A pilot experiment of mass measurement was performed at CSRe with the method of isochronous mass spectrometry. The secondary fragments produced via RIBLL2 with the primary beam of 400 MeV/u ^36Ar delivered by CSRm were injected into CSRe. The revolution periods of the stored ions,which depend on the mass-to-charge ratios of the stored ions,were measured with a time-of-flight detector system. The results show that the mass resolution around 8×10^-6 for △m/m is achieved.  相似文献

A resonant Schottky pickup with high sensitivity, built by GSI, will be used for nuclear mass and lifetime measurement at CSRe. The basic concepts of Schottky noise signals, a brief introduction of the geometry of the detector, the transient response of the detector, and MAFIA simulated and perturbation measured results of characteristics are presented in this paper. The resonant frequency of the pickup is about 243 MHz and can be slightly changed at a range of 3 MHz. The unloaded quality factor is about 1072 and the shunt impedance is 76 kΩ. The measured results of the characteristics are in agreement with the MAFIA simulations.  相似文献

A knockout reaction induced by 6He at 61.2 MeV/u was carried out at the HIRFL-RIBLL radioactive beam line. The α core fragments at forward angles were detected in coincidence with the recoiled protons at large angles. From this coincident measurement the valence nucleon knockout mechanism and the core knockout mechanism can be separated according to the polar angle correlation between the core fragments and the recoiled protons. It is demonstrated that, when reconstructing the resonant state of a weakly bound nucleus, the contamination resulting from the core knockout mechanism should be eliminated in order to obtain the correct structure information.  相似文献

 介绍了Schottky信号的产生原理。研制了CSRe的Schottky束流诊断系统,该系统由一对平行的Schottky电极板、四分之一波螺旋谐振腔、低噪声放大器及数据获取系统组成。利用能量为481.88 MeV/u的78Kr36+束流对Schottky束流诊断系统进行灵敏度测试。结果表明该系统能够测量流强大于82 nA的束流。  相似文献

The Isochronous Mass Spectrometry is a high accurate mass spectrometer. A secondary electrons time detector has been developed and used for mass measurements. Secondary electrons from a thin carbon foil are accelerated by an electric field and deflected 180°by a magnetic field onto a micro-channel plate. The time detector has been tested with alpha particles and a time resolution of 197 ps (FWHM) was obtained in the laboratory. A mass resolution around 8×10^-6 for Am/m was achieved by using this time detector in a pilot mass measurement experiment.  相似文献

实验通过17F+p共振弹性散射研究了复合核18Ne激发态中与天体核反应14O(α, p)17F相关的共振态性质。利用兰州放射性束流线(RIBLL)对弹核碎裂反应产生的放射性束17F进行了分离和提纯。经过降能后,能量为4.22 AMeV 的17F束流轰击在T2终端的厚氢靶(CH2)n上。 两套∆E-E Si探测器望远镜放置在两个不同的探测角度θlab≈2.3°和14°上,对反冲质子的角度和能量进行了测量。实验观测到了复合核18Ne的几条质子共振能级。通过R-Matrix理论程序对激发函数进行拟合,得到了共振态的能量、 自旋、 宇称和衰变宽度等共振参数。Resonant properties in18Ne relevant to the stellar reaction of 14O(α, p)17F have been investigated through a resonant elastic scattering of 17F+p. The 17F RI beam was produced via a projectile fragmentation reaction, and subsequently separated and purified by Radioactive Ion beam Line in Lanzhou(RIBLL). After a series of energy degradation,a 4.22 AMeV 17F beam bombarded a thick(CH2)ntarget at T2 terminal. Energy and angle of the recoiled protons were measured by two sets of ∆E-E silicon telescope at θlab≈2.3°,14° respectively. Several resonances in 18Ne were observed,and their resonant parametersincluding energy,spin parity and decay width have been determined by an R-Matrix analysis of the experimental excitation function.  相似文献

A prototype of time-of-flight positron emission computed tomography (TOF-PET) has been developed for acquiring the coincident detection of 511 keV γ-rays produced from positron annihilation. It consists of two 80.5 mm×80.5 mm LYSO scintillator arrays (composed of 35×35 pixel finger crystals) with the position sensitive photomultiplier tubes R2487 as the readout. Each array is composed of 2 mm×2 mm×15 mm finger crystals and the average pixel pitch is 2.30 mm. The measured results indicate that the TOF information has the potential to significantly enhance the image quality by improving the noise variance in the image reconstruction. The best spatial resolution (FWHM) of the prototype for the pairs of 511 keV γ-rays is 1.98 mm and 2.16 mm in the x and y directions, respectively, which are smaller than the average pixel pitch of 2.30 mm.  相似文献
