The structures and electronic properties of the gaseous M\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} Pt\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} \begin{document}$ ^{0/-} $\end{document} clusters (M represents the alkaline earth metal) were investigated using the density functional theory (B3LYP and PBE0) and wave function theory (SCS-MP2, CCSD and CCSD (T)). The results indicate that the D\begin{document}$ _{2{h}} $\end{document} isomers with the planar structures are more stable than the C\begin{document}$ _{2v} $\end{document} isomers with smaller dihedral angles and shorter Pt-Pt bond lengths. The mutual competition of M(s, p)-Pt(5d) interaction and Pt-Pt covalent bonding contributes to the different stabilizations of the two kinds of isomers. The M(s, p)-Pt(5d) interaction favors the planar isomers with D\begin{document}$ _{2h} $\end{document} symmetry, while the Pt-Pt covalent bonding leads to the C\begin{document}$ _{2v} $\end{document} isomers with bending structures. Two different crossing points are determined in the potential energy curves of Be\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} Pt\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} with the singlet and triplet states. But there is just one crossing point in potential energy curves of Ra\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} Pt\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} and Ca\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} Pt\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} \begin{document}$ ^- $\end{document} because of flatter potential energy curves of Ra\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} Pt\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} with the triplet state or Ca\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} Pt\begin{document}$ _2 $\end{document} \begin{document}$ ^- $\end{document} with quartet state. The results reveal a unique example of dihedral angle-bending isomers with the smallest number of atoms and may help the understanding of the bonding properties of other potential angle-bending isomers. 相似文献

In this work a new membrane electrode based on Pt-coated Nafion membrane was fabricated. Chemical deposition process was used to coat platinum on Nafion 117 membrane and then Pt-coated Nafion membrane was hot pressed on gas diffusion layer (GDL) to make new membrane electrode. The electrochemical and chemical studies of the Pt-coated Nafions were investigated by electrochemical techniques, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The electrochemical results indicated that as the concentration of H2PtCl6 increased, the oxygen reduction reaction rate increased until the concentration was reached where the reduction reaction was limited by the problem of mass transport. The electrochemical results for oxygen reduction reaction showed that the new electrode which prepared by plating Nafion membrane with 0.06 M H2PtCl6 in electroless plating solution, has a higher performance than other electrodes. The XRD results showed that the average platinum particle size of the best sample was about 3 nm. The loading of platinum for this electrode was 0.153 mg cm−2. 相似文献

Diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) derivatives bearing 2-pyridyl groups were synthesized, which could serve as anionic N,N′-chelate ligands consisting of two nitrogen atoms of the lactam moieties and the pyridyl groups. Coordination of the DPP ligand to boron and platinum yielded the corresponding DPP complexes. Their crystal structures exhibited coplanar structures between the DPP core and the 2-pyridyl groups, which indicated extended π-conjugation. The maximum absorption wavelength of the DPP complexes was longer than that of the corresponding DPP ligands. The choice of the introduced element affects the optical properties of the DPP complexes; the platinum complex has a longer absorption wavelength than the boron complex. The theoretical calculation revealed that these absorptions can be attributed to the π–π* transition. The introduction of the coordinating elements predominantly lowers the band gap. In addition, the substituent on the 2-pyridyl group can also modulate the energy levels. 相似文献

A method for the aerobic oxidation of cyclopentane-1,2-diols to the corresponding diketones over a commercial heterogeneous Pt/C catalyst is described. Unsubstituted and 3- or 4-substituted cyclopentane-1,2-diols are oxidized to 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds in good yields under the reported optimized reaction conditions (atmospheric air, 1 mol % of catalyst, 1 equiv of LiOH, aqueous solvents and 60 °C temperature). While gem-dichloromethyl groups can be directly synthesized by the mono-dechlorination of the corresponding trichloromethyl groups, the suppression control of the over-reduction to form chloromethyl or methyl functionalities is quite difficult. We have established the efficient and widely applicable mono-dechlorination method of the trichloromethyl groups to form the corresponding gem-dichloromethyl groups using platinum on carbon in dimethylacetamide as a specific solvent at 25 °C under a hydrogen atmosphere. The mono-dechlorination of the α,α,α-trichloromethylcarbonyl groups smoothly proceeded by the use of platinum on carbon as a catalyst in a highly chemoselective manner, while the efficient mono-dechlorination of the alkyl- and aryl-trichloromethyl groups required the combined use of Bu3SnH. 相似文献

The electrocatalytic activity of platinum for hydrogen oxidation in 0.01 M H2SO4 + 0.1 MNa2SO4 solution has been investigated by scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) technique. The cyclic voltammogram (CV), approach curve, area scan imaging and chronoamperometric methods have been used. The results indicate that the imaging capability of the SECM feedback mode can be used more efficiently to visually identify materials' electrocatalytic activity, compared with the approach curve method for identification of the conductive or insulating nature of a surface. The SECM imaging method has demonstrated the effects of Pt substrate potential on the electrocatalytic oxidation of hydrogen under a constant tip potential. It is found that the more positive the Pt substrate potential, the lower the electrocatalytic activity of the Pt. Furthermore, the chronoamperometric results support the variation of the electrocatalytic activity with the Pt substrate potential as well. 相似文献

We report new chiral bisimidazolium salts synthesized from naturally occurring l-amino acids. They served as precursors for bidentate N-heterocyclic carbene metal complexes. The chiral imidazoles could be synthesized in good yields via a one-pot ring closing reaction, followed by esterification. The methylene bridged bisimidazolium iodide salts are accessible in moderate yields. Corresponding palladium(II)- and platinum(II)-NHC complexes could be synthesized and fully characterized, but do not show optical activity.
