The electrical properties of CeNbO4+δ have been investigated at 1073–1223 K in the oxygen partial pressure range 10− 17 to 0.36 atm. The conductivity and Seebeck coefficient behaviour indicates that, at oxygen chemical potentials close to atmospheric, tetragonal CeNbO4+δ possesses a mixed ionic and p-type electronic conductivity. The ion transference numbers under the p(O2) gradient of 0.93/0.21 atm, measured by the modified e.m.f. technique, are close to 0.4 decreasing in more reducing environments. The variations of partial ionic and electronic conductivities can be described in terms of the oxygen intercalation into the scheelite-type lattice, which results in increasing concentrations of both dominant charge carriers, oxygen interstitials and holes, when p(O2) increases. Reduction leads to p(O2)-independent electrical properties, followed by a drastic decrease in the conductivity at oxygen pressures below 10− 15–10− 9 atm due to a reversible transition into the monoclinic phase. Contrary to the zircon-type CeVO4±δ, no traces of the parent binary oxides were detected in the reduced cerium niobate. 相似文献

The non-resonant third-order non-linear optical properties of amorphous Ge20As25Se55 films were studied experimentally by the method of the femtosecond optical heterodyne detection of optical Kerr effect. The real and imaginary parts of complex third-order optical non-linearity could be effectively separated and their values and signs could be also determined, which were 6.6 × 10−12 and −2.4 × 10−12 esu, respectively. Amorphous Ge20As25Se55 films showed a very fast response in the range of 200 fs under ultrafast excitation. The ultrafast response and large third-order non-linearity are attributed to the ultrafast distortion of the electron orbitals surrounding the average positions of the nucleus of Ge, As and Se atoms. The high third-order susceptibility and a fast response time of amorphous Ge20As25Se55 films makes it a promising material for application in advanced techniques especially in optical switching. 相似文献

The conformational transition of a new glycoconjugate, tea glycoconjugate (TGC), was investigated by spectroscopy techniques including circular dichroism (CD) and ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy. The solution behaviors of TGC in the mediums of different temperature, pH value, and ions were compared. Results showed that the native conformation of TGC was partially ordered. The CD value and UV absorbance of TGC altered with the change of pH value, temperature, the addition of ions, and also accompanied order-disorder transition. Especially the conditions with temperature higher than the glass transition temperature (Tg=62℃), higher pH value or lower pH value will have the most impact on the conformation of TGC, which will destroy the hydrogen bonds between the TGC molecules. The results indicated that the outside factors play important roles on the stability of the conformation of TGC. 相似文献

A novel hydrothermal process for preparation of single-phase pseudoboehmite from supersaturated sodium aluminate solution with SB pseudoboehmite seed was presented. The process is characterized by precipitation for 3 h at temperature around 125 ℃ with a seed ratio of 1.0. Precipitation yield of Al2O3 over 20% could be reached and the specific surface area of precipitated products almost as high as SB seed could be obtained. The process suitable for preparing pseudoboehmite with any pseudoboehmite seed in principle comprises a highly variation of the current Bayer process and the latest boehmite process for the production of smelter grade alumina. 相似文献
