This paper investigates the singular optics of nonparaxial light beams in the near field when the light behaves as a tractor beam. New insights into the optical pulling force, which is usually represented by integrating the stress tensor at a black box enclosing the object, are interpreted by the optical singularity of the Poynting vector. The negative nonconservative pulling force originates from the transfer of the azimuthal Poynting vector to the longitudinal component partly owing to the presence of a scatterer. The separatrice pattern and singularity shifts of the Poynting vector unanimously exhibit a differentiable near‐field distribution in the presence of optical pulling force. A new method is established to calculate the near‐field optical force using the differential Poynting vector in the far field. The results obtained provide a clear physical interpretation of the light–matter interaction and manifest the significance of singular optics in manipulating objects.
ZnO film-based ultraviolet (UV) detector was fabricated by photoassisted peak force tunnel atomic force (PFTUNA) on fluorine tin oxide (FTO) substrate. The PFTUNA current in dark and in UV light was ~0.1 and 2.0 nA, respectively. The UV sensitivity (photocurrent/dark current) is more than 20. The response time and the recovery time are ~0.12 and 0.32 s, respectively. The UV sensing mechanism is that the holes will transport to the ZnO surface to capture the adsorbed oxygen ions to weaken the depletion layer under UV illumination. The PFTUNA current between the tip and the ZnO film is consistent with the Richardson–Schottky (RS) thermionic emission model. 相似文献
In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, developing flame retardants from bio-based resources has aroused extensive interest in recent years. In this work, we utilized furfural(biomass) and 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide(DOPO) to synthesize a biobased co-curing agent(FGD) to combine with 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl methane(DDM) for obtaining a low-phosphorus loading flame-retardant epoxy thermosets. The introduction of FGD decreased the activation energy of the curing progress, enhanced the mechanical properties of the epoxy thermosets, and did not affect the glass transition temperature of the epoxy thermosets. EP-5.0 had a lower thermal degradation rate and a doubled char yield compared with EP-0. The phosphorus content of EP-5.0 was only 0.45 wt%, while EP-5.0 reached the UL-94 V-0 rating with a high LOI value of 32%. Compared with EP-0, the PHRR of EP-2.5 and EP-5.0 decreased by 22.3% and 31.3%, respectively. The SEM results showed that the addition of FGD made the char residues more uniform and denser, which could effectively prevent combustible volatiles from escaping from the degradation area to the flame area and isolate the heat transfer so that the epoxy thermosets had an excellent flame-retardant performance. 相似文献

A selenium-functionalizedε-caprolactone was synthesized by introducing a phenyl selenide group at the 7-position.A polymer was obtained through the ring-opening polymerization of this monomer in a base/thiourea binary organocatalytic system.A living polymerization process was achieved under mild conditions. The resulting polymers had a controlled molecular weight with a narrow molecular weight distributions and high end-group fidelity.Random copolymers could be obtained by copolymerizing this monomer withε-caprolactone.The thermal degradation temperature of the obtained copolymers decreased with the increasing molar ratio of selenide functionalized monomer in copolymers, while the glass transition temperature increased. In addition, the phenyl selenide side group could be further modified to a polyselenonium salt, which resulted in a polymer with good antibacterial properties. The survival rate of E.coli and S.aureus was only 9%with a polymer concentration of 62.5μg/mL. 相似文献
Stereocomplex (SC) crystallization has been an effective way to improve the physical performances of stereoregular polymers. However, the competition between homo and SC crystallizations can lead to more complicated crystallization kinetics and polymorphic crystalline structure in stereocomplexable polymers, which influences the physical properties of obtained materials. Herein, we select the medium-molecular-weight (MMW) poly(L-lactic acid)/poly(D-lactic acid) (PLLA/PDLA) asymmetric blends with different PDLA fractions (fD=0.01–0.5) as the model system and investigate the effects of fD and crystallization temperature (Tc) on the crystallization kinetics and polymorphic crystalline structure. We observe the fractionated (i.e., multistep) crystallization kinetics and the formation of peculiar β-form homocrystals (HCs) in the asymmetric blends under quiescent conditions, which are strongly influenced by both fD and Tc. Precisely, crystallization of β-form HCs is favorable in the MMW PLLA/PDLA blends with high fD (≥0.2) at a low Tc (80–100 °C). It is proposed that the formation of metastable β-form HCs is attributed to the conformational matching between β-form HCs and SCs, and the stronger constrain effects of precedingly-formed SCs in the early stage of crystallization. Such effects can also cause the multistep crystallization kinetics of MMW PLLA/PDLA asymmetric blends in the heating process.
