A NEW NUMERICAL METHOD FOR TWO-PHASE IMMISCIBLE INCOMPRESSIBLE PROBLEM

Two-phase, immiscible, incompressible flow in porous media is governed by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations. In most practical applications convection physically dominates diffusion, and the object of this paper is to develop a finite difference method combined with the method of characteristics and the lumped mass method to treat the parabolic equation of the differential system. This method is shown satisfy the maximum principle and its error analysis is presented.     

一类退化椭圆型方程边值问题的适定性

研究一类特殊退化椭圆型方程边值问题的适定性,该类问题与双曲空间中的极小图的Dirichlet问题,曲面的无穷小等距形变刚性问题等等的研究密切相关,而这类方程的特征形式在区域上是变号的,其适定性是值得深入讨论的.最后,得到这类边值问题的H~1弱解的存在性和唯一性.     

一种对称损失函数下正态总体刻度参数的估计

本文研究正态分布中刻度参数在损失函数L(σ，δ)=[(σ-δ)^2]/σδ下的最小风险同变估计及Bayes估计，并讨论(cT(x) d)^1/2形式估计的可容许性与不可容许性，我们发现在这种损失下σ的极大似然估计是不可容许的．     

一类数学生物经济模型的周期性

利用重合度理论中的延拓定理研究了一类非自治的数学生物经济模型的正周期解的存在性，得到了保证周期解存在的充分性判据．     

THE UPWIND FINITE ELEMENT SCHEME AND MAXIMUM PRINCIPLE FOR NONLINEAR CONVECTION-DIFFUSION PROBLEM

In this paper, a kind of partial upwind finite element scheme is studied for twodimensional nonlinear convection-diffusion problem. Nonlinear convection term approximated by partial upwind finite element method considered over a mesh dual to the triangular grid, whereas the nonlinear diffusion term approximated by Galerkin method. A linearized partial upwind finite element scheme and a higher order accuracy scheme are constructed respectively. It is shown that the numerical solutions of these schemes preserve discrete maximum principle. The convergence and error estimate are also given for both schemes under some assumptions. The numerical results show that these partial upwind finite element scheme are feasible and accurate.     

CHARACTERIZATIONS OF SYMMETRIC MULTISTEP RUNGE-KUTTA METHODS

Some characterizations for symmetric multistep Runge-Kutta(RK) methods are obtained. Symmetric two-step RK methods with one and two-stages are presented. Numerical examples show that symmetry of multistep RK methods alone is not sufficient for long time integration for reversible Hamiltonian systems. This is an important difference between one-step and multistep symmetric RK methods.     

非交换Lipschitz-φ算子代数

本文引入由紧距离空间(K,d)到给定Banach代数A中的Lipschitz-φ算子构成的非交换Banach代数L~φ(K,A)与l~φ(K,A),证明了它们都是由K到A的全体连续算子构成的非交换Banach代数C(K,A)的子代数,并且关于范数||f||φ=L_φ(f)+||f||∞是Banach代数,研究了不同 Lipschitz尺度函数φ对应的大(小)Lipschitz代数之间的关系。特别当φ(t)=t~α时,引入了极限代数lim_(α→0+)l~α(K,A),lim_(α→+∞)l~α(K,A),lim_(α→0+)L~α(K,A)与lim_(α→+∞)L~α(K,A)以及距离空间的Lipschitz连通性,得到了lim_(α→+∞)l~α(K,A)=A的充要条件,也给出了lim_(α→0+)L~α(K,A)=C(K,A)的条件。     

亚纯函数的Valiron亏函数

对于开平面内有穷级的超越亚纯函数f(z),本文主要讨论其Valiron亏函数问题,得到f(z)的Valiron亏函数的F_δ-集合必为μ-集合的结论,去掉了陈怀惠等对f(z)的极点的要求。最后指出对于无穷级的情形,也有相应的结论。     

无界区域R~1上的KDV型方程的指数吸引子

本文研究了无界区域R~1上的KDV型方程,运用带权空间构造一类紧算子和算子分解的方法,得到了该方程在无界区域R~1上拥有一个指数吸引子。     

不变子空间问题的一个等价条件

本文得到了自反Banach空间X上有界线性算子全体所成的Banach代数的子代数的不变子空间问题的一个新的等价条件。
