Quantum state-to-state dynamics for the N((4)S) + OH(X(?2)Π) → H((2)S) + NO(X(?2)Π) reaction is reported on an accurate ab initio potential energy surface of the lowest triplet electronic state (a(3)A(")) of HNO∕HON. It was found that the reaction is dominated by long-lived resonances supported by the HNO and HON wells. Significant non-reactive scattering was observed, indicating substantial deviations from the statistical limit. Due to the large exothermicity of the reaction, the NO product has hot internal state distributions: its rotational state distribution is inverted and peaks near the highest accessible rotational level; and its vibrational state distribution extends to υ = 10 and decays monotonically with the vibrational quantum number. In particular, the predicted product vibrational distribution is in reasonably good agreement with experiment. The calculated differential cross section is dominated by scattering in both the forward and backward directions, consistent with the formation of reaction intermediates.  相似文献

We carried out the crossed molecular beam reaction of ground state methylidyne radicals, CH(X(2)Π), with acetylene, C(2)H(2)(X(1)Σ(g)(+)), at a nominal collision energy of 16.8 kJ mol(-1). Under single collision conditions, we identified both the atomic and molecular hydrogen loss pathways forming C(3)H(2) and C(3)H isomers, respectively. A detailed analysis of the experimental data suggested the formation of c-C(3)H(2) (31.5 ± 5.0%), HCCCH/H(2)CCC (59.5 ± 5.0%), and l-HCCC (9.0 ± 2.0%). The reaction proceeded indirectly via complex formation and involved the unimolecular decomposition of long-lived propargyl radicals to form l-HCCC plus molecular hydrogen and HCCCH/H(2)CCC plus atomic hydrogen. The formation of c-C(3)H(2) was suggested to be produced via unimolecular decomposition of the cyclopropenyl radical, which in turn could be accessed via addition of the methylidyne radical to both carbon atoms of the acetylene molecule or after an initial addition to only one acetylenic carbon atom via ring closure. This investigation brings us closer to unraveling of the reaction of important combustion radicals-methylidyne-and the connected unimolecular decomposition of chemically activated propargyl radicals. This also links to the formation of C(3)H and C(3)H(2) in combustion flames and in the interstellar medium.  相似文献

The ground states and binding energies of Eu3+–L (L=H2O,H2S,NH2CH3,S(CH3)2, imidazole) complexes has been determined using ab initio techniques. The binding is mostly electrostatic as expected. The empty f orbital is different for the S compounds, being a π-like orbital, while for the O and N containing ligands it is a σ-like orbital. However, the range in the binding energies for the different f holes is small.  相似文献

The binuclear complexes [Cu2L2(H2O)4] · 5H2O (1) and [Ni2L2(H2O)4] · 2H2O (2) (where L = C11H11NO5S, H 2 L = 2-[(3-formyl-5-methyl-2-hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]ethanesulfonic acid) have been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction. The crystals belong to the monoclinic system, space group P21/c. Complex 1: a = 16.8902(12), b = 11.2829(6), c = 17.4249(11) Å; β = 106.709(4)°; S = 1.131; V = 3180.5(3) Å3; Z = 4; D Calcd = 1.729 g cm?3; F(000) = 1712; μ = 1.554 mm?1; R 1 = 0.0519, wR 2 = 0.1349; complex 2: a = 11.399(2), b = 19.985(3), c = 7.3694(10) Å; β = 108.664(7)°; S = 1.157; V = 1590.6(4) Å3; Z = 2; D Calcd = 1.604 g cm?3; F(000) = 800; μ = 1.388 mm?1; R 1 = 0.1859, wR 2 = 0.4346. The geometry around each metal(II) center can be described as slightly distorted octahedral. Water-sulfonic clusters and (H2O)4 water clusters can be observed for 1 from the crystal packing diagram, while cavity and offset face-to-face π–π stacking can be observed for 2. The complexes have been tested for the antibacterial activities which show antibacterial activities of 1 for β-hemolytic streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, and the antibacterial activity of 2 only for β-hemolytic streptococcus.  相似文献

Two new dibenzyltin bisditiocarbamates(PhCH2)2 Sn(S2CNEt2)2(1) and (PhCH2)2 Sn(S2CNC4H8)2(2) were synthesized by the reaction of dibenzyltin dichloride with dithiocarbamates and characterized by elemental analysis ,IR,^1H NMR and MS spectra.The crystal structures were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.In both complexes,the tin atom is six-coordinated in a distorted octahedral configuration.In the crystals of 1,the molecular packing in unit cell reveals that the two adjacent molecules are symmetrically linked to each other in dimers by two Sn S interactions of 0.3816nm.In the crystals of 2,the molecules are packed in the unit cell in one-dimensional chain structure linked by weaker intermolecular S S conmtacts.  相似文献

Three thiostannates (H2en)2Sn2S6·en 1, (Hen)4Sn2S6 2 (en = ethylenediamine, a known compound)and [(H2hmda)3(Hhmda)2](Sn2S6)2 3 (hmda = hexamethylenediamine) were solvothermal conditions. Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P(1) with a =8.7491(17), b = 10.704(2), c = 12.2031(19) (A), α = 74.888(13), β= 72.998(12), γ= 89.032(15)°, V= 1052.9(3) (A)3, Mr = 614.08, Z = 2, Dc = 1.937 g/cm3,μ = 2.966 mm-1, F(000) = 604, S = 1.211, R = 0.0579 and wR = 0.0770 for 3999 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I); while 3 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P(1) with a = 9.8075(13), b = 10.8266(16), c = 14.303(2) A, α =88.611(10), β = 81.030(9), γ= 74.609(9)°, V = 1446.1(4) (A)3, Mr = 1448.78, Z = 1, Dc = 1.664g/cm3, μ = 2.173 mm-1, F(000) = 730, S = 1.173, R = 0.0457 and wR = 0.0667 for 5738 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). Using the Maxwellian electron velocity distribution and the Breit-Wigner approximation of the reaction cross section, the kinetic parameters of the hydrogen atom formation upon the electron capture by positively charged hydronium-water clusters are estimated. Calculations of the cross sections and rate constants are based on the data of quantum chemical studies of H3O+(H2O) n and H3O(H2O) n clusters, particularly on the detailed analysis of the spacing of high-lying states of the radicals and the character of the unpaired electron density distribution, as well as on the general trend in the electron affinity change of the cations depending on the number of water molecules. The lifetimes of the radicals before the dissociation are taken from the classical nonempirical molecular dynamics runs. The results are compared to available experimental data. The mechanisms of the C(3P)+H 2S→HCS+H and C(3P)+H 2S → HSC+H reactions have been studied at the UMP2/6-31G(d,p),UMP2/6-311G(d,p),and G2 levels, and six transition states and three intermediates have been located along the reaction paths. The predicted path for the C(3P)+H2S→HCS+H reaction is: C(3P)+H2S→IM1→TS1→IM2→TS4→HCS+H, in line with the reaction process suggested by Lee et al. [1] in which only the intermediates were given. Our energetic results indicate that the C(3P)+H2S→HCS+H reaction is more favorable than the C(3P)+H 2S→HSC+H reaction, in agreement with experiment.  相似文献

Six new complexes, Mn(CO)( 5-C5H5){Ph2P(S)(CH2) n P(S)Ph2}] (1a3a) [(1a), n=1; (2a), n=2; (3a), n=3] and [Mn2(CO)4( 5-C5H5)2(cis--Ph2P(S)(CH2) n P(S)Ph2)] (1b–3b) [(1b), n=1; (2b), n=2; (3b), n=3] have been synthesized by the photochemical reaction of [( 5-C5H5)Mn(CO)3] with Ph2P(S)(CH2) n P(S)Ph2 [n=1, dppm(S)2; 2, dppe(S)2; 3, dppp(S)2]. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectroscopy, f.t.-i.r. and 31P–[1H]-n.m.r. spectroscopy. The spectroscopic studies reveal that coordination of the ligand iscis-chelate bidentate in [Mn(CO)( 5-C5H5){Ph2P(S)(CH2) n P(S)Ph2}] (1a3a) and cis-bridging bidentate between two metals in [Mn2(CO)4( 5-C5H5)2(cis--Ph2P(S)(CH2) n P(S)Ph2)] (1b–3b).  相似文献

Hydrated nitrosonium ion clusters NO(+)(H(2)O)(n) (n = 4 and 5) were investigated by using MP2/aug-cc-pVTZ level of theory to clarify isomeric reaction pathways for formation of HONO and fully hydrated hydride ions. We found some new isomers and transition state structures in each hydration number, whose lowest activation energies of the intracluster reactions were found to be 4.1 and 3.4 kcal mol(-1) for n = 4 and n = 5, respectively. These thermodynamic properties and full quantum mechanical molecular dynamics simulation suggest that product isomers with HONO and fully hydrated hydride ions can be obtained at n = 4 and n = 5 in terms of excess hydration binding energies which can overcome these activation barriers.  相似文献

In the temperature range 873–1123 K, transport numbers of oxygen ions and protons are determined in the system (H2 + H2O), Me/BaCe0.9Nd0.1O3-α/Me,(H2 + H2O), where Me = Ag, Au, Pt, Ni, by the emf and current methods. The determined transport numbers are independent of the determination method, the electrode material, the current direction (anodic and cathodic polarization of the electrode), polarizability of electrodes, and the partial water (hydrogen) pressure in the gas phase. This unambiguously suggests that the transport numbers refer to the solid electrolyte, and not the electrochemical system as a whole. It also follows that partial currents of the hydrogen ionization and the oxygen ion discharge are determined by the transport numbers of protons and oxygen ions in the electrolyte. At a constant temperature, their ratio is affected by neither the electrode potential nor the gas phase composition, i.e., both electrode reactions have a common limiting step (or steps). We extend to full dimensionality a recently developed wave packet method [M. T. Cvitas? and S. C. Althorpe, J. Phys. Chem. A 113, 4557 (2009)] for computing the state-to-state quantum dynamics of AB + CD → ABC + D reactions and also increase the computational efficiency of the method. This is done by introducing a new set of product coordinates, by applying the Crank-Nicholson approximation to the angular kinetic energy part of the split-operator propagator and by using a symmetry-adapted basis-to-grid transformation to evaluate integrals over the potential energy surface. The newly extended method is tested on the benchmark OH + H(2) → H(2)O + H reaction, where it allows us to obtain accurately converged state-to-state reaction probabilities (on the Wu-Schatz-Fang-Lendvay-Harding potential energy surface) with modest computational effort. These methodological advances will make possible efficient calculations of state-to-state differential cross sections on this system in the near future.  相似文献

Ab initio potential energy surfaces and the corresponding analytical energy functions of the ground 1A' and excited 2A' states for the Li(2(2)P) plus H(2) reaction are constructed. Quasiclassical trajectory calculations on the fitted energy functions are performed to characterize the reactions of Li(2(2)P) with H(2)(v = 0, j = 1) and H(2)(v = 1, j = 1) as well as the reaction when the vibrational energy is replaced by collision energy. For simplicity, the transition probability is assumed to be unity when the trajectories go through the crossing seam region and change to the lower surface. The calculated rotational distributions of LiH(v = 0) for both H(2)(v = 0, j = 1) and H(2)(v = 1, j = 1) reactions are single-peaked with the maximum population at j' = 7, consistent with the previous observation. The vibrational excitation of H(2)(v = 1) may enhance the reaction cross section of LiH(v' = 0) by about 200 times, as compared to a result of 93-107 reported in the experimental measurements. In contrast, the enhancement is 3.1, if the same amount of energy is deposited in the translational states. This endothermic reaction can be considered as an analog of late barrier. According to the trajectory analysis, the vibrational excitation enlarges the H-H distance in the entrance channel to facilitate the reaction, but the excess energy may not open up additional reaction configuration.  相似文献

本文在H-Li(100)面吸附扩散的ab initio SCF势能面基础上构造了(H_2H+H)/Li(100)面相互作用的推广LEPS势能面,并用QCT方法研究了该体系的反应动力学行为。分析势能面特征得到:H_2在Li(100)面上的吸附无需活化能,H_2在Li(100)面上的解离吸附与吸附位及吸附模式密切相关,H_2的卧式解离比立式解离要容易得多。分析各种碰撞轨迹得到:低覆盖度下双氢原子的表面复合几率很小,H_2的表面解离几率受到H_2振动量子数的控制。本文构造了一种适合于动力学研究的气体-金属表面相互作用势能面,并且,动力学QCT计算结果能够对H_2表面活化的分子束实验作出合理的解释。  相似文献

Rate coefficients for the CH(v = 0,1) + D(2) reaction have been determined for all possible channels (T: 200-1200 K), using the quasiclassical trajectory method and a suitable treatment of the zero point energy. Calculations have also been performed on the CH(v = 1) + H(2) reaction and the CH(v = 1) + D(2) → CH(v = 0) + D(2) process. Most of the results can be understood considering the key role played by the deep minimum of the potential energy surface (PES), the barrierless character of the PES, the energy of the reaction channels, and the kinematics. The good agreement found between theory and experiment for the rate coefficients of the capture process of CH(v = 0) + D(2), the total reactivity of CH(v = 1) + D(2), H(2), as well as the good agreement observed for the related CH(v = 0) + H(2) system (capture and abstraction), gives confidence on the theoretical rate coefficients obtained for the capture processes of CH(v = 1) + D(2), H(2), the individual reactive processes of CH(v = 1) + D(2), H(2), the abstraction and abstraction-exchange reactions for CH(v = 0) + D(2), and the inelastic process mentioned above, for which there are no experimental data available, and that can be useful in combustion chemistry and astrochemistry.  相似文献
