Reactions of 3-(4-Aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-Benzothiazolyl)-2-iminocoumarins with N-Nucleophiles

The reaction of 3-(4-aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-benzothiazolyl)-2-iminocoumarins with N-nucleophiles was studied. This reaction gives 2-N-substituted 3-(4-aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-benzothiazolyl)iminocourmarins. N-Nucleophiles such as arylamines, heterocyclic amines, and hydrazine derivatives undergo this reaction.

Reduction of (<Emphasis Type="Italic">E</Emphasis>)-3-aryl-2-(thiazol-2-yl)acrylonitriles with lithium aluminum hydride

Reduction of (E)-3-aryl-2-(4-arylthiazol-2-yl)acrylonitriles with lithium aluminum hydride in dry ether afforded (Z)-1-amino-3-aryl-2-(thiazol-2-yl)prop-1-ene derivatives in 15 to 40% yields. The structure of (Z)-1-amino-3-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-[4-(4-methylphenyl)thiazol-2-yl]prop-1-ene was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Dedicated to Academician N. K. Preparation of 3-Aryl-4-(5-ARYL-Δ2-1,2,4-Oxadiazolin-3-YL)Sydnones and their Conversion into 3-ARYL-4-(5-ARYL-1,2,4-Oxadiazol-3-YL)Sydnones

3-Aryl-4-(5-aryl-Δ²-1,2,4-oxadiazolin-3-yl)sydnones (5) were synthesized in high yields by the reaction of 3-arylsydnone-4-carboxamide oximes (prepared from the corresponding 3-arylsydnone-4-carbonitriles) with aromatic aldehydes in the presence of acid catalysts. No reaction occurred when aliphatic aldehydes were used. The oxadiazolin-3-ylsydnones (5) were easily converted into the corresponding 3-aryl-4-(5-aryl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)sydnones by N-bromosuccinimide oxidation. The 3-arylsydnone-4-carbonitrile oxides were synthesized in good yields by N-bromosuccinimide oxidation of the corresponding 3-arylsydnone-4-carboxaldehyde oximes.     

三苯基锡-2-(1, 2-亚乙二硫)亚甲基-3-羰基-5-芳基-4-戊烯酸 酯的合成及晶体 结构

由2-(1,2-亚乙二硫)亚甲基-3-羰基-5-芳基-4-戊烯酸与三苯基氢氧化锡反应,合成了九个标题化合物3。用X射线衍射法测定了3b的晶体结构。该晶体属三斜晶系,空间群P1,a=0.9074(2)nm,b=1.6809(3)nm,c=2.1834(4)nm,α=77.57(3)ⅲ,β=88.04(3)ⅲ,γ=89.47(3)ⅲ,V=3.2503nm^3,Z=2;R=0.0592。由锡氧原子间距离可推测,该晶体中羧酸根作为双齿配体与锡原子形成了分子内五配位结构。     

1-乙酰基-3-(2-羟基-4,6-二甲氧基苯基)-5-芳基-2-吡唑啉的合成及Cu2+荧光探针行为

设计合成了6个1-乙酰基-3-(2-羟基-4,6二甲氧基苯基)-5-芳基-2-吡唑啉化合物4a～4f.测试了它们的紫外光谱和荧光光谱,研究了其对铜离子的选择性识别作用.结果表明,化合物4f作为铜离子荧光探针,受常见离子干扰较小,对于铜离子有着较高的选择性和较低的检出限.     

Synthesis of 5-(phenylsulfanyl)-1,4-dihydropyrazine-2,3-diones via an unexpected microwave-assisted cascade reaction

An unprecedented route for the synthesis of N-1 substituted 5-(phenylsulfanyl)-1,4-dihydropyrazine-2,3-diones is disclosed starting from 5-chloro-3-(phenylsulfanyl)pyrazin-2(1H)-ones. The method comprises treatment of various 5-chloro-3-(phenylsulfanyl)pyrazin-2(1H)-ones with Na₂CO₃ in water under microwave irradiation providing the respective 5-(phenylsulfanyl)-1,4-dihydropyrazine-2,3-diones in good yields, via hydrolysis of the thioether bond and subsequent nucleophilic displacement of the chlorine by the in situ generated thiophenol. The obtained compounds are excellent precursors for the diversity oriented synthesis of pharmacologically active α,β-dicarbonyl compounds.     

Polyfunctional pyrazoles. 4. Synthesis of 3-[3-aryl-1-(2-ethoxycarbonyl)-4-pyrazolyl]acrylic and-propionic acids

3-(3-Aryl-4-formyl-1-pyrazolyl)propionic acids are converted by Knoevenagel condensation under conditions of microwave activation into 3-[3-aryl-1-(2-ethoxycarbonyl)-4-pyrazolyl]acrylic acids. Reduction of the latter with hydrazine hydrate in the presence of Raney nickel gives 3-[3-aryl-1-(2-ethoxycarbonyl)-4-pyrazolyl]propionic acids. __________ Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 5, pp. 686–690, May, 2006.     

Application of novel and reusable Fe3O4@CoII(macrocyclic Schiff base ligand) for multicomponent reactions of highly substituted thiopyridine and 4H-chromene derivatives

In this research study we designed and synthesized Co^II(macrocyclic Schiff base ligand containing 1,4-diazepane) immobilized on Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles as a novel, recyclable, and heterogeneous catalyst. The nanomaterial was fully characterized using various techniques such as Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersiveX-ray spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, vibrating sample magnetometry, differential reflectance spectroscopy, Brunauere–Emmette–Teller method, inductively coupled plasma, and elemental analysis (CHNS). Then, the catalytic performance was successfully investigated in the multicomponent synthesis of 2-amino-4-aryl-6-(phenylsulfanyl)pyridine-3,5-dicarbonitrile and 2-amino-5,10-dioxo-4-aryl-5,10-dihydro-4H-benzo[g]chromene-3-carbonitrile derivatives. Furthermore, the catalyst was isolated using a simple filtration, and recovery of the nanocatalyst was demonstrated five times without any loss of activity.     

4-甲基-苯磺酸-2-氧-2-[3-(5-芳基-[1,3,4]噁二唑-2-基)-硫脲]-乙基酯的合成及生物活性研究

合成了12个未见文献报道的4-甲基-苯磺酸2-氧-2-[3-(5-芳基-[1,3,4]噁二唑-2-基)-硫脲]-乙基酯, 其结构经元素分析、¹H NMR和IR确证. 初步活性测试结果表明: 部分化合物有较好的杀菌活性.     

Heterocyclization of Derivatives of 4-Oxoalkanoic Acids to 1,5-Disubstituted Pyrrolin-2-ones

Conditions were developed for the synthesis and production of 1-aryl-5-alkyl(aryl)-3H- and 1-aryl-5-alkyl(aryl)-5H-pyrrolin-2-ones from the amides and esters of 4-oxoalkanoic acids. It was established that the yield and ratio of the 3H and 5H isomers depend on the substrate employed in the reaction.     

Synthesis of novel 3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-7,8-dihydroquinoline-2,5(1H,6H)-diones

An efficient method for the synthesis of novel 3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-7,8-dihydroquinoline-2,5(1H,6H)-diones from various 2-dimethylaminomethylidenecyclohexane-1,3-diones, (1,3-thiazol-2-yl)acetonitriles, and dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal was developed. These transformations proceeded through intermediate 2-[2-(4-aryl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-2-cyanoethenyl]-3-oxocyclohex-1-en-1-olates. They were isolated as piperidinium salts and used in further heterocyclization reactions with aromatic amines, giving novel 1-aryl-3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-7,8-dihydroquinoline-2,5(1H,6H)-diones. These compounds were also obtained by preparative three-step “one pot” synthesis under controlled microwave irradiation. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Interaction of decacarbonyldimanganese and decacarbonyldirhenium with 1-aryl-3-cyanoprop-2-en-1-ones

The reactions of M₂(CO)₁₀ (M = Mn, Re) withtrans-1-aryl-3-cyanoprop-2-en-1-ones in the presence of Me₃NO proceed with replacement of the CO ligand and lead to complexeseq-(1-aryl-3-cyanoprop-2-en-1-on)nonacarbonyldimanganese andeq-(1-aryl-3-cyanoprop-2-en-1-on)nonacarbonyldirhenium complexes where the metals are bonded with the ligand through the nitrogen atom of the cyanogroup. The treatment of (1-phenyl-3-cyanoprop-2-en-1-on)nonacarbonyldirhenium with a second equivalent of the ligand resulted in the disubstituted complex,eq,eq-bis(1-phenyl-3-cyanoprop-2-en-1-on)octacarbonyldirhenium in a good yield. Efficient,Stereoselective Approach to the Synthesis of 3-(1-Phenyl-2-(Z-styrylsulfonyl)-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-2H-chromen-2-ones

Reaction of phenyl acetylene with 3-(1-aryl-2-mercapto-4-imidazolyl)-2H-1-benzopyran-2-ones (4) in the presence of sodium hydroxide in absolute ethanol led to the formation of 3-(1-phenyl-2-(Z-styrylthio)-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-2H-chromen-2-ones (6) in excellent yields. These, on further oxidation with H₂O₂/AcOH, gave the corresponding sulfones (7) with retention of stereochemistry.

Facile Synthesis of 6-Aryl-3-cyanopyridine-2-(1H)-thiones from Aryl Ketones

An improved synthesis of 6-aryl-3-cyanopyridine-2-(1H)-thiones utilizing enaminones as starting materials catalyzed by 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) was described. Moreover, a convenient one-pot conversion of aryl ketones to 6-aryl-3-cyanopyridine-2-(1H)-thiones was also developed in moderate to good yields (up to 80%).     

Synthesis of 5-Hydroxymethyl-8-methyl-3-(3-aryl-[1,2,4]oxadiazol-5-yl)-2H-pyrano[2,3-c]pyridin-2-ones and Their Esters

New 5-hydroxymethyl-8-methyl-3-(3-aryl-[1,2,4]oxadiazol-5-yl)-2H-pyrano-[2,3-c]pyridin-2-ones and their esters were synthesized. The structure of obtained compounds was determined through a complete ¹H NMR analysis.     

2-(1,2-亚乙/1,3-亚丙二硫)亚甲基-3-羰基丁酰氯的制备及其与芳烃的酰化反应

制备了较稳定的2-(1,2-亚乙/1,3-亚丙二硫)亚甲基-3-羰基丁酰氯,并实现了其与芳烃的酰化反应,为1-芳基-2-(1,2-亚乙/1,3-亚丙二硫)亚甲基-1,3-丁二酮的合成提供了一条新途径.     

Products from condensation of 1-(3(4)-acetylphenyl)-4-carboxy-2-pyrrolidinones with <Emphasis Type="Italic">o</Emphasis>-phenylenediamine and their properties

2-Substituted benzimidazoles were synthesized by the reaction of 1-(3(4)-acetylphenyl)-4-carboxy-2-pyrrolidinones with o-phenylenediamine. Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a New Quinazolinone Compound 2,3-Dihydro-2-（2-hydroxyphenyl）-3-phenyl-quinazolin-4（1H）-one

A new quinazolinone compound 2,3-dihydro-2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-phenylquinazolin-4(IH)-one 3 ([C2oH16O2N2]-C2H5OH, Mr = 362.42) and compound 2-(2-hydroxybenzylidene-amino)-N-phenyl-benzamide 2 (C2oH16O2N2, Mr = 316.34) were prepared from a precursor of 2-amino-N-phenyl-benzamide 1 (C13H12ON2, Mr = 212.25). Compound 3 was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal belongs to orthorhombic,space group Pbca with a = 1.2889(11), b = 1.6170(14), c = 1.7729(15) nm, V= 3.695(6) nm^3, Z= 8, F(000) = 1536, Mr = 362.42, Dc = 1.303 g/cm^3, μ(MoKa) = 0.087 mm^-1, R = 0.0447 and wR= 0.0879. The crystal structure analysis indicates that the title compound has a two-dimensional network structure formed by hydrogen bonds and electrostatic interactions.     

(Z)-1-[2-(二苯基碘化锡基)乙烯基]-1-环己醇的合成、晶体结构和性质

报道了标题化合物的合成、晶体结构及性质。该晶体属于单斜晶系，空间群为P2~1，晶胞参数a=0.9255(3)nm，b=1.0504(3)nm，c=1.0217(3)nm，β=100.99(2)°，V=0.9750nm^3，Z=2，D~c=1.790g/cm^3，R=0.025，晶体结构由直接法解出。标题化合物分子中的锡原子被配体的三个碳、一个碘和一个氧原子配位；配位原子是畸变的三角双锥构型；标题化合物具有与卤素发生取代反应而不发生加成反应的性质。
