In this paper, a generalized auxiliary equation method with the aid of the computer symbolic computation system Maple is proposed to construct more exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations, namely, the higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation, the Whitham–Broer–Kaup system, and the generalized Zakharov equations. As a result, some new types of exact travelling wave solutions are obtained, including soliton-like solutions, trigonometric function solutions, exponential solutions, and rational solutions. The method is straightforward and concise, and its applications are promising.  相似文献

The self-similar singular solution of the fast diffusion equation with nonlinear gradient absorption terms are studied. By a self-similar transformation, the self-similar solutions satisfy a boundary value problem of nonlinear ordinary differential equation (ODE). Using the shooting arguments, the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the initial data problem of the nonlinear ODE are investigated, and the solutions are classified by the region of the initial data. The necessary and sufficient condition for the existence and uniqueness of self-similar very singular solutions is obtained by investigation of the classification of the solutions. In case of existence, the self-similar singular solution is very singular solution.  相似文献

A generalized hyperbolic perturbation method is presented for homoclinic solutions of strongly nonlinear autonomous oscillators,in which the perturbation procedure is improved for those systems whose exact homoclinic generating solutions cannot be explicitly derived.The generalized hyperbolic functions are employed as the basis functions in the present procedure to extend the validity of the hyperbolic perturbation method.Several strongly nonlinear oscillators with quadratic,cubic,and quartic nonlinearity are studied in detail to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the present method.  相似文献

The theory of planar dynamical systems is used to study the dynamical behaviours of travelling wave solutions of a nonlinear wave equations of KdV type.In different regions of the parametric space,sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of solitary wave solutions,periodic wave solutions,kink and anti-kink wave solutions are given.All possible exact explicit parametric representations are obtained for these waves.  相似文献

Dynamical analysis has revealed that, for some nonlinear wave equations, loop- and inverted loop-soliton solutions are actually visual artifacts. The so-called loopsoliton solution consists of three solutions, and is not a real solution. The breather solutions of the Maxwell–Bloch equations in a two-level resonant system associated with the self-induced transparency phenomenon are constructed by the Darboux transformation. After constructing the formulas of the second-order breather solutions, the double degeneration and hybrid solutions are studied by the analytical form as well as figures. Our results might be helpful in such application or prevention of the rogue waves from breather solution interactions and degeneration in the nonlinear optical systems associated with the Maxwell–Bloch equations.  相似文献

This paper aims at analyzing the shapes of the bounded traveling wave solu- tions for a class of nonlinear wave equation with a quintic term and obtaining its damped oscillatory solutions. The theory and method of planar dynamical systems are used to make a qualitative analysis to the planar dynamical system which the bounded traveling wave solutions of this equation correspond to. The shapes, existent number, and condi- tions are presented for all bounded traveling wave solutions. The bounded traveling wave solutions are obtained by the undetermined coefficients method according to their shapes, including exact expressions of bell and kink profile solitary wave solutions and approxi- mate expressions of damped oscillatory solutions. For the approximate damped oscillatory solution, using the homogenization principle, its error estimate is given by establishing the integral equation, which reflects the relation between the exact and approximate so- lutions. It can be seen that the error is infinitesimal decreasing in the exponential form.  相似文献
