对于一类分段映射讨论了非线性幂次z导致的不同非光滑性, 推导了周期n 解的边界碰撞分岔及光滑flip和fold 分岔条件. 通过数值仿真验证了这些分岔条件的正确性, 发现存在稳定周期窗的加周期分岔序列是非光滑映射的一个普遍现象, 根本原因在于边界碰撞分岔和光滑flip 或fold 分岔相互作用. 当z取值不同分岔序列有很大的不同, 而参数γ 对于分岔序列的结构影响不大, 因此令参数γ=0 可简化映射的参数分析.  相似文献

Diffuse mode bifurcation of soil under plane-strain compression test is shown, by means of an image analysis based on group-theoretic bifurcation theory, to trigger convection-like shear and to precede shear band formation. First digital photos of Toyoura sand specimens are processed by PIV (particle image velocimetry) to gather digitized images of deformation. Next bifurcation from a uniform state is detected by expanding these images into the double Fourier series and finding a predominant harmonic diffuse bifurcation mode based on that theory. This harmonic bifurcation mode, which is the mixture of a few harmonic functions, expresses complex convection-like shear. Last bifurcation from a non-uniform state is detected by decomposing each image into a few images with different symmetries to extract non-harmonic diffuse bifurcation modes. Diffuse modes of bifurcation, which hitherto were hidden behind predominant uniform compressive deformation, have thus been made transparent by virtue of the group-theoretic image analysis proposed. A possible course of deformation suggested herein is the evolution of diffuse mode bifurcation with a convection-like bifurcation mode breaking uniformity and symmetry, followed by the formation of shear bands through localization.  相似文献

针对轮对系统中的非线性动力学问题, 本文基于Hopf分岔代数判据得到考虑陀螺效应的轮对系统Hopf分岔点解析表达式, 即轮对系统蛇形失稳的线性临界速度解析表达式. 基于分岔理论得到轮对系统的第一、第二Lyapunov系数表达式, 并结合打靶法分别得到不同纵向刚度下, 考虑陀螺效应与不考虑陀螺效应的轮对系统分岔图. 通过对比有无陀螺效应的轮对系统分岔图发现, 在同一纵向刚度下, 考虑陀螺效应的轮对系统线性临界速度和非线性临界速度均大于不考虑陀螺效应的轮对系统, 即陀螺效应可以提高轮对系统的运动稳定性. 基于Bautin分岔理论, 以纵向刚度和纵向速度作为参数, 分别得到考虑陀螺效应和不考虑陀螺效应的轮对系统, 从亚临界Hopf分岔到超临界Hopf分岔, 再从超临界Hopf分岔到亚临界Hopf分岔的迁移机理拓扑图. 通过对比有、无陀螺效应的轮对系统Bautin分岔拓扑图发现, 陀螺效应将改变轮对系统的退化Hopf分岔点, 但对于轮对系统Bautin分岔拓扑图的影响不大.   相似文献

The Hopf bifurcations of an airfoil flutter system with a cubic nonlinearity are investigated, with the flow speed as the bifurcation parameter. The center manifold theory and complex normal form method are Used to obtain the bifurcation equation. Interestingly, for a certain linear pitching stiffness the Hopf bifurcation is both supercritical and subcritical. It is found, mathematically, this is caused by the fact that one coefficient in the bifurcation equation does not contain the first power of the bifurcation parameter. The solutions of the bifurcation equation are validated by the equivalent linearization method and incremental harmonic balance method.  相似文献

Codimension two bifurcation of a vibro-bounce system   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A three-degree-of-freedom vibro-bounce system is considered. The disturbed map of period one single-impact motion is derived analytically. A center manifold theorem technique is applied to reduce the Poincaré map to a three-dimensional one, and the normal form map associated with Hopf-flip bifurcation is obtained. Dynamical behavior of the system, near the point of codimension two bifurcation, is investigated by using qualitative analysis and numerical simulation. It is found that near the point of Hopf-flip bifurcation there exists not only Hopf bifurcation of period one single-impact motion, but also Hopf bifurcation of period two double-impact motion. The results from simulation show that there exists an interesting torus doubling bifurcation near the codimension two bifurcation. The torus doubling bifurcation makes the quasi-periodic attractor associated with period one single-impact motion transform to the other quasi-periodic attractor represented by two attracting closed circles. The torus bifurcation is qualitatively different from the typical torus doubling bifurcation occurring in the vibro-impact systems. Occurrence or non-occurrence of saddle-node bifurcation in a buck converter with constant current load under current or voltage mode control is analyzed. The bifurcation critical conditions are derived. The required compensating ramp slope to avoid the bifurcation is also derived. The derived condition is useful to design a stable buck converter as a light emitting diode (LED) driver to avoid the bifurcation. The bifurcation occurs only in some control schemes. When the control scheme makes the converter operate like a current source, the bifurcation occurs. When the control scheme makes the converter operate like a voltage source, the bifurcation does not occur.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the local and global bifurcation behaviors of an archetypal self-excited smooth and discontinuous oscillator driven by moving belt friction. The belt friction is described in the sense of Stribeck characteristic to formulate the mathematical model of the proposed system. For such a friction characteristic, the complicated bifurcation behaviors of the system are discussed. The bifurcation of the multiple sliding segments for this self-excited system is exhibited by analytically exploring the collision of tangent points. The Hopf bifurcation of this self-excited system with viscous damping is analyzed by making the examination of the eigenvalues at the steady state and discussing the stability of the limit cycles. The bifurcation diagrams and the corresponding phase portraits are depicted to demonstrate the complicated dynamical behaviors of double tangency bifurcation, the bifurcation of sliding homoclinic orbit to a saddle, subcritical Hopf bifurcation and grazing bifurcation for this system.  相似文献

The effect of the nonlinear terms on bifurcation behaviors of limit cycles of a simplified railway wheelset model is investigated. At first, the stable equilibrium state loses its stability via a Hopf bifurcation. The bifurcation curve is divided into a supercritical branch and a subcritical one by a generalized Hopf point, which plays a key role in determining the occurrence of flange contact and derailment of high-speed railway vehicles, and the occurrence of this critical situation is an important decision-making criteria for design parameters. Secondly, bifurcations of limit cycles are discussed by comparing the bifurcation behavior of cycles for two different nonlinear parameters. Unlike local Hopf bifurcation analysis based on a single bifurcation parameter in most papers, global bifurcation analysis of limit cycles based on two bifurcation parameters is investigated, simultaneously. It is shown that changing nonlinear parameter terms can affect bifurcation types of cycles and division of parameter domains. In particular, near the branch points of cycles, two symmetrical limit cycles are created by a pitchfork bifurcation and then two symmetrical cycles both undergo a period-doubling bifurcation to form two stable period-two cycles. Around the resonant points, period orbits can make several turns, whose number of turns corresponds to the ratio of resonance. Thirdly, near the Neimark–Sacker bifurcation of cycles, a stable torus is created by a supercritical Neimark–Sacker bifurcation, which shows that the orbit of the model exhibits modulated oscillations with two frequencies near the limit cycle. These results demonstrate that nonlinear parameter terms can produce very complex global bifurcation phenomena and make obvious effects on possible hunting motions even though a simple railway wheelset model is concerned.

This paper summarizes the authors' research on local bifurcation theory of nonlinear systems with parametric excitation since 1986. The paper is divided into three parts. The first one is the local bifurcation problem of nonlinear systems with parametric excitation in cases of fundamental harmonic, subharmonic and superharmonic resonance. The second one is the experiment investigation of local bifurcation solutions in nonlinear systems with parametric excitation. The third one is the universal unfolding study of periodic bifurcation solutions in the nonlinear Hill system, where the influence of every physical parameter on the periodic bifurcation solution is discussed in detail and all the results may be applied to engineering.  相似文献

交通流特性是混合交通流建模的一个重要因素. 交通流模型中的分岔现象是导致复杂交通现象的因素之一. 交通流的分岔, 涉及复杂的动力学特征且研究较少. 因此, 提出了一个最优速度模型来研究驾驶员记忆对驾驶行为的影响. 基于带有记忆的最优速度连续交通流模型, 利用非线性动力学, 分析和预测了复杂交通现象. 推导了鞍结 (LP) 分岔存在条件, 并通过数值计算得到了余维1 Hopf (H) 分岔、LP分岔和同宿轨 (HC) 分岔以及余维2广义Hopf (GH) 分岔、尖点 (CP) 分岔和Bogdanov-Takens (BT) 分岔等多种分岔结构. 根据双参数分岔区域的特点, 研究了记忆参数对单参数分岔结构的影响, 分析了不同分岔结构对交通流的影响, 并用相平面描述了平衡点附近轨迹的变化特征. 选择Hopf分岔和鞍结分岔作为密度演化的起点, 描述了均匀流、稳定和不稳定的拥挤流以及走走停停现象. 结果表明, 驾驶员记忆对交通流的稳定性有重要影响; 动力学行为很好地解释了交通拥堵现象; 考虑余维2分岔的影响, 能更好地理解交通拥堵产生的根源, 并为制定有效抑制拥堵的方法提供一定的理论依据.   相似文献

A systematic method is presented for describing experimental curves of force vs strain of a system with regular polygonal (dihedral group) symmetry subject to bifurcation behavior, with an aim toward overcoming the following problems : (1) it is difficult to judge whether the system is undergoing bifurcation or not ; (2) the perfect behavior of the system cannot be known due to the presence of initial imperfections ; (3) those curves are often qualitatively different from bifurcation diagrams predicted by mathematics. The tools employed are : the asymptotic theory for imperfect bifurcation, such as the Koiter law, and the stochastic theory of initial imperfections. The former theory is extended in this paper to the system with regular-polygonal symmetry to present asymptotic laws for recovering perfect curves with reference to the experimental ones. These laws are formulated for physically observable displacements, instead of the variables in the mathematical bifurcation diagrams, in order to make them readily applicable to the experimental curves. The stochastic theory is combined with an asymptotic law to develop a means to identify the multiplicity of the bifurcation point. The systematic method for describing the experimental curves developed in this manner is applied to the bifurcation analysis of regular-polygonal truss domes to testify its validity. Furthermore, this method is applied to the shear behavior of cylindrical sand specimens to show that they, in fact, are undergoing bifurcation, and, in turn, to demonstrate the importance of a viewpoint of bifurcation in the study of shear behavior of materials. The need of a dual viewpoint of bifurcation and plasticity in the study of constitutive relationship of materials is emphasized to conclude the paper.  相似文献

对超混沌系统进行分岔反控制的研究已成为当前一个重要研究方向,常采用线性控制器实现反控制。首先,对一个四维超混沌系统的Hopf分岔特性进行了分析,利用高维分岔理论推导出分岔特性与参数之间的关系式,以此判断系统的分岔类型。然后,设计一个由线性与非线性组合成的混合控制器对系统进行分岔反控制,控制参数取值不同时,系统会呈现出不同的分岔特性。通过分析得出,调控线性控制器参数可以使系统Hopf分岔提前或延迟发生;同时,调控混合控制器的两个控制参数,可以改变系统Hopf分岔特性,实现分岔反控制。  相似文献

The location of bifurcation points and bifurcation diagrams is important for the understanding of a nonlinear system with parametric resonance. This paper presents a model-less method to predict bifurcations of slightly damped multi-degree-of-freedom nonlinear systems with parametric resonance using transient recovery data in the pre-bifurcation regime. This method is based on the observation that the envelope amplitude of a decaying response in the pre-bifurcation regime recovers more slowly to the equilibrium as the system becomes closer to the bifurcation. Data obtained from both simulations and experiments are used to forecast the location of the bifurcation point and the bifurcation diagram. Forecasting results demonstrate that the method can be used to predict the bifurcation accurately under a set of specific assumptions.  相似文献

The bifurcations of a rectangular block subject to plane strain tension or compression are investigated. The block material is taken to be incompressible and is characterized by an incrementally linear constitutive law for which “normality” does not necessarily hold. The consequences of non-normality regarding bifurcation are given primary emphasis here. The characteristic regimes of the governing equations (elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic) are detennined. In each of these regimes both symmetric and antisymmetric diffuse bifurcation modes are available. Additionally, in the hyperbolic and parabolic regimes, bifurcation into a localized shear band mode is also possible. Particular attention is given to the limiting cases of long wavelength and soon wavelength diffuse bifurcation modes. The range of parameter values is identified for which bifurcation into some localized mode may precede bifurcation into a long wavelength diffuse mode. Some difficulties associated with employing a linear incremental solid in a bifurcation analysis, when primary interest is in the bifurcation of an underlying elastic-plastic solid, are also discussed.  相似文献

Based on physical meaning of Melnikov function, we establish a method to calculate period doubling bifurcation and discuss this kind of bifurcation of soft spring Duffing system and find that the result is analogous to subharmonic bifurcation, that is, period doubling bifurcation will appear if damping is small and amplitude of excitation is big. In this paper, the discrete-time mathematical model for tissue inflammation obtained by Euler is investigated in detail. Conditions of the existence for fold bifurcation, flip bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation are derived by using center manifold theorem and bifurcation theory, and chaos in the sense of Marotto is proved by analytical method. Numerical simulations, including bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponents, fractal dimensions, and phase portraits are plotted to perfectly show the consistence with the theoretical analysis.  相似文献
