注塑成型是利用型腔模制造理想制品主要的成型加工方式 ,塑料熔体的流动行为将直接影响着最终塑件的质量 ,塑料熔体在三维薄壁型腔内的流动属于带有运动边界的粘性不可压缩流体的流动 ,本文针对塑料注塑成型特点 ,经过量纲分析和引入合理而必要的假设 ,得到了适合于充模分析的数学模型。控制方程的求解主要包括三个阶段 :压力场、温度场和流动前沿位置的确定。数值求解采用有限元法求解压力场、有限差分法求解温度场、并利用控制体积法跟踪熔体前沿 ,实现了充模过程的动态模拟 相似文献

To study the weld line formation of colliding flow fronts the filling of a mold cavity was simulated. The thermo-rheological findings were used to investigate the sources of weld line weakness. In this way critical areas of the interface in regard to the lack of interdiffusion and the inappropriate molecular orientation were found to be placed near the surface of the finished parts. The main source for the weld line weakness seems to be the V-notch that arises due to the poorly bonded region near the surface in combination with the large shrinkage as a result of extremely high molecular orientations induced at the end of the filling. Furthermore, the empirical knowledge was confirmed that weld lines are rather more sensitive to the local flow situation than the global processing conditions. In polymer processing weld-lines occur when a polymer melt is separated and then reunited. The internal structure of a weld-line
region is determined by the rheological state of the reunited melt streams. An experimental investigation of the region of
interest within the mold is almost impossible. Thus, computer simulation is necessary to examine weld-lines. This paper presents
a detailed analysis of the flow behavior at a weld-line interface which was caused by a flow obstacle. The results show a
gradual increase of the velocity within a short distance behind the obstacle which coincides with a short weld-line determined
by the advancement of the flow fronts obtained from conventional mold filling studies. However, based on the residence time
history of the melt there is a weld-line over the full length of the part. Its formation mechanism was additionally described
by experimental filling studies by the sandwich injection molding technique. In conclusion, the formation of the weld-line
should be determined not only by the flow fronts, but also by the thermo-rheological history of the reunited melt streams.

A numerical simulation of reaction injection molding (RIM) of polymeric foam is developed, using a finite volume method (FVM). In this study we predict mold filling with a variable‐density fluid that fills a mold by self‐expansion. We deal with two‐dimensional, isothermal cases. With the assumptions of ideal mixing and rapid bubble nucleation, the foam is modelled as a continuum with a time‐dependent density. The continuum is assumed to be a Newtonian fluid. We develop a pressure‐based FVM for unstructured meshes that includes the SIMPLE algorithm with treatment of fluid compressibility. Cell‐based, co‐located storage is used for all physical variables. To treat the moving interface, an explicit high‐resolution interface capturing method is used. Foam flow in a slit is investigated, and the numerical calculations are in good agreement with an approximate analytic solution. For fountain flow in a rectangular cavity, the shape of the flow front is flatter and the traces of the particles are more complicated for an expanding foam than for a constant‐density fluid. A numerical study was performed on flow and heat transfer involving moving free surfaces that occurs in mold filling processes such as casting and injection molding. In these problems, the calculation domain changes continuously and the numerical treatment of the moving interface tends to cause artificial diffusion. Among the solution algorithms based on the Eulerian method, the volume-of-fluid (VOF) method was used because the method is simple and efficient in handling the complex flow patterns inside the cavity. To solve the transport equation of free surface without artificial smearing of the interface the baby-cell method was employed in the geometric reconstruction of the free surface. Furthermore, a predictor–corrector method was adopted in the time integration of volume-of-fluid (VOF) transport equation to increase the accuracy. The proposed scheme was verified through several benchmark problems. In order to show the capability of the proposed method, several three-dimensional mold filling processes were solved. 基于任意拉格朗日-欧拉方法发展了三维充填流动的数值模拟方案.该方案采用ALE方法准确地追踪移动自由面的位置并避免了网格扭曲;基于移动最小二乘曲面拟合方法提出了移动自由面上网格节点重定位方法,将充填流动的网格更新过程简化为自由面附近的局部网格重划分过程,并通过分级多面体三角剖分实现,减小了网格划分的计算量,实现了实时网格生成.给出的数值算例结果表明了该数值模型对三维充填流动模拟的有效性. 相似文献
