We provide a new approach to obtain solutions of evolution equations with nonlinear and nonlocal in time boundary conditions. Both, compact and noncompact semigroups are considered. As an example we show a “principle of huge growth”: every control of a reaction-diffusion system necessarily leads to a profile preserving nonlinear huge growth for an appropriate initial value condition. As another example we apply the approach with noncompact semigroups also to a class of age-population models, based on a hyperbolic conservation law.  相似文献

求解非线性方程组的混合遗传算法   总被引:27,自引:2,他引:25  
非线性方程组的求解是数值计算领域中最困难的问题。大多数的数值求解算法例如牛顿法的收敛性和性能特征在很大程度上依赖于初始点。但是对于很多非线性方程组,选择好的初始点是一件非常困难的事情。本文结合遗传算法和经典算法的优点,提出了一种用于求解非线性方程组的混合遗传算法。该混合算法充分发挥了遗传算法的群体搜索和全局收敛性,有效地克服了经典算法的初始点敏感问题;同时在遗传算法中引入经典算法(Powell法、拟牛顿迭代法)作局部搜索,克服了遗传算法收敛速度慢和精度差的缺点。选择了几个典型非线性方程组,从收敛可靠性、计算成本和适用性等指标分析对比了不同算法。计算结果表明所设计的混合遗传算法有着可靠的收敛性和较高的收敛速度和精度,是求解非线性方程组的一种成功算法。  相似文献

A high-precision and space-time fully decoupled numerical method is developed for a class of nonlinear initial boundary value problems. It is established based on a proposed Coiflet-based approximation scheme with an adjustable high order for the functions over a bounded interval, which allows the expansion coefficients to be explicitly expressed by the function values at a series of single points. When the solution method is used, the nonlinear initial boundary value problems are first spatially discretized into a series of nonlinear initial value problems by combining the proposed wavelet approximation and the conventional Galerkin method, and a novel high-order step-by-step time integrating approach is then developed for the resulting nonlinear initial value problems with the same function approximation scheme based on the wavelet theory. The solution method is shown to have the N th-order accuracy, as long as the Coiflet with [0, 3 N-1]compact support is adopted, where N can be any positive even number. Typical examples in mechanics are considered to justify the accuracy and efficiency of the method.  相似文献

A class of nonlinear nonlocal for singularly perturbed Robin initial boundary value problems for reaction diffusion equations with boundary perturbation is considered. Under suitable conditions, first, the outer solution of the original problem was obtained. Secondly, using the stretched variable, the composing expansion method and the expanding theory of power series the initial layer was constructed. Finally, using the theory of differential inequalities the asymptotic behavior of solution for the initial boundary value problems was studied, and educing some relational inequalities the existence and uniqueness of solution for the original problem and the uniformly valid asymptotic estimation were discussed.  相似文献

The initial problem for second order linear evolution equation systems is discussed by using the contraction semigroup theory. A kind of initial value problem for second order is also discussed with variable coefficients for evolution equations by using the analytical semigroup theory, and is unified with the solutions of the initial value problem for this class of equations and those of first order temporally inhomogeneous evolution equations. For systems of coupled differential equations on a sequence of W-random graphs, we derive the continuum limit in the form of an evolution integral equation. We prove that solutions of the initial value problems (IVPs) for the discrete model converge to the solution of the IVP for its continuum limit. These results combined with the analysis of nonlocally coupled deterministic networks in Medvedev (The nonlinear heat equation on dense graphs and graph limits. ArXiv e-prints, 2013) justify the continuum (thermodynamic) limit for a large class of coupled dynamical systems on convergent families of graphs.  相似文献

This paper develops a new approach to construct variational integrators. A simplified unconventional Hamilton’s variational principle corresponding to initial value problems is proposed, which is convenient for applications. The displacement and momentum are approximated with the same Lagrange interpolation. After the numerical integration and variational operation, the original problems are expressed as algebraic equations with the displacement and momentum at the interpolation points as unknown variables. Some particular variational integrators are derived. An optimal scheme of choosing initial values for the Newton-Raphson method is presented for the nonlinear dynamic system. In addition, specific examples show that the proposed integrators are symplectic when the interpolation point coincides with the numerical integration point, and both are Gaussian quadrature points. Meanwhile, compared with the same order symplectic Runge-Kutta methods, although the accuracy of the two methods is almost the same, the proposed integrators are much simpler and less computationally expensive.  相似文献

The method of multiple scales and the reductive perturbation method are reviewed and compared for calculating uniformly valid solutions of ion-acoustic waves. It is shown that they differ only in the choice of characteristic scales used in nondimensionalizing the problem. The inconsistent initial scaling used in the reductive method is later corrected by introducing artificially scaled variables to describe the solution in a form which remains uniformly valid in the far field. As a result this solution obeys the same evolution equations in both methods. Uncoupled nonlinear evolution equations describing waves traveling in opposite directions are derived using the multiple scale method for a number of different physical problems including the case of a general Galilean invariant system in conservation form.  相似文献

The transformation approach is employed to reduce one-factor bond-pricing equations into the heat equation for which the fundamental solution is wellknown. These transformations are subsequently used to construct the fundamental solutions of two zero-coupon bond-pricing equations. This paper presents a high order multiplication perturbation method for sin- gularly perturbed two-point boundary value problems with the boundary layer at one end. By the theory of singular perturbations, the singularly perturbed two-point boundary value problems are first transformed into the singularly perturbed initial value problems. With the variable coefficient dimensional expanding, the non-homogeneous ordinary dif- ferential equations (ODEs) are transformed into the homogeneous ODEs, which are then solved by the high order multiplication perturbation method. We suggest the method for group classification of evolution equations admitting nonlocal symmetries which are associated with a given evolution equation possessing nontrivial Lie symmetry. We apply this method to second-order evolution equations in one spatial variable invariant under Lie algebras of the dimension up to three. As a result, we construct the broad families of new nonlinear evolution equations possessing nonlocal symmetries which in principle cannot be obtained within the classical Lie approach.  相似文献
