The technique of fluorescence spectroscopy is applied to study thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) in the cells of human brain. Experimental results show that, by the violet light emitting diode (LED, Amax=407 nm) light irradiation, TrxR is able to emit three striking spectral bands (528 - 582 nm; 588 - 660 nm; 683 - 700 nm). The fluorescence intensity is linear to the concentration of TrxR. The spectrum of denatured TrxR is rather different from that of organized TrxR, which reflects the structure change between denatured TrxR and organized TrxR. Furthermore, physical and biochemical mechanisms of fluorescence production for LED light-induced TrxR spectra and its characteristics are analyzed. This paper may be useful to better understand the structure of TrxR, and to provide new spectroscopic information to improve the resolution for this kind of biology structure.  相似文献

We report on a novel organic chromophore with symmetric twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) state on excitation. The properties of nonlinear transmission induced by three-photon absorption (3 PA) are demonstrated pumped with nanosecond laser pulse. Large 3PA cross sections as high as the order of 10^-74 cm^6s^2 have been obtained for nanosecond and picosecond laser pulses at 1064 nm from intensity-dependent transmission measurements. Similar two emissive behaviours from one-photon and three-photon excited fluorescence spectra indicate that the linear and nonlinear fluorescences share the same TICT relaxation process from the excited states. The intensity dependence of upconversion fluorescence on the incident intensity obeys the cubic law that characterizes the three-photon absorption.  相似文献

The upconversion fluorescence emission of Er3 -doped 60GeO2-2OPbO-2OPbF2 glass was experimentally investigated under the pump of 976-nm laser diode. The results reveal the existence of intense emission bands centred around 524, 545, and 657nm at room temperature. The green emission at 524 and 545nm is due to the 4S3/2 2 Hll/2→ 4I15/2 transition and the red emission of 657nm originates from the 4F9/2-→4I15/2 transition of Er3 . The quadratic dependence of the green and red emissions on excitation power indicates that a two-photonabsorption process occurs under the 976-nm excitation. The excited- state absorption from 4I ll/2 and the cross relaxation between two Er3 ions in the 4I ll/2 state contribute to the green emission. The red emission at 657nm is attributed to the excited-state absorption and cross relaxation processes in the 4I13/2 level as well as the 4S3/2 level nonradiative transition of Er3 .  相似文献

Novel Dy^3+-doped GdPO4 white light phosphors with a monoclinic system are successfully synthesized by the hydrothermal method at 240℃. The strong absorption at around 147nm in the excitation spectrum is assigned to the host absorption. It is suggested that the vacuum ultraviolet excited energy is transferred from the host to the Dy^3+ ions. The f - d transition of the Dy^3+ ion is observed to be located at 182nm, which is consistent with the calculated value using Dorenbos's expression. Under 147nm excitation, Gd0.92PO4:0.08Dy^3+ phosphor exhibits two emission bands located at 572 nm (yellow) and 478 nm (blue), which correspond to the hypersensitive transitions ^4 F9/2-^6 H13/2 and ^4 F9/2-^6 H15/2. The two emission bands lead to the white light. Because of the strong absorption at about 147nm, Gd0.92PO4:0.08Dy^3+ under vacuum ultraviolet excitation is an effective white light phosphor, and has promising applications to mercury-free lamps.  相似文献

Silver (Ag) nanoparticles with different average sizes are prepared, and the nonlinear absorption and refraction of these nanoparticles are investigated with femtosecond laser pulses at 800 nm. The smallest Ag nanoparticles show insignificant nonlinear absorption, whereas the larger ones show saturable absorption. By considering the previously reported positive nonlinear absorption of 9 nm Ag nanoparticles, the nonlinear absorptions of Ag nanoparticles are found to be size-dependent. All these nonlinear absorptions can be compatibly explained from the viewpoints of electronic transitions, energy bands and electronic structures in the conduction band of Ag nanoparticles. The nonlinear refraction is attributed to the effect of hot electrons arising from the intraband transition in the s–p conduction band of Ag nanoparticles.  相似文献

We present a nonlinear ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier based on enhanced nonlinear effects that can produce a flat broadband spectrum ranging from 1050–1225 nm with a maximum average output power of 7.8 W at 14 W pump power.Its repetition rate is 89 MHz. Using a pair of gratings and two knife edges as a filter, wavelength tunable picosecond pulses of tens to hundreds of milliwatts can be obtained in the broadband spectrum range. The output power, pulse width, and spectrum(center wavelength and linewidth) are adjusted by tuning the distance of the grating pair and/or the knife edges.Fixing the distance between the two gratings at 15 mm and keeping the output spectrum linewidth at approximately 20 nm,the shortest pulse width obtained is less than 1 ps centered at 1080 nm. The longest wavelength of the short pulses is around1200 nm, and its output power and pulse width are 40 m W and 5.79 ps, respectively. The generation of a flat broadband spectrum is also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

The linear and nonlinear optical properties of a new two-photon absorption (TPA) dye,trans-4-(4‘-pyrrolidinyl styryl)-N-methyl pyridinium methyl sulfate (abbreviated as PSPS) is reported.Intense red superradiance with a peak located at 625nm can be observed from PSPS solution in benzyl alcohol when pumped by a focused picosecond laser beam operated at 1064nm.The lifetines of one-photon absorption (OPA) and TPA fluorescence were measured to be 370 and 384ps,respectively.The pulse widths of OPA and TPA superradiance were 60 and 58 ps,respectively.The highest net upconversion efficiency from the absorbed pump laser to the upconverted superradiance is 8.3% at the pump energy of 0.6 mJ.  相似文献

In this Letter, the effects of the iron(Fe) dopant concentration on the nonlinear optical properties of iron-doped ferroelectric X-cut Li Nb O3 crystals plates are studied by using the Z-scan technique with a cw laser at the wavelength of 532 nm. The amount of iron in the compound is varied from 0 to 0.15 mol%. Measurements of nonlinear refractive index n2 and the nonlinear absorption coefficient β are determined. The sign of the nonlinear refractive index is found to be negative and the magnitude is on the order of 10-8cm2∕W. This nonlinear effect increases as the concentration increases from 0 to 0.15 mol%. A good linear relationship is obtained between nonlinear refractive index, nonlinear absorption coefficient, and concentration.  相似文献

This paper synthesizes the Sr2SiO4:Eu^2+ phosphor by high temperature solid-state reaction. The emission spectrum of Sr2SiO4 : Eu^2+ shows two bands centred at 480 and 547 nm, which agree well with the calculation values of emission spectrum, and the location of yellow emission of Sr2SiO4 : Eu^2+ is influenced by the Eu^2+ concentration. The excitation spectrum for 547 nm emission has two bands at 363 and 402 nm. The emission spectrum of white light emitting diodes (w-LEDs) based on Sr2SiO4 : Eu^2+ phosphor + InGaN LED was investigated.  相似文献

The absorption spectrum of HD16 O was recorded at a resolution of 0.02 cm-1 with a Bruker IFS 120HR Fourier Transform Spectrometer in the region of 9600-10200 cm-1. As far as we know it is the first time to record and analyze the HDO spectrum in this region which was assigned as the ν1+2ν3 and 2ν2+2ν3 bands. With the strong resonance interactions between these two bands considered, the spectroscopic parameters were optimized by the nonlinear least squares method.  相似文献

Sb-doped Ge Se2 chalcogenide thin films are prepared by the magnetron co-sputtering method.The linear optical properties of as-deposited films are derived by analyzing transmission spectra.The refractive index rises and the optical band gap decreases from 2.08 e V to 1.41 e V with increasing the Sb content.X-ray photoelectron spectra further confirm the formation of a covalent Sb–Se bond.The third-order nonlinear optical properties of thin films are investigated under femtosecond laser excitation at 800 nm.The results show that the third-order nonlinear optical properties are enhanced with increasing the concentration of Sb.The nonlinear refraction indices of these thin films are measured to be on the order of 10-18m2/W with a positive sign and the nonlinear absorption coefficients are obtained to be on the order of 10-10m/W.These excellent properties indicate that Sb-doped Ge–Se films have a good prospect in the applications of nonlinear optical devices.  相似文献

Hexagonal ZnO microrods and sub-microrods have been prepared through thermal decomposition of an equimolar (0.1 M) aqueous solution of Zn(NO3)2.4H20 and (CH2)6N4 a~t 90~C for different times (10-46h). The microrods were transformed into hollow hexagonal ZnO microtubes when the growth time reached 46 h. The Raman spectra and the photoluminescent (PL) spectra were measured. The PL spectra of microrods consist of two strong narrow near-UV bands at 380 nm and 400 nm assigned to free exciton emission and exciton-exciton collision, respectively.The PL spectrum of ZnO microtubes show only one peak in the near-UV region with peak located at 380nm with FWHM of about 20nm assigned to free exciton emission. When the growth time increased, the peak intensity of near-UV band decreased.  相似文献

<正>AlPO_4 mesoporous glass doped with perylene orange(PO) is prepared using two steps.The effects of dipping time and PO concentration on the fluorescent properties and molecular formation are investigated through absorption spectra,excitation spectra,and emission spectra.A slight increase in the intensity of excitation bands formed at 499 and 468 nm is ascribed to PO J-dimers aggregates as the dipping time increased from 2 to 24 h at high PO concentration(4×10~(-3) mol/L).This is also the reason behind the concentration increase from 4×10~(-6) to 4×10~(-3) mol/L for the 16 h dipping.The excitation spectra,and the emission spectra of samples doped with PO show a slight red shift as the dipping time and the PO concentration increase.AlPO_4 mesoporous glass is suitable to host the PO at high concentration.  相似文献

Theβ-Ga2O3films are prepared on polished Al2O3(0001)substrates by pulsed laser deposition at different oxygen partial pressures.The influence of oxygen partial pressure on crystal structure,surface morphology,thickness,optical properties,and photoluminescence properties are studied by x-ray diffraction(XRD),atomic force microscope(AFM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),spectrophotometer,and spectrofluorometer.The results of x-ray diffraction and atomic force microscope indicate that with the decrease of oxygen pressure,the full width at half maximum(FWHM)and grain size increase.With the increase of oxygen pressure,the thickness of the films first increases and then decreases.The room-temperature UV-visible(UV-Vis)absorption spectra show that the bandgap of theβ-Ga2O3film increases from4.76 e V to 4.91 e V as oxygen pressure decreasing.Room temperature photoluminescence spectra reveal that the emission band can be divided into four Gaussian bands centered at about 310 nm(~4.0 e V),360 nm(~3.44 e V),445 nm(~2.79 e V),and 467 nm(~2.66 e V),respectively.In addition,the total photoluminescence intensity decreases with oxygen pressure increasing,and it is found that the two UV bands are related to self-trapped holes(STHs)at O1 sites and between two O2-s sites,respectively,and the two blue bands originate from VGa2-at Ga1 tetrahedral sites.The photoluminescence mechanism of the films is also discussed.These results will lay a foundation for investigating the Ga2O3film-based electronic devices.  相似文献

The fluorescence of CdHg excimer has been observed over the spectral range 220-320 nm for temperature between 660-820K. The spectra were excited in a Cd-Hg mixture contained in a quartz vapor cell by laser pulses at 326.1nm. The peaks of these bands are at about 232, 256 and 286 nm respectively. Electroluminescence(EL)is observed from the Au/Si-rich SiO2 film/p-Si diodes,in which the Si-rich SiO2 films are scroed deliberately by a diamond tip.The EL intensity of the scroed diode annelaed at 800℃ is about 6 times of that of the unscored counterpart,The EL sectrum of the usscored diode could be decomposed into two Gaussian luminescence bands with peaks at about 1.83 and 2.23eV,while for the EL spectrum of the scored diode,an additional Gaussian band at about 3.0eV appears,and the 1.83-eV peak increases significantly in intensity,The photoluminescence(PL) spectrum of an unscored Si-rich SiO2 film has only one band peaking at about 1.48eV,whereas the Pl spectrum of the scored one has two bands at about 1.48 and 1.97eV.We consider that the high-density defect regions produced by the scoring provide new luminescence centres and become some types of nonradiative centres in the Si oxide layer,which thus result in changes of the EL and PL spectra.  相似文献

SiC films were prepared by pulsed XeCl laser ablation of ceramic SiC target on Si(100) substrate at temperature 850℃ and post-deposition high temperature annealing above 1100℃ (1100℃-7 Pa). The surface morphology, crystal structure, composition and chemical state of the element in the films before and after annealing were studied by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, Auger electron Spectrum, X-ray photoelectron spectrum and photoluminescence methods. It was found that the films were consisted of polycrystal 4H-SiC structure before annealing and were turned into singlecrystal epitaxial 4H-SiC after annealing. The surfaces of the films were smooth and the adhesion of films with the substrate was good. The films were transparent. Excited by the laser with wavelength 290 nm at room temperature, the films emitted two luminescence bands with the peaks at 377 nm and 560 nm. The emission at 377 nm was attributed to the combination of the transmission among the valence and conductor bands, while the one at 560 nm was possibly to be from exciton emission.  相似文献

We have investigated the whole polarization-extinction-ratio(PER) spectrum and annealing properties of45°-tilted fiber gratings(45°-TFGs). Experimental results show the PER spectrum of 45°-TFGs is a Gaussianlike profile and covers a 540 nm bandwidth from 1260 to 1800 nm, in which the bandwidth with PER greater than 10 dB is over 250 nm. The output polarization distribution of 45°-TFGs was analyzed by employing a bulk linear polarizer, and the results show a perfect figure "8", which indicates that the 45°-TFG is a type of linear polarizer. Moreover, the annealing property of 45°-TFGs was measured up to 700°C, in which the PER of the grating started to decrease at 300°C and reached the minimum at 700°C. Based on these results, the 45°-TFGs can be used as an ultra-wide bandwidth in-fiber polarizing device.  相似文献

Nonlinear optical(NLO) properties of anatase TiO_2 with nanostructures of nanoparticle(NP), nanowire(NW)and annealed nanowire(NWA) are studied by open-aperture and closed-aperture Z-scan techniques with a femtosecond pulsed laser at wavelengths of 532 nm and 780 nm simultaneously. At 532 nm,when increasing excitation intensity, NLO absorption of TiO_2 NPs transforms from saturable absorption to reverse-saturable absorption.However, NWs and NWAs exhibit the opposite change. At 780 nm,all samples show reverse-saturable absorption, but have different sensitivities to excitation intensity Due to the larger surface-to-volume ratio of NPs and less defects of NWAs by annealing, nonlinear optical absorption coefficients follow the order NPs≥NWs≥NWs.The results also show that these shape and annealing effects are dominant at low excitation intensity but do not exhibit at the high excitation intensity. The NLO refractive index of NPs shows a positive linear relationship with the excitation intensity whereas NW and NWAs exhibit a negative linear relationship.The results could provide some foundational guidance to applications of anatase TiO_2 in optoelectronic devices or other aspects.  相似文献

Er3+-doped heavy metal borosilicate glasses were prepared using conventional melting and quenching method. The emission spectra of 4I13/2 → 4I15/2 transition were observed upon excitation at 974 nm and the lifetime of 4I13/2 level of Er3+ was measured. Based on these data, the fluorescence properties of Er3+ are investigated on the emission and gain characteristics at the 1.5 μm bands. In particular, the effect of relative heavy metal content on fluorescence properties is discussed.  相似文献
