In order to measure the isotopic ratio of actinides,the upgrade of the accelerator mass spectrometry system at the Center for Isotopic Research on Cultural and Environmental heritage at the Second University of Naples,Italy,was performed.The beam emittance of 238U and the isotopic abundance sensitivity of 236U were measured on the present beam line.Utilizing a 16-strip silicon detector,the sensitivity of 236U/238U≈ 1×10-11 was obtained.  相似文献

The vector correlations between products and reagents for the reactions Ne+H2+, Ne+D2+, and Ne+T2+ are calculated by means of the quasi-classical trajectory method on a new potential energy surface constructed by Lfi et al, [J. Chem. Phys. 2010 132, 014303]. The polarization-dependent differential cross-sections (27π/σ)(dσ00/dωt), (2π/σ)(dσ20/dwt), (27π/σ)(dσ22+/dwt), and (2π/σ)(dσ21-/dwt), and the distributions of P(θr), P(φ), and P(θr, Cr) are calculated. The isotopic effect, which is associated with the difference in mass factor among the three reactions, is revealed.  相似文献

The vibrating wire alignment technique is a method which, by measuring the spatial distribution of a magnetic field, can achieve very high alignment accuracy. The vibrating wire alignment technique can be applied to fiducializing magnets and the alignment of accelerator straight section components, and it is a necessary supplement to conventional alignment methods. This article gives a systematic summary of the vibrating wire alignment technique, including vibrating wire model analysis, system frequency calculation, wire sag calculation, and the relation between wire amplitude and magnetic induction intensity. On the basis of this analysis, this article outlines two existing alignment methods, one based on magnetic field measurement and the other on amplitude and phase measurements. Finally, some basic experimental issues are discussed.  相似文献

Based on the femtosecond accelerator device which was built at the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics (SINAP), recently a modified far infrared Michelson interferometer has been developed to measure the length of electron bunches via the optical autocorrelation method. Compared with our former normal Michelson interferometer, we use a hollow retroreflector instead of a flat mirror as the reflective mirror. The experimental setup and results of the bunch length measurement will be described in this paper.  相似文献

The beam transport design of a novel proton dielectric wall accelerator is introduced in this paper. The protons will be accelerated from 40 keV to nearly 1 MeV under an accelerating gradient that is as high as 20 MV/m. A consideration of the beam line as well as the transport simulation is presented. The influences of the injection timing jitter and the accelerating pulse timing jitter are also discussed.  相似文献

Design and construction of the first prototype ionization chamber for CSNS and Proton Accelerator (PA) beam loss monitor (BLM) system is reported. The low leakage current (〈0.1 pA), good plateau (≈800 V) and linearity range up to 200 Roentgen/h are obtained in the first prototype. All of these give us good experience for further improving the ionization chamber construction.  相似文献

One kind of instantaneous electron beam emittance measurement system based on the optical transition radiation principle and double imaging optical method has been set up. It is mainly adopted in the test for the intense electron-beam produced by a linear induction accelerator. The system features two characteristics. The first one concerns the system synchronization signal triggered by the following edge of the main output waveform from a Blumlein switch. The synchronous precision of about 1 ns between the electron beam and the image capture time can be reached in this way so that the electron beam emittance at the desired time point can be obtained. The other advantage of the system is the ability to obtain the beam spot and beam divergence in one measurement so that the calculated result is the true beam emittance at that time, which can explain the electron beam condition. It provides to be a powerful beam diagnostic method for a 2.5 kA, 18.5 MeV, 90 ns (FWHM) electron beam pulse produced by Dragon I. The ability of the instantaneous measurement is about 3 ns and it can measure the beam emittance at any time point during one beam pulse. A series of beam emittances have been obtained for Dragon I. The typical beam spot is 9.0 mm (FWHM) in diameter and the corresponding beam divergence is about 10.5 mrad.  相似文献

236U是一种长寿命放射性核素, 其半衰期为T1/2=2.342(3)×107 a, 在自然界的含量极微, 天然铀中 236U/238U的原子比约为~10-14。 目前, 对于236U及其测量的研究报道较少。首先介绍了236U的产生, 并对地球中 236U的总量进行了估算。 概述了236U测定在亿年级中子注量率积分评估、 核环境和核活动监测, 以及地质学等领域中的重要应用。 最后,对国内外加速器质谱(AMS)测量236U的状况进行了综述,报道了中国原子能科学研究院AMS小组通过对同位素干扰鉴别的多方面研究, 初步建立了236UAMS测量方法。 236U is a longlived radionuclide with half life of 2.342(3)×107 a. The ratio of 236U/238U is about 10-14 in the natural Uranium. The origin and production of 236U in globe are introduced and estimated in this paper,respectively. The major applicationsion of 236U as a 100 million year neutron flux integrator,as a “fingerprint” for monitoring nuclear environment and nuclear activity,and as a tracer in geological studies are briefly summarized. The accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS) measurement of 236U in the world and the research on HI 13 tandem accelerator at China Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE) is also mentioned in this paper.  相似文献

A pilot experiment of mass measurement was performed at CSRe with the method of isochronous mass spectrometry. The secondary fragments produced via RIBLL2 with the primary beam of 400 MeV/u ^36Ar delivered by CSRm were injected into CSRe. The revolution periods of the stored ions,which depend on the mass-to-charge ratios of the stored ions,were measured with a time-of-flight detector system. The results show that the mass resolution around 8×10^-6 for △m/m is achieved.  相似文献

In this paper, the gluon propagator in Landau gauge has been studied on a lattice, including the quenched and the unquenched one. The small geometry size of lattice we use is 16^3 × 32, and the big one is 20^3 × 64. For the quenched approximation, we fit the numerical results and give a little different fitting values. We also obtain unquenched effects by comparing the gluon propagator resulting from the quenched and unquenched configurations, for both the two-flavor and three-flavor cases. For the unquenched configurations, an obvious quark mass dependence has not been found in the small quark mass case, but is found in the three-flavor case when the quark mass is big.  相似文献

Plasma in a typically elongated cross-section tokamak (for example, EAST) is inherently unstable against vertical displacement. When plasma loses the vertical position control, it moves downward or upward, leading to disruption, and a large halo current is generated helically in EAST typically in the scrape-off layer. When flowing into the vacuum vessel through in-vessel components, the halo current will give rise to a large J × B force acting on the vessel and the in-vessel components. In EAST VDE experiment, part of the eddy current is measured in halo sensors, due to the large loop voltage. Primary experimental data demonstrate that the halo current first lands on the outer plate and then flows clockwise, and the analysis of the information indicates that the maximum halo current estimated in EAST is about 0.4 times the plasma current and the maximum value of TPF × Ih/Ip0 is 0.65, furthermore Ih/Ipo and TPF × Ih/Ipo tend to increase with the increase of Ip0. The test of the strong gas injection system shows good success in increasing the radiated power, which may be effective in reducing the halo current.  相似文献

We report deep level transient spectroscopy results from ZnO layers grown on silicon by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE). The hot probe measurements reveal mixed conductivity in the as-grown ZnO layers, and the current–voltage(I–V)measurements demonstrate a good quality p-type Schottky device. A new deep acceptor level is observed in the ZnO layer having activation energy of 0.49±0.03 eV and capture cross-section of 8.57×10-18cm2. Based on the results from Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, and secondary ion mass spectroscopy(SIMS) of the ZnO layer, the observed acceptor trap level is tentatively attributed to a nitrogen–zinc vacancy complex in ZnO.  相似文献

Conformal invariance and a new type of conserved quantities of mechanical systems with variable mass in phase space are studied. Firstly, the definition and determining equation of conformal invariance are presented. The relationship between the conformal invariance and the Lie symmetry is given, and the necessary and sufficient condition that the conformal invarianee would be the Lie symmetry under the infinitesimal transformations is provided. Secondly, a new type of conserved quantities of the conformal invariance are obtained by using the Lie symmetry of the system. We report our investigation on the octet baryon spectrum in the nonrelativistic quark model by taking into account the two-gluon exchange effect. The calculated octet baryon masses agree better with the experimental data. It is also shown that the two-gluon exchange interactions bring a significant correction to the Gell-Mann-Okubo mass formula.  相似文献

The chemical potential of electrons in a strong magnetic field is investigated. It is shown that the magnetic field has only a slight effect on electron chemical potential when B < 1011 T, but electron chemical potential will decrease greatly when B > 1011 T. The effects of a strong magnetic field on electron capture rates for 60Fe are discussed, and the result shows that the electron capture sharply decreases because of the strong magnetic field.  相似文献

The symmetric and asymmetric fusion reaction systems forming the same compound nuclei ^26Al, ^30Si, ^38Ar and ^170Hf are investigated with the frame of improved isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics model. The entrance channel mass asymmetry dependence of compound nucleus formation is found by analyzing the shell correction energies, the Coulomb barriers and the fusion cross sections. The calculated fusion cross sections agree quantitatively with the experimental data. The results indicate that compound nucleus formation is favorable for the systems with larger mass asymmetry because of the smaller Coulomb contribution to the fusion barrier.  相似文献

Radioactive decay of super heavy nuclei via the emission of α-particles has been studied theoretically in the preformed cluster model (PCM). The nucleus-nucleus (NN) potential is obtained by double folding the density distributions of the α-particle and the daughter nucleus with a realistic effective interaction. The M3Y effective interaction, supplemented by a zero-range pseudo-potential for exchange term, is used to calculate the NN potential. The α decay half-lives for 317 nuclei at Z=102 120 are performed in the PCM framework with the theoretical Q values extracted from the MSller-Nix-Kratz and Liran-Marinov-Zeldes mass tables and are compared with the experimental data. The calculated results are also compared with those obtained by using Q values from the Muntian-Hofmann-Patyk-Sobiczewski and Myers-Swiatecki mass estimates.  相似文献

Generation of neutrino mass in SO(4) model is proposed here. The algebraic structure of SO (4) is same as to that ofSU(2)L x SU(2)R. It is shown that the spontaneous symmetry breaking results three massive as well as three massless gauge bosons. The standard model theory according to which there exist three massive gauge bosons and a massless one is emerged from this model. In the framework ofSU(2)L x SU(2)R a small Dirac neutrino mass is derived. It is also shown that such mass term may vanish with a special choice. The Majorana mass term is not considered here and thus in this model the neutrino mass does not follow seesaw structure.  相似文献

We present a study of the inclusive photon spectra from 5.9 million J/ψ decays collected with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e+e collider. We measure the branching fraction of radiative decay J/ψ→ηcγ, ηc width and mass. Our preliminary results are: M(ηc) = 2979.4± 1.5 ± 1.9 MeV/c^2, Г(ηc) = 27.8±5.1 ±3.3 MeV, B(Jψ→ηcγ) = (2.34±0.15±0.40)%.  相似文献
