基于超常介质中超短脉冲传输的非线性薛定谔方程,解析得到了两种精确的亮、暗类孤子解,并详细讨论了在超常介质中该亮、暗类孤子的存在条件和传输特性.结果发现,在自散焦超常介质的正、负折射区域,该类亮孤子可以存在于反常色散区,这与常规介质中亮孤子存在于自散焦介质中的正常色散区不同;而在自聚焦超常介质的反常色散区,该类暗孤子可以存在于正、负折射率区,在自散焦超常介质的反常色散区,该类暗孤子仅存在于负折射区间.此外,我们数值研究了该类亮、暗孤子的存在条件不能严格满足时的传输稳定性,结果显示,在一定的归一化频率区间,该类亮、暗孤子都能够较稳定地传输. 相似文献

基于描述超短脉冲在超常介质中传输的非线性薛定谔方程,本文数值研究了高阶效应影响下高阶亮、暗孤子在超常介质中的传输情况。数值模拟表明,三阶色散和自陡峭效应都会引起高阶孤子的分裂和辐射,破坏高阶亮孤子周期性演化特性,导致高阶暗孤子分裂出的灰孤子不对称;孤子的阶数越高,三阶色散和自陡峭的影响越大。利用超常介质可控的色散和非线性特性,通过调节三阶色散和自陡峭效应的系数,发现超常介质中可以基本支持二阶亮孤子、二阶暗孤子和三阶暗孤子的稳定演化。本文的研究结果为将来进一步研究超常介质中高阶亮、暗孤子的存在及传输特性提供了一定的参考价值。 相似文献

利用F-函数扩展法求解超介质中的超短脉冲传输方程, 探讨了超介质中的反常自陡效应和特有的二阶非线性色散效应所导致的新的孤子现象和规律. 结果表明, 正折射区的二阶非线性色散效应可以代替线性色散效应形成亮孤子; 正、负折射区的反常自陡效应由于其符号可改变, 从而可在特定条件下分别在反常色散和正常色散区形成有别于常规介质的亮、暗孤子; 反常自陡效应的符号或者反常自陡效应和三阶线性色散效应的相互比较关系能够控制亮、暗孤子中心的漂移方向.

研究了电磁感应透明介质中高阶非线性效应对光孤子传输的影响。采用半经典理论获得介质对光场的线性和非线性响应,基于介质特性利用波动理论推演出三-五阶非线性薛定谔方程。介质的线性非线性特性分别决定了群速度色散参量,三阶和五阶非线性系数。研究结果表明,该非线性介质既可以诱导亮孤子也可以诱导暗孤子,取决于群速度色散参量和三阶非线性系数。当前者为负同时后者为正时产生亮孤子,当两者均为负时产生暗孤子,二者可以通过载频与相应跃迁能级失谐的调节获得。与普通非线性薛定谔方程相比,三-五阶非线性薛定谔方程对亮孤子和暗孤子出现的参数和输入条件更加严格。 相似文献

基于描述超材料中超短脉冲传输的高阶非线性薛定谔方程,采用行波法得到一种精确的飞秒准亮孤子解及其存在条件。研究发现,在群速度色散、三阶色散、三次-五次非线性、自陡峭和二阶非线性色散效应的精确平衡下,超材料中可存在该飞秒准孤子;当三阶色散和二阶非线性色散不存在时,该准孤子无法存在。基于Drude模型,详细讨论了不同非线性超材料中该飞秒准亮孤子存在的不同折射区域。结果表明,该飞秒准孤子可存在于自散焦非线性超材料的负折射区和自聚焦非线性超材料的正折射区,而且在不同区域具有不同的脉冲强度和宽度。这意味着,通过选择不同非线性超材料和输入电磁波的频率,使其位于相应的存在区域,可以实现对孤子特性的调控。 相似文献

A direct approach has been developed for soliton perturbations based on the Green's function. We first linearized the soliton equation, and then derived the Green's function corresponding to approximation equations of different orders. Finally, we obtained the effects of perturbation on a soliton, namely both the slow time dependence of the soliton parameters and the corrections up to the second-order approximation. A theory is presented to investigate the existence and propagation stability of gap solitons in a parity-time (PT) com- plex superlattice with dual periods. In this superlattice, the real and imaginary parts are both in the form of superlattices with dual periods. In the self-focusing nonlinearity, PT solitons can exist in the semi-infinite gap. However, only those gap solitons with low powers can propagate stably, whereas the high-power solitons present periodic oscillation and simultane- ously suffer energy decay. In the self-defocusing nonlinearity, PT solitons only exist in the first gap and all these solitons are stable. 相似文献

This paper investigates the adjacent interactions of three novel solitons for the
quintic complex Ginzburg--Landau equation, which are plain pulsating,
erupting and creeping solitons. It is found that different
performances are presented for different solitons due to isolated regions of
the parameter space where they exist. For example, plain pulsating and
erupting solitons exhibit mutual annihilation during collisions with the
decrease of total energy, but for creeping soliton, the two adjacent
pulses present soliton fusion without any loss of energy. Otherwise, the
method for restraining the interactions is also found and it can suppress
interactions between these two adjacent pulses effectively. 相似文献

用数值方法分析了平行传播异色光伏暗孤子之间及亮-暗孤子之间的相互作用.结果表明,光伏暗孤子共轴传播能在有限的距离内保持准孤子形态,靠近传播时存在着相互吸引的作用 ,而相距较远传播时表现为一孤子暗区使另一孤子的缓变光场部分发生局部会聚作用.光伏暗孤子与亮孤子的相互作用随距离的不同可使亮孤子光强分布变尖锐或变平缓,以及使亮孤子发生能量转移.从两束信号光共同引起折射率波导这一物理机理对光伏孤子这些相互作用给出定性物理解释.

Interaction of in-band and in-gap lattice soliton trains in optically induced two-dimensional photonic lattices 下载免费PDF全文
We demonstrate the coherent interactions of lattice
soliton trains, including in-band solitons (IBSs) and gap soliton
trains (GSTs), in optically induced two-dimensional photonic
lattices with self-defocusing nonlinearity. It is revealed that the
$\pi$-staggered phase structures of the lattice soliton trains will
lead to anomalous interactions. Solely by changing their initial
separations, the transition between attractive and repulsive
interaction forces or reversion of the energy transfer can be
obtained. The `negative refraction' effect of the soliton trains
on the interaction is also discussed. Moreover, two interacting IBSs
can merge into one GST when attraction or energy transfer

We present a class of exact solutions to the coupled (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with spatially modulated nonlinearity and a special external potential, which describe the evolution of two-component vector solitons in defocusing Kerr-type media. We find a robust soliton solution, constructed with the help of Whittaker functions. For specific choices of the topological charge, the radial mode number and the modulation depth, the solitons may exist in various forms, such as the half-moon, necklace-ring, and sawtooth vortex-ring patterns. Our results show that the profile of such solitons can be effectively controlled by the topological charge, the radial mode number, and the modulation depth. 相似文献
