We numerically study the interaction dynamics of two bright solitons with zero initial velocities in the one-dimensional dipolar Bose-Einstein condensates. Under different dipolar strengths, the two bright solitons can merge into a breathing wave, and then split or propagate constantly after several oscillating periods. We quantitatively study the breathing frequency of wave after merging and the asymmetry property of solitons after splitting, and analyze their formation mechanism by the system's energy evolution. Also, the change of initial phase difference brings distinct effects on the soliton interaction. Our results provide insight into the new dynamical phenomena in dipolar systems and enrich the understanding for interaction between dipolar solitons.  相似文献

研究了电磁感应透明介质中高阶非线性效应对光孤子传输的影响。采用半经典理论获得介质对光场的线性和非线性响应,基于介质特性利用波动理论推演出三-五阶非线性薛定谔方程。介质的线性非线性特性分别决定了群速度色散参量,三阶和五阶非线性系数。研究结果表明,该非线性介质既可以诱导亮孤子也可以诱导暗孤子,取决于群速度色散参量和三阶非线性系数。当前者为负同时后者为正时产生亮孤子,当两者均为负时产生暗孤子,二者可以通过载频与相应跃迁能级失谐的调节获得。与普通非线性薛定谔方程相比,三-五阶非线性薛定谔方程对亮孤子和暗孤子出现的参数和输入条件更加严格。  相似文献

We study the interaction between breather and N-order rogue waves in a nonlinear optical fiber.The impacts of the relative phase and the interaction distance between breathers and rogue waves are discussed in detail.Specifically,the breather can reduce the maximum hump value of high-order rogue waves greatly in the cases of nonzero relative phase or nonzero interaction distance.The characteristic of exclusion between breathers and rogue waves is described qualitatively in the situation of different interaction distances,which can be used to change the temporal-spatial distribution of rogue waves.Their interaction properties are characterized by the trajectory of localized waves' valleys and humps.It is shown that the interaction changes the dynamical evolution trajectory of rogue waves and breathers.These results provide some possible ways to control high-order rogue waves.  相似文献

This paper presents a new metric and studies slowly rotating Gauss-Bonnet black holes with a nonvanishing angular momentum in five dimensional anti-de Sitter spaces.Taking the angular momentum parameter a up to second order,the slowly rotating black hole solutions are obtained by working directly in the action.In addition,it also finds that this method is applicable in higher order Lovelock gravity.  相似文献

The gravitational effect of spontaneous symmetry breaking vacuum energy density is investigated by subtracting the flat space-time contribution from the energy in the curved space-time. We find that the remaining effective energy-momentum tensor is too small to cause the acceleration of the universe, although it satisfies the characteristics of dark energy. However, it could provide a promising explanation to the puzzle of why the gravitational effect produced by the huge symmetry breaking vacuum energy in the electroweak theory has not been observed, as it has a sufficiently small value (smaller than the observed cosmic energy density by a factor of 1032).  相似文献

We analytically present a family of nonautonomous dark solitons and rogue waves in a planar graded-index grating waveguide with an additional long-period grating.The dark solitons whose dynamics described by the explicit expressions such as the valley,background and wave central position are investigated.We find that dark soliton's depth and the long-period grating have effects on soliton's wave central position;the gain or loss term affects directly both the background and valley of the soliton.For rogue waves,it is reported that one can modulate the distribution of the light intensity by adjusting the parameters of the long-period grating.Additionally,more rogue waves with different evolution behaviors in this special waveguide are demonstrated clearly.  相似文献
