采用线性组合算符和幺正变换,利用变分法计算了多原子半无限极性晶体中由电子和光学声子强耦合相互作用所产生的磁极化子的第一激发能量及平均声子数,并通过适当的数值计算图示了它们与磁场的关系。结果表明:在不同的磁场条件下,电子无限接近晶体表面和电子处于晶体深处时,磁极化子的第一激发能量和平均声子数都有所不同。  相似文献

利用非平衡格林函数方法研究了石墨纳米带中三空穴错位分布对热输运性质的影响.研究结果发现:三空穴竖直并排结构对低频声子的散射较小,导致低温区域三空穴竖直并排时热导最大,而在高频区域,三空穴竖直并排结构对高频声子的散射较大,导致较高温度区域三空穴竖直并排时热导最小;三空穴的相对错位分布仅能较大幅度地调节面内声学模高频声子的透射概率,而三空穴的相对错位分布能较大幅度地调节垂直振动膜高频声子和低频声子的透射概率,导致三空穴的相对错位分布不仅能大幅调节面内声学模和垂直振动模的高温热导,也能大幅调节垂直振动模的低温热导.研究结果阐明了空穴位置不同的石墨纳米带的热导特性,为设计基于石墨纳米带的热输运量子器件提供了有效的理论依据.  相似文献

Properties of phonons-quanta of the crystal lattice vibrations-in graphene have recently attracted significant attention from the physics and engineering communities. Acoustic phonons are the main heat carriers in graphene near room temperature, while optical phonons are used for counting the number of atomic planes in Raman experiments with few-layer graphene. It was shown both theoretically and experimentally that transport properties of phonons, i.e. energy dispersion and scattering rates, are substantially different in a quasi-two-dimensional system such as graphene compared to the basal planes in graphite or three-dimensional bulk crystals. The unique nature of two-dimensional phonon transport translates into unusual heat conduction in graphene and related materials. In this review, we outline different theoretical approaches developed for phonon transport in graphene, discuss contributions of the in-plane and cross-plane phonon modes, and provide comparison with available experimental thermal conductivity data. Particular attention is given to analysis of recent results for the phonon thermal conductivity of single-layer graphene and few-layer graphene, and the effects of the strain, defects, and isotopes on phonon transport in these systems.  相似文献

在经典的物理学理论中,声子广泛地被认为是线极化的、不具有角动量的.最近的理论研究发现,在具有自旋声子相互作用的磁性体系(时间反演对称性破缺)中,声子可以携带非零的角动量,在零温时声子除了具有零点能以外还带有零点角动量;非零的声子角动量将会修正通过爱因斯坦-德哈斯效应测量的回磁比.在非磁性材料中,总的声子角动量为零,但是在空间反演对称性破缺的六角晶格体系中,其倒格子空间的高对称点上声子具有角动量,并具有确定的手性;三重旋转对称操作给予声子量子化的赝角动量,赝角动量的守恒将决定电子谷间散射的选择定则;此外还理论预测了谷声子霍尔效应.  相似文献

The electron spin relaxation times by piezoelectric and polar optical phonon scattering in GaAs are calculated using the formula derived from the projection-reduction method. The temperature, magnetic field, and electron density dependences of the relaxation time are investigated. The electrons are found to be scattered mostly by piezoelectric phonons at low temperatures and polar optical phonons at high temperatures. The electron density affects the magnetic field dependence of the relaxation time at low temperatures but have only slight affects at high temperatures.  相似文献

We numerically analyze the interaction of small-amplitude phonon waves with standing gap discrete breather (DB) in strained graphene. To make the system support gap DB, strain is applied to create a gap in the phonon spectrum. We only focus on the in-plane phonons and DB, so the issue is investigated under a quasi-one-dimensional setup. It is found that, for the longitudinal sound waves having frequencies below 6 THz, DB is transparent and thus no radiation of energy from DB takes place; whereas for those sound waves with higher frequencies within the acoustic (optical) phonon band, phonon is mainly transmitted (reflected) by DB, and concomitantly, DB radiates its energy when interacting with phonons. The latter case is supported by the fact that, the sum of the transmitted and reflected phonon energy densities is noticeably higher than that of the incident wave. Our results here may provide insight into energy transport in graphene when the spatially localized nonlinear vibration modes are presented.  相似文献

We develop a theory for the renormalization of the phonon energy dispersion in graphene due to the combined effects of both Coulomb and electron-phonon (e-ph) interactions. We obtain the renormalized phonon energy spectrum by an exact analytic derivation of the phonon self-energy, finding three distinct Kohn anomalies (KAs) at the phonon wave vector q=omega/v, 2k_{F}+/-omega/v for LO phonons and one at q=omega/v for TO phonons. The presence of these new KAs in graphene, in contrast to the usual KA q=2k_{F} in ordinary metals, originates from the dynamical screening of e-ph interaction (with a concomitant breakdown of the Born-Oppenheimer approximation) and the peculiar chirality of the graphene e-ph coupling.  相似文献

采用非平衡格林函数方法, 在保持总的能量输出通道中石墨链数不变的条件下, 研究并比较了并列的石墨纳米带通道中弹性声学声子输运和热导特性. 结果表明, 能量输出通道的增加能降低每个能量输出通道的热导; 与能量输入热库最近的能量输出通道热导最大, 最远的能量输出通道热导最小; 中间能量输出通道的热导性质与并列的各输出通道的结构参数密切相关, 最近和最远的能量输出通道的热导性质仅与各自能量输出通道的结构参数有关; 粗糙边缘结构能有效调节各通道的热导; 总的热导性质与能量输出通道石墨链数、能量输出通道数以及边缘结构粗糙程度密切相关.  相似文献

采用改进的线性组合算符和LLP变分法,研究了外磁场对量子阱中电子与界面光学声子强耦合、与体纵光学声子弱耦合磁极化子的有效质量的影响。对AgCl/KI量子阱进行了数值计算,结果表明,磁极化子的有效质量随阱宽的增加而减小,随磁场的增强而增大,但不同支声子与电子和磁场相互作用对磁极化子有效质量的贡献大不相同。  相似文献

研究了量子线中弱耦合磁极化子的性质.采用线性组合算符和微扰法导出量子线中弱耦合磁极化子的基态能量.在计及电子在反冲效应中发射和吸收不同波矢的声子之间的相互作用时,讨论了量子线的受限强度、电子-LO声子耦合强度和声子之间相互作用对量子线中弱耦合磁极化子的基态能量的影响.数值计算结果表明:量子线中弱耦合磁极化子的基态能量随量子线的受限强度ω0的增大而迅速增大.当受限强度ω0取相同值时,电子-声子耦合强度α越大基态能量E0越小,磁场的回旋频率ωe越大基态能量E0越大.在弱磁场情况下,当ω0<0.5时,随着量子线的受限强度ω0的减少p值迅速增大,即对于弱磁场声子之间相互作用的影响不能忽略.  相似文献

The optical phonon damping in an electron-phonon system in a semiconductor in the presence of laser and magnetic fields is calculated. It is found that the application of a magnetic field parallel to the laser field direction stimulates a stronger amplification of optical phonons as the electron cyclotron frequency approaches the laser frequency.  相似文献

在外加垂直磁场的石墨烯系统中,基于格林函数方法以自能的形式理论研究了电荷杂质散射和光学声子散射中心对朗道能谱的影响,采用久保(Kubo)公式研究了单层石墨烯的磁光电导谱以及跃迁选择定则。具体计算中电子-杂质库仑相互作用考虑了介电环境的屏蔽效应,对由散射引起的自能以及单粒子格林函数做自洽计算,另外在强磁场下单杂质散射是一个很好的近似模型。理论计算结果表明电荷杂质散射引起朗道能级对称展宽;同时考虑电荷杂质和光学声子两类散射后态密度表现为非对称的展宽。研究结果表明磁光电导谱的峰值和强度强烈依赖于填充因子和态密度。  相似文献

A quantum theory of free carrier absorption in nondegenerate semiconductors and in strong magnetic fields which was previously developed to treat the case when acoustic phonon scattering dominates the free carrier absorption process [1] is extended to treat the case when nonpolar optical scattering is important. When the electromagnetic radiation field is polarized parallel to the direction of the applied magnetic field, results are obtained which are similar to those when acoustic phonon scattering is dominant. The free carrier absorption is an oscillatory function of the magnetic field which on the average increases in magnitude with the magnetic field. However, more structure in the free carrier absorption occurs when nonpolar optical phonon scattering dominates. This is due to the fact that there are two periods in the oscillatory magnetic field dependence associated with the emission or the absorption of optical phonons during the intraband transitions. When the cyclotron frequency exceeds the sum of the photon and optical phonon frequencies, i.e. ωc > θ + ωo, the free carrier absorption is predicted to increase linearly with magnetic field when ?ωc? kBT. The magnetic field dependence of the free carrier absorption can be explained in terms of phonon-assisted transitions between the various Landau levels in a band involving the emission and absorption of optical phonons.  相似文献

The theory of the anomalous Hall effect for the heat transfer in a parmagnetic dielectric, discovered by Strohm, Rikken, and Wyder [Phys. Rev. Lett. 95, 155901 (2005)]10.1103/PhysRevLett.95.155901, is developed. The appearance of the phonon heat flux normal to both the temperature gradient and the magnetic field is connected with the interaction of magnetic ions with the crystal field oscillations. In crystals with an arbitrary phonon spectrum this interaction creates the elliptical polarization of phonons. The kinetics related to phonon scattering induced by the spin-phonon interaction determines an origin of the off-diagonal phonon density matrix. The combination of both factors is decisive for the phenomenon under consideration.  相似文献

Hot carrier cooling in few-layer and multilayer epitaxial graphene on SiC, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) grown graphene transferred onto a glass substrate was investigated by transient absorption spectroscopy and imaging. Coupling to the substrate was found to play a critical role in charge carrier cooling. For both multilayer epitaxial graphene and monolayer CVD graphene, charge carriers transfer heat predominantly to intrinsic in-plane optical phonons of graphene. At high pump intensity, a significant number of optical phonons are accumulated, and the optical phonon lifetime presents a bottleneck for charge carrier cooling. This hot phonon effect did not occur in few-layer epitaxial graphene because of strong coupling to the substrate, which provided additional cooling channels. The limiting charge carrier lifetimes at high excitation densities were 1.8 ± 0.1 ps and 1.4 ± 0.1 ps for multilayer epitaxial graphene and monolayer CVD graphene, respectively. These values represent lower limits on the optical phonon lifetime for the graphene samples.  相似文献

We study theoretically the interaction between excitons and longitudinal optical (LO) phonons in a cylindrical disk-like semiconductor quantum dot under an applied magnetic field. Due to the intensity of the interaction in the strong coupling regime, a composite quasi-particle called exciton–polaron is formed. We focus on the effect of the disk size and an external magnetic field on the exciton–phonon interaction energy and the exciton–polaron modes. The numerical computation for a CdSe quantum disk have shown that the exciton–phonon interaction energy is very significant and is even dominant when the disk height is small, which leads to a large Rabi splitting between the exciton–polaron modes. We investigate also the effect of the temperature on the integrated photoluminescence (PL) intensity, and show that at relatively high temperature the LO phonons have a noticeable effect on it. This physical parameter also shows a great dependence on quantum disk size and on magnetic field.  相似文献

Rotation and reflection symmetries impose that out-of-plane (flexural) phonons of freestanding graphene membranes have a quadratic dispersion at long wavelength and can be excited by charge carriers in pairs only. As a result, we find that flexural phonons dominate the phonon contribution to the resistivity rho below a crossover temperature T(x) where we obtain an anomalous temperature dependence rho proportional, variantT(5/2)lnT. The logarithmic factor arises from renormalizations of the flexural-phonon dispersion due to coupling between bending and stretching degrees of freedom of the membrane.  相似文献

The Larsen perturbation method is adopted to study the influence of magnetic fields on polarons in realistic heterojunctions in a quasi-two-dimension approximation. The interaction between an electron and both the bulk longitudinal optical phonons and the two branches of interface optical phonons is taken into account to show the influence of magnetic fields at different ranges on the polaron cyclotron mass due to the coupling of the electron with each branch of phonon modes. The result indicates that not only do the bulk phonons influence the polaron cyclotron mass, but the interface phonons do as well. The pressure effect on the cyclotron mass is also discussed.  相似文献
