ANL (Argonne National Laboratory) and the National Science Center “Kharkov Institute of Physics Technology” (NSC KIPT, Kharkov, Ukraine) jointly propose to design and build a 100 MeV/100 kW linear accelerator which will be used to drive the neutron source subcritical assembly. The linac has almost finished assembly in KIPT by a team from the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP, Beijing, China). The design and measurement result of the accelerating system of the linac will be described in this paper.  相似文献

It is sponsored by the Institute of High Energy Physics and assisted by the Institute of Modern Physics,the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a monthly journal,96 pages each issue,distributed both at home and abroad.   This journal publishes research papers on theories,experiments and applications in particle physics,nuclear physics,cosmic ray physics,accelerators,synchrotron radiation and other related fields in Chinese with English abstracts. It really reflects the current level of our country in these fields,is of benefit to development of science and talented young people,and promotes the academic exchange with foreign countries. It contains a special column called “Letters”(in English) carrying short reports on the latest important scientific results,published fast in about 6 months. Prior and rapid publication is given to the breakthrough researches,especially supported by State Projects and National Natural Science Foundation. In general,articles adopted can be published within period of about one year and belong to those published faster in same kind of Chinese journals.   On the editorial board,there are near fifty distinguished scholars,including 10 Fellows of Chinese Academy of Sciences and of Chinese Academy of Engineering. The design and construction of Beijing Radioactive Ion-beam Facility (BRIF) was started at China Institute of Atomic Energy -CIAE) in 2004. In this project, a 100 MeV high intensity cyclotron, CYCIAE-100, is selected as a driving accelerator for radioactive ion beam production. Research and development of a 1.3 GHz 9-cell cavity test cryomodule were carried out by a collaboration group between IHEP (Institute of High Energy Physics) and TIPC (Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry) in China. The cryomodule is a "test model" for the ILC cryomodule, and a key component of a superconducting accelerator test unit which will be built in the near future, also can be used as a horizontal test facility for 1.3~GHz 9-cell cavities. This paper presents the development status of the cryomodule, including structure design, cryogenic flow diagram, thermal and mechanical simulations, heat load estimation and etc.  相似文献
