1987年Z.Ditzian提出了反映Bernstein算子收敛阶与所逼近函数光滑模之间关系的一个定理,并在α+β≤2情形下给出了这个定理的证明.对于α+β》2情形,Z.Ditzian给出了猜想.1992年周定轩证明了Z.Ditzian的猜想,完成了Z.Ditzian定理的证明.本文对于Z.Ditzian定理给出了一个新的直接证明,这个证明不需要讨论α,β的情况,而且还将Z.Ditzian定理拓广到Bernstein算子线性组合上.  相似文献

H. Bass defined orthogonal transvection group of an orthogonal module and elementary orthogonal transvection group of an orthogonal module with a hyperbolic direct summand. We also have the notion of relative orthogonal transvection group and relative elementary orthogonal transvection group with respect to an ideal of the ring. According to the definition of Bass relative elementary orthogonal transvection group is a subgroup of the relative orthogonal transvection group of an orthogonal module with hyperbolic direct summand. Here we show that these two groups are the same in the case when the orthogonal module splits locally.  相似文献

We are concerned with finite-dimensional classical groups over arbitrary commutative fields. In an orthogonal group a Siegel transvection, that is, an element centralizing l for some totally singular 2-dimensional subspace l, plays the same role as a transvection in the linear, symplectic or unitary groups. The Main Theorem of this paper describes the possible embeddings of classical groups in classical groups such that (Siegel) transvections act as (Siegel) transvections.  相似文献

In this paper, first we investigate the invariant rings of the finite groups G ≤ GL(n, F_q) generated by i-transvections and i-reflections with given invariant subspaces H over a finite field F_q in the modular case. Then we are concerned with general groups G_i(ω) and G_i(ω)~t named generalized transvection groups where ωis a k-th root of unity. By constructing quotient group and tensor, we calculate their invariant rings. In the end, we determine the properties of Cohen-Macaulay,Gorenstein, complete intersection, polynomial and Poincare series of these rings.  相似文献

We investigate the invariant rings of two classes of finite groups G ≤ GL(n, F q) which are generated by a number of generalized transvections with an invariant subspace H over a finite field F q in the modular case. We name these groups generalized transvection groups. One class is concerned with a given invariant subspace which involves roots of unity. Constructing quotient groups and tensors, we deduce the invariant rings and study their Cohen-Macaulay and Gorenstein properties. The other is concerned with different invariant subspaces which have the same dimension. We provide a explicit classification of these groups and calculate their invariant rings.  相似文献

Immersions with parallel pluri-mean curvature into euclidean n-space generalize constant mean curvature immersions of surfaces to Kähler manifolds of complex dimension m. Examples are the standard embeddings of Kähler symmetric spaces into the Lie algebra of its transvection group. We give a lower bound for the codimension of arbitrary ppmc immersions. In particular we show that M is locally symmetric if the codimension is minimal.  相似文献

Set-theoretic solutions to the Yang-Baxter equation of multipermutation level two are classified via transvection orbits which are abelian torsors. The relationship to square-free solutions and rack solutions is determined by using the square map and its relationship to non-degeneracy of the corresponding cycle set. The crucial role of left and right ideal powers of braces is discussed in connection with applications to higher multipermutation level. As an illustration, we give a simple proof of a recent theorem of Smoktunowicz on braces with nilpotent adjoint group, and a classification of braces with multipermutation level two, removing the finiteness in Smoktunowicz’ theorem for such braces.

The problem of determination of Abelian groups (up to isomorphism) by their rings of endomorphisms in the class of completely decomposable torsion-free Abelian groups has been solved earlier. For the class of direct sums of rational groups, one can speak of determination of Abelian groups by rational representations of their endomorphism rings up to equality. In this paper, we consider this problem for the class of finite direct sums of rational groups and for some subclasses.  相似文献

The paper reviews the author’s results in the theory of elementary nets (carpets). In particular, closed (admissible) nets are investigated. For an elementary net (a net considered without the diagonal) of additive subgroups of an arbitrary commutative ring, the concepts of the derivative net, the closure of the net, and the net associated with the elementary group are introduced. Factorization of the elementary groups is proposed. This factorization is then used to construct an example of a closed (admissible) net which cannot be completed to a (complete) net. For a third-order elementary net σ of additive subgroups of a commutative ring, decomposition of an elementary transvection from the elementary group E(σ) is obtained.  相似文献
