Additive preservers of Drazin invertible operators with bounded index

Let B(X) be the algebra of all bounded linear operators on an infinite-dimensional complex or real Banach space X. Given an integer n ≥ 1, we show that an additive surjective map Φ on B(X)preserves Drazin invertible operators of index non-greater than n in both directions if and only if Φ is either of the form Φ(T) = αATA~(-1) or of the form Φ(T) = αBT~*B~(-1) where α is a non-zero scalar,A:X → X and B:X~*→ X are two bounded invertible linear or conjugate linear operators.     

自反代数的环自同构和环反自同构

Let X be a separable infinite dimensional Banach space and B(X) denote its operator algebra,the algebra of all bounded linear operators T : X → X.Define a left multiplication mapping LT : B(X) → B(X) by LT (V ) = T V,V ∈ B(X).We investigate the connections between hypercyclic and chaotic behaviors of the left multiplication mapping LT on B(X) and that of operator T on X.We obtain that LT is SOT-hypercyclic if and only if T satisfies the Hypercyclicity Criterion.If we define chaos on B(X) as SOT-hypercyclicity plus SOT-dense subset of periodic points,we also get that LT is chaotic if and only if T is chaotic in the sense of Devaney.

An algebraic invariant for Jordan automorphisms on B(H): The set of idempotents

Let H be an infinite dimensional complex Hilbert space. Denote by B(H)the algebra of all bounded linear operators on H, and by I(H) the set of all idempotents in B(H). Suppose that φ is a surjective map from B(H) onto itself. If for everyλ∈ {-1, 1, 2, 3, 1/2, 1/3} and A, B ∈ B(H), A - λB ∈ I(H) (→)φ(A) - λφ(B) ∈ I(H), then φis a Jordan ring automorphism, i.e. there exists a continuous invertible linear or conjugate linear operator T on H such that φ(A) = TAT-1 for all A ∈ B(H), or φ(A) = TA*T-1 for all A ∈ B(H); if, in addition, A - iB ∈ I(H) (→)φ(A) - iφ(B) ∈ I(H), here i is the imaginary unit, then φ is either an automorphism or an anti-automorphism.

Ideals in the Roe Algebras of Discrete Metric Spaces with Coefficients in B(H)

The notion of an ideal family of weighted subspaces of a discrete metric space X with bounded geometry is introduced.It is shown that,if X has Yu's property A,the ideal structure of the Roe algebra of X with coefficients in B(H) is completely characterized by the ideal families of weighted subspaces of X,where B(H) denotes the C*-algebra of bounded linear operators on a separable Hilbert space H.     

Linear Maps Preserving Generalized Invertibility

Let H be an infinite-dimensional complex separable Hilbert space and the algebra of all bounded linear operators on H. Let be a bijective continuous unital linear map preserving generalized invertibility in both directions. Then the ideal of all compact operators is invariant under ϕ and the induced linear map on the Calkin algebra is either an automorphism or an antiautomorphism.     

Additive Maps Preserving the Star Partial Order on $\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$

Let $\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ be the $C^∗$-algebra of all bounded linear operators on a complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$. It is proved that an additive surjective map $φ$ on $\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ preserving the star partial order in both directions if and only if one of the following assertions holds. (1) There exist a nonzero complex number $α$ and two unitary operators $\boldsymbol{U}$and$\boldsymbol{V}$ on $\mathcal{H}$ such that $φ(\boldsymbol{X}) = α\boldsymbol{UXV}$or $φ(\boldsymbol{X}) = α\boldsymbol{UX}^∗\boldsymbol{V}$ for all $X ∈ \mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$. (2) There exist a nonzero $α$ and two anti-unitary operators$\boldsymbol{U}$and$\boldsymbol{V}$on $\mathcal{H}$ such that $φ(\boldsymbol{X}) = α\boldsymbol{UXV}$ or $φ(\boldsymbol{X}) = α\boldsymbol{UX}^∗\boldsymbol{V}$ for all $X ∈ \mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$.

在文山中我们对非线性Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ算子定义了其Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ对偶算子，并证明了任意非线性Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ算子的Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ对偶算子是一个定义在Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ对偶空间上的有界线性算子．本文还进一步证明：设Ｃ为 Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间 Ｘ的闭子集，Ｃ＊Ｌ为Ｃ的 Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ对偶空间，Ｕ为 Ｃ＊Ｌ上的有界线性算子，则当且仅当 Ｕ为 ｗ＊－ｗ＊连续的同态变换时，存在Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ连续算子Ｔ，使Ｕ为Ｔ的Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ对偶算子．这一结论的理论意义在于：它表明一个非线性Ｌｉｐｓｃｈｉｔｚ算子的可逆性问题可转化为有界线性算子的可逆性问题．作为应用，通过引入一个新概念──ＰＸ－对偶算子，在一般框架下给出了非线性算子半群的生成定理．     

B(X)上保持算子拟仿射性或值域稠性的线性映射

设X和Y是无限维的复Banach空间,Φ是从B(X)到B(Y)保单位的线性满射.本文证明了Φ双边保算子的拟仿射性当且仅当Φ为同构或反同构;Φ双边保算子的值域稠性当且仅当Φ是同构.     

保持算子截断的可加映射

Let H be a complex Hilbert space and B(H)the algebra of all bounded linear operators on H.An operator A is called the truncation of B in B(H)if A=P_ABP_A^*,where PA and P_A^*denote projections onto the closures of R(A)and R(A^*),respectively.In this paper,we determine the structures of all additive surjective maps on B(H)preserving the truncation of operators in both directions.     

因子von Neumann代数上导子的等价刻画

设R是含非平凡幂等元P的素环,C∈R,C=PC.本文证明可加映射△:R→R在C可导,即△(AB)=△(A)B+A△(B),A,B∈R,AB=C当且仅当存在导子δ:R→R,使得△(A)=δ(A)+△(I)A,A∈R.没有I_1型中心直和项的von Neumann代数上的可导映射也有类似结论.利用该结论证明了,若非零算子C∈B(X),使得ran(C)或ker(C)在X中可补,则可加映射△:B(X)→B(X)在C可导当且仅当它是导子.特别地,证明了因子von Neumann代数上的可加映射在任意但固定的非零算子可导当且仅当它是导子.     

A characterization of generalized derivations of JSL algebras

Let AlgL be a J-subspace lattice algebra on a Banach space X and M be an operator in AlgL. We prove that if δ : AlgL → B(X) is a linear mapping satisfying δ(AB) = δ(A)B + Aδ(B)for all A, B ∈ AlgL with AMB = 0, then δ is a generalized derivation. This result can be applied to atomic Boolean subspace lattice algebras and pentagon subspace lattice algebras.
