We consider the possibility to construct efficient stability criteria for solutions to difference equations with variable coefficients. We prove that one can associate a difference equation with a certain functional differential equation, whose solution has the same asymptotic behavior. We adduce examples, demonstrating the essential character of conditions of the obtained theorems and the exactness of the constant 3/2 which defines the boundary of the stability domain.  相似文献

Sufficient conditions for the stability with respect to part of the functional differential equation variables are given. These conditions utilize Lyapunov functions to determine the uniform stability and uniform asymptotic stability of functional differential equations. These conditions for the partial stability develop the Razumikhin theorems on uniform stability and uniform asymptotic stability of functional differential equations. An example is presented which demonstrates these results and gives insight into the new stability conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the global nonlinear stability of longitudinal wave for the planar motion of elastic string with linear Hooke's law. First, we will give the representation of the traveling wave solution to the recast hyperbolic system. Because multifunctions do not have so good properties as single-valued functions, only the existence of solutions of the polynomial-like iterative equation of order 2 is discussed for multi functions. This article gives conditions for its Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability. As a consequence, the authors obtain its Hyers-Ulam stability and prove that the equation has a unique multivalued solution near an approximate multivalued solution.  相似文献

We study stability of antisymmetric periodic solutions to delay differential equations. We introduce a one-parameter family of periodic solutions to a special system of ordinary differential equations with a variable period. Conditions for stability of an antisymmetric periodic solution to a delay differential equation are stated in terms of this period function.  相似文献

We investigate reaction–diffusion equation with spatio-temporal delays, the global existence, uniqueness and asymptotic behavior of solutions for which in relation to constant steady-state solution, included in the region of attraction of a stable steady solution. It is shown that if the delay reaction function satisfies some conditions and the system possesses a pair of upper and lower solutions then there exists a unique global solution. In terms of the maximal and minimal constant solutions of the corresponding steady-state problem, we get the asymptotic stability of reaction–diffusion equation with spatio-temporal delay. Applying this theory to Lotka–Volterra model with spatio-temporal delay, we get the global solution asymptotically tend to the steady-state problem’s steady-state solution.  相似文献

本文研究求解滞时微分方程的θ-方法数值解的渐近性和方程真实解的关系。首先,我们把数值方法看成以步长为参数的动力系统,考察非线性滞时微分方程θ-方法的数值稳定性。并且证明了A-稳定的θ-方法是NP-稳定的。其次我们证明了θ-方法没有伪不动点,还研究了伪周期2解的存在性。最后我们给出一个例子说明了滞时微分方程θ-方法产生的伪周期2解是不稳定的。  相似文献

A monotone finite element scheme is obtained by applying the finite element method to the viscosity equation of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation on unstructured meshes. Under some constraints, we show that this scheme is monotone and its numerical solution converges to the viscosity solution of the Hamilton-Jacobi equa-tion.
