On Some Properties of $c$-Frames

In this paper we discuss about $c$-frames, namely continuous frames. Since, $c$-frames are generalizations of discrete frames, we generalize some results of discrete frames to continuous version. We explain some results about relations of projections in Hilbert spaces and $c$-frames to characterize these frames. Also, we will specify (precisely) the synthesis and frame operators of Bochner integrable $c$-frames. Finally, we classify Hilbert-Schmidt operators by $c$-frames and express some new identities for Parseval $c$-frames.     

APPROXIMATE DUALITY OF g-FRAMES IN HILBERT SPACES

In this article, we introduce and characterize approximate duality for g-frames. We get some important properties and applications of approximate duals. We also obtain some new results in approximate duality of frames, and generalize some of the known results in approximate duality of frames to g-frames. We also get some results for fusion frames, and perturbation of approximately dual g-frames. We show that approximate duals are stable under small perturbations and they are useful for erasures and reconstruction.     

(p,Y)-算子框架的稳定性

In this paper we study the stability of（p,Y）-operator frames.We firstly discuss the relations between p-Bessel sequences（or p-frames） and（p,Y）-operator Bessel sequences（or（p,Y）-operator frames）.Through defining a new union,we prove that adding some elements to a given（p,Y）-operator frame,the resulted sequence will be still a（p,Y）-operator frame.We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a sequence of compound operators to be a（p,Y）operator frame.Lastly,we show that（p,Y）-operator frames for X are stable under some small perturbations.     

A Filter-Based Pattern Search Method for Unconstrained Optimization

We discuss a filter-based pattern search method for unconstrained optimization in this paper. For the purpose to broaden the search range we use both filter technique and frames, which are fragments of grids, to provide a new criterion of iterate acceptance. The convergence can be ensured under some conditions. The numerical result shows that this method is practical and efficient.     

Construction of two-direction tight wavelet frames

We investigate the construction of two-direction tight wavelet frames First, a sufficient condition for a two-direction refinable function generating two-direction tight wavelet frames is derived. Second, a simple constructive method of two-direction tight wavelet frames is given. Third, based on the obtained two-direction tight wavelet frames, one can construct a symmetric multiwavelet frame easily. Finally, some examples are given to illustrate the results.     

Necessary conditions for Gabor frames

The goal of this paper is to establish a set of necessary conditions for Gabor frames. These conditions are also sufficient for tight frames.

Robustness and Iterative Reconstruction of $g$-Fusion Frames in Hilbert Spaces

Regarding the application of the fusion frames and generalization of them in data proceeding, their iterative is of particular importance when one of their members is deleted. In this note, a method for reconstruction of generalized fusion frames and error operator with its upper bound are presented. Also, the approximation operator for these frames will be introduced and we study some results about them.     

A Characterization of MRA Based Wavelet Frames Generated by the Walsh Polynomials

Extension Principles play a significant role in the construction of MRA based wavelet frames and have attracted much attention for their potential applications in various scientific fields. A novel and simple procedure for the construction of tight wavelet frames generated by the Walsh polynomials using Extension Principles was recently considered by Shah in [Tight wavelet frames generated by the Walsh poly-nomials, Int. J. Wavelets, Multiresolut. Inf. Process., 11(6) (2013), 1350042]. In this paper, we establish a complete characterization of tight wavelet frames generated by the Walsh polynomials in terms of the polyphase matrices formed by the polyphase components of the Walsh polynomials.     

TWO CONDITIONS FOR NONUNIFORM GABOR FRAMES

A necessary condition is given for general nonuniform Gabor frames, which generalizes Benedetto and Walnut's theorem. A sufficient and necessary condition for a class of nonuniform Gabor frames is proved.     

g-Besselian frames in Hilbert spaces

In this paper, we introduce the concept of a g-Besselian frame in a Hilbert space and discuss the relations between a g-Besselian frame and a Besselian frame. We also give some characterizations of g-Besselian frames. In the end of this paper, we discuss the stability of g-Besselian frames. Our results show that the relations and the characterizations between a g-Besselian frame and a Besselian frame are different from the corresponding results of g-frames and frames.     

Perturbation of wavelet and Gabor frames

In this work two aspects of theory of frames are presented: a side necessary condition on irregular wavelet frames is obtained, another perturbation of wavelet and Gabor frames is considered. Specifically,we present the results obtained on frame stability when one disturbs the mother of wavelet frame, or the parameter of dilatation, and in Gabor frames when the generating function or the parameter of translation are perturbed. In all cases we work without demanding compactness of the support, neither on the generating function, nor on its Fourier transform.     

Compressed data separation via dual frames based split-analysis with Weibull matrices

In this paper, we consider data separation problem, where the original signal is composed of two distinct subcomponents, via dual frames based Split-analysis approach. We show that the two distinct subcomponents, which are sparse in two diff erent general frames respectively, can be exactly recovered with high probability, when the measurement matrix is a Weibull random matrix （not Gaussian） and the two frames satisfy a mutual coherence property. Our result may be significant for analysing Split-analysis model for data separation.     

Perturbations of frames

In this paper, we give some sufficient conditions under which perturbations preserve Hilbert frames and near-Riesz bases. Similar results are also extended to frame sequences, Riesz sequences and Schauder frames. It is worth mentioning that some of our perturbation conditions are quite different from those used in the previous literatures on this topic.     

Rational time-frequency multi-window subspace Gabor frames and their Gabor duals

This paper addresses the theory of multi-window subspace Gabor frame with rational time-frequency parameter products.With the help of a suitable Zak transform matrix,we characterize multi-window subspace Gabor frames,Riesz bases,orthonormal bases and the uniqueness of Gabor duals of type I and type II.Using these characterizations we obtain a class of multi-window subspace Gabor frames,Riesz bases,orthonormal bases,and at the same time we derive an explicit expression of their Gabor duals of type I and type II.As an application of the above results,we obtain characterizations of multi-window Gabor frames,Riesz bases and orthonormal bases for L2(R),and derive a parametric expression of Gabor duals for multi-window Gabor frames in L2(R).     

Metrics and Connections on the Bundle of Affinor Frames

In this paper the authors consider the bundle of affinor frames over a smooth manifold,define the Sasaki metric on this bundle,and investigate the Levi-Civita connection of Sasaki metric.Also the authors determine the horizontal lifts of symmetric linear connection from a manifold to the bundle of affinor frames and study the geodesic curves corresponding to the horizontal lift of the linear connection.

Newton interpolation and Thiele-type continued fractions interpolation may be the favoured linear interpolation and nonlinear interpolation, but these two interpolations could not solve all the interpolant problems. In this paper, several general frames are established by introducing multiple parameters and they are extensions and improvements of those for the general frames studied by Tan and Fang. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the results in this paper.

Grochenig and Balan, Casazza, Heil, and Landau introduced the concepts of localization. The concepts were used to Gabor frames, wavelet frames and sampling theorem in recent years. Here they are applied to the frame of exponential windows with the conclusion that the frame of exponential windows is a Banach frame for a kind of Banach spaces, and the conclusion is also obtained about the relationship between frame bounds, frame density, measure and density of indexing set.     

A CLASS OF MULTIWAVELETS AND PROJECTED FRAMES FROM TWO-DIRECTION WAVELETS

This article aims at studying two-direction refinable functions and two-direction wavelets in the setting Rs, s 1. We give a sufficient condition for a two-direction refinable function belonging to L2(Rs). Then, two theorems are given for constructing biorthogonal(orthogonal) two-direction refinable functions in L2(Rs) and their biorthogonal(orthogonal) two-direction wavelets, respectively. From the constructed biorthogonal(orthogonal)two-direction wavelets, symmetric biorthogonal(orthogonal) multiwaveles in L2(Rs) can be obtained easily. Applying the projection method to biorthogonal(orthogonal) two-direction wavelets in L2(Rs), we can get dual(tight) two-direction wavelet frames in L2(Rm), where m ≤ s. From the projected dual(tight) two-direction wavelet frames in L2(Rm), symmetric dual(tight) frames in L2(Rm) can be obtained easily. In the end, an example is given to illustrate theoretical results.     

Chern-Simons invariant and conformal embedding of a 3-manifold

This note studies the Chern-Simons invariant of a closed oriented Riemannian 3-manifold M. The first achievement is to establish the formula CS（e） - CS（e） = degA, where e and e are two （global） frames of M, and A ： M → SO（3） is the ＂difference＂ map. An interesting phenomenon is that the ＂jumps＂ of the Chern-Simons integrals for various frames of many 3-manifolds are at least two, instead of one. The second purpose is to give an explicit representation of CS（e＋） and CS（e_）, where e＋ and e_ are the ＂left＂ and ＂right＂ quaternionic frames on M3 induced from an immersion M^3 → E^4, respectively. Consequently we find many metrics on S^3 （Berger spheres） so that they can not be conformally embedded in E^4.
