On a class of Köthe sequence spaces with normal structure

In this note, we investigate the generalized modulus of convexity δ ( λ ) and the generalized modulus smoothness ρ ( λ ) . We obtain some estimates of these moduli for X = lp . We obtain inequalities between WCS coefficient of a K¨othe sequence space X and δ ( λ ) X . We show that, for a wide class of K¨othe sequence spaces X, if for some ε∈ (0, 9 10 ] holds δ X (ε) > 1 3 1 √ 3 2 ε, then X has normal structure.     

关于单形的几个不等式及其应用

Using theory of distance geometry and analytic method, the problem on relations about the volumes of some simplices is studied, and some new inequalities for the volumes of simplices are established. As special cases, an inequality for the volume of the pedal simplex of a simplex and other inequalities for simplices are gotten.     

Probability Inequalities for Extended Negatively Dep endent Random Variables and Their Applications

Some probability inequalities are established for extended negatively dependent （END） random variables. The inequalities extend some corresponding ones for negatively associated random variables and negatively orthant dependent random variables. By using these probability inequalities, we further study the complete convergence for END random variables. We also obtain the convergence rate O（n-1/2 ln1/2 n） for the strong law of large numbers, which generalizes and improves the corresponding ones for some known results.     

Some new results for demimartingales

Harremoёs obtained some new maximal inequalities for non-negative martingales. In this paper, we get some new maximal and minimal inequalities for non-negative demimartingales which generalize the results of Harremoёs. We also obtain an inequality for non-negative demimartingales which generalizes the result of Iksanov and Marynych. Finally we obtain a strong law of large numbers, strong growth rate and integrability of supremum for demimartingales which generalize and improve the result of Chow.     

INEQUALITIES FOR MIXED INTERSECTION BODIES

In this paper, some properties of mixed intersection bodies are given, and inequalities from the dual Brunn-Minkowski theory (such as the dual Minkowski inequality, the dual Aleksandrov-Fenchel inequalities and the dual Brunn-Minkowski inequalities) are established for mixed intersection bodies.     

THE MINIMAL OPERATOR AND WEIGHTED INEQUALITIES FOR MARTINGALES

In this article the authors introduce the minimal operator on martingale spaces, discuss some one-weight and two-weight inequalities for the minimal operator and characterize the conditions which make the inequalities hold.     

An application of Furuta inequality and its best possibility

This paper shows the best possibility for outer exponents of some inequalities under some conditions, and a counter example is obtained.     

OSCILLATION CRITERIA FOR SECOND ORDER QUASILINEAR NEUTRAL EQUATION

We present some new oscillation criteria for second order neutral delay differential equations with distributed deviating argument using the Riccati technique and some inequalities. The results obtained improve and extend some known results.     

Maximal Moment Inequality for Partial Sums of Strong Mixing Sequences and Application

Some maximal moment inequalities for partial sums of the strong mixing random variable sequence are established. These inequalities use moment sums as up-boundary and improve the corre- sponding ones obtained by Shao （1996）. To show the application of the inequalities, we apply them to discuss the asymptotic normality of the weight function estimate for the fixed design regression model.     

MONOTONICITY AND INEQUALITIES FOR THE GENERALIZED DISTORTION FUNCTION

The authors prove some monotonicity properties of functions involving the generalized Agard distortion function ηg（a,t）, and obtain some inequalities for ηk（a, t） and relative distortion functions.     

Rearrangement Free Method for Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev Inequalities on $\mathbb{S}^n$

For conformal Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev(HLS) inequalities [22] and reversed conformal HLS inequalities [8] on $\mathbb{S}^n,$ a new proof is given for the attainability of their sharp constants. Classical methods used in [22] and [8] depends on rearrangement inequalities. Here, we use the subcritical approach to construct the extremal sequence and circumvent the blow-up phenomenon by renormalization method. The merit of the method is that it does not rely on rearrangement inequalities.     

Reduction of Opial-type inequalities to norm inequalities

Weighted Opial-type inequalities are shown to be equivalent to weighted norm inequalities for sublinear operators and for nearly positive operators. Examples involving the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function and the nonincreasing rearrangement are presented.

本文对华罗庚~- 王中烈型不等式进行了研究.利用矩阵方法给出了一些已有的华罗庚~- 王中烈型不等式的简单证明和推广,并得到了一些新的华罗庚~- 王中烈型不等式.     

关于正定矩阵的两个不等式

通过Hermite矩阵的谱分解及一个改进的Young不等式,得到了关于正定矩阵的两个不等式,所得结果是对一些经典的矩阵不等式的进一步推广.最后,作为应用,给出了著名的Holder不等式和Minkowsi不等式的一种反向形式.     

关于矩阵迹的一些不等式

对由Bellman不等式推导的两个关于实正定对称矩阵迹的不等式进行了进一步的推广,并得到了一系列的关于矩阵迹的不等式。     

Schur-Convex Functions and Isoperimetric Inequalities

In this paper, we establish some analytic inequalities for Schur-convex functions that are made of solutions of a second order nonlinear differential equation. We apply these analytic inequalities to obtain some geometric inequalities.

     

亚正定矩阵的Bergstrom型不等式

首先证明亚正定矩阵的一个偏序,利用该偏序得到了亚正定矩阵的一些Bergstrom型不等式,推广了近期关于亚正定矩阵行列式不等式的一些结果.     

On several new Hilbert-type inequalities involving means operators

In this paper, we establish several new Hilbert-type inequalities with a homogeneous kernel, involving arithmetic, geometric, and harmonic mean operators in both integral and discrete case. Such inequalities are derived by virtue of some recent results regarding general Hilbert-type inequalities and some well-known classical inequalities. We also prove that the constant factors appearing in established inequalities are the best possible. As an application, we consider some particular settings and compare our results with previously known from the literature.     

复正定矩阵的Minkowski不等式

建立了复正定矩阵的几个行列式不等式,将正定Ｈｅｒｍｉｔｅ阵的Ｍｉｎｋｏｗｓｋｉ不等式、 Ｏｓｔｒｏｗｓｋｉ－Ｔａｕｓｓｋｙ不等式推广到了复正定矩阵上,推广改进了一些文献的结果．     

局部广义高斯序列的若干新结果

给出了局部广义高斯序列部分和的一类绝对矩不等式及大偏差,并利用这些不等式证明了局部广义高斯序列的大数定律,同时建立了局部广义高斯序列的重对数收敛速度.
