Quasi-interpolation has been studied in many papers,e.g.,[5].Here we introduce nonseparable scaling function quasi-interpolation and show that its approximation can provide similar convergence properties as scalar wavelet system.Several equivalent statements of accuracy of nonseparable scaling function are also given.In the numerical experiments,it appears that nonseparable scaling function interpolation has better convergence results than scalar wavelet systems in some cases.  相似文献

多元小波分析是分析和处理高维数字信号的有力工具.不可分多元小波被广泛地应用在模式识别、纹理分析和边缘检测等领域.本文给出了构造一类特殊伸缩矩阵的紧支撑三元不可分小波的算法,利用该算法得到的小波函数继承了来源于尺度函数和符号函数的对称性和消失矩性质,由于符号函数中的参数选取具有很大的自由度,因此可以根据不同的实际情况来动态地确定符号函数,从而为这类小波在信号处理方面的应用提供了便利.最后给出了相应的数值算例.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and investigate multichannel wavelets, which are wavelets for vector fields, based on the concept of full rank subdivision operators. We prove that, like in the scalar and multiwavelet case, the existence of a scaling function with orthogonal integer translates guarantees the existence of a wavelet function, also with orthonormal integer translates. In this context, however, scaling functions as well as wavelets turn out to be matrix-valued functions.  相似文献

In order to overcome classical wavelets’ shortcoming in image processing problems, people developed many producing systems, which built up wavelet family. In this paper, the notion of AB-multiresolution analysis is generalized, and the corresponding theory is developed. For an AB-multiresolution analysis associated with any expanding matrices, we deduce that there exists a singe scaling function in its reducing subspace. Under some conditions, wavelets with composite dilations can be gotten by AB-multiresolution analysis, which permits the existence of fast implementation algorithm. Then, we provide an approach to design the wavelets with composite dilations by classic wavelets. Our way consists of separable and partly nonseparable cases. In each section, we construct all kinds of examples with nice properties to prove our theory.  相似文献

We investigate expansions of periodic functions with respect to wavelet bases. Direct and inverse theorems for wavelet approximation in C and Lp norms are proved. For the functions possessing local regularity we study the rate of pointwise convergence of wavelet Fourier series. We also define and investigate the “discreet wavelet Fourier transform” (DWFT) for periodic wavelets generated by a compactly supported scaling function. The DWFT has one important advantage for numerical problems compared with the corresponding wavelet Fourier coefficients: while fast computational algorithms for wavelet Fourier coefficients are recursive, DWFTs can be computed by explicit formulas without any recursion and the computation is fast enough.  相似文献

We consider a scalar wave equation with nonseparable spatial scales. If the solution of the wave equation smoothly depends on some global fields, then we can utilize the global fields to construct multiscale finite element basis functions. We present two finite element approaches using the global fields: partition of unity method and mixed multiscale finite element method. We derive a priori error estimates for the two approaches and theoretically investigate the relation between the smoothness of the global fields and convergence rates of the approximations for the wave equation. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Let I be the 2 × 2 identity matrix, and M a 2 × 2 dilation matrix with M2 = 2I. First, we present the correlation of the scaling functions with dilation matrix M and 2I. Then by relating the properties of scaling functions with dilation matrix 2I to the properties of scaling functions with dilation matrix M, we give a parameterization of a class of bivariate nonseparable orthogonal symmetric compactly supported scaling functions with dilation matrix M. We first show that by combining monodimensional filter banks one can obtain nonseparable filter banks. We then give necessary conditions for these filter banks to generate orthonormal and regular wavelets. When a sampling theorem holds in wavelet subspaces, sampling expansions can be a good approximation to projection expansions. Even when the sampling theorem does not hold, the scaling function series with the usual coefficients replaced by sampled function values may also be a good approximation to the projection. In this paper, we introduce biorthogonal multiple vector-valued wavelets which are wavelets for vector fields. We proved that, like in the scalar and multiwavelet case, the existence of a pair of biorthogonal multiple vector-valued scaling functions guarantees the existence of a pair of biorthogonal multiple vector-valued wavelet functions. It is well-known that only a single condition (called the admissibility condition) is sufficient for L 2-convergence of multiple continuous wavelet transforms (MCWT). However known results suggest that to guarantee the pointwise convergence of MCWT for L p -functions wavelets should vanish quite rapidly at infinity. In this article, we consider the class of nonseparable multiple wavelets with square-symmetric Fourier transforms. For these wavelets ψ we prove that the admissibility condition and the condition ψ∈L 1(R n ) are sufficient for the convergence of corresponding MCWT almost everywhere.  相似文献
