文[6]、[7]分别研究了两个自变量确定椭圆方程第一和第三边值问题系数的反问题,文[8]考虑非线性的超定边值条件,证明反问题按最大模和L_2模下均是适定的.文[1]研究确定线性椭圆方程系数的反问题,但对线性方程采用迭代法证明反问题解的存在性时,证明不够完善.本文将采用Banach空间中的Schauder不动点原理来证明此问题. A ring R is said to be right McCoy if the equation f(x)g(x)=0,where f(x)and g(x)are nonzero polynomials of R[x],implies that there exists nonzero s∈R such that f(x)s=0.It is proven that no proper(triangular)matrix ring is one-sided McCoy.It is shown that for many polynomial extensions,a ring R is right McCoy if and only if the polynomial extension over R is right McCoy.  相似文献

We present a simple and fast explicit hybrid numerical scheme for the motion by mean curvature on curved surfaces in three-dimensional (3D) space. We numerically solve the Allen-Cahn (AC) and conservative Allen-Cahn (CAC) equations on a triangular surface mesh. We use the operator splitting method and an explicit hybrid numerical method. For the AC equation, we solve the diffusion term using a discrete Laplace-Beltrami operator on the triangular surface mesh and solve the reaction term using the closed-form solution, which is obtained using the separation of variables. Next, for the CAC equation, we additionally solve the time-space dependent Lagrange multiplier using an explicit scheme. Our numerical scheme is computationally fast and efficient because we use an explicit hybrid numerical scheme. We perform various numerical experiments to demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

A square chiliagonal number is a number which is simultaneously a chiliagonal number and a perfect square (just as the well-known square triangular number is both triangular and square). In this work, we determine which of the chiliagonal numbers are perfect squares and provide the indices of the corresponding chiliagonal numbers and square numbers. The study revealed that the determination of square chiliagonal numbers naturally leads to a generalized Pell equation x2 ? Dy2 = N with D = 1996 and N = 9962, and has six fundamental solutions out of which only three yielded integer values for use as indices of chiliagonal numbers. The crossing/independent recurrence relations satisfied by each class of indices of the corresponding chiliagonal numbers and square numbers are obtained. Finally, the generating functions serve as a clothesline to hang up the indices of the corresponding chiliagonal numbers and square numbers for easy display and this was used to obtain the first few sequence of square chiliagonal numbers.  相似文献

The balancing numbers originally introduced by Behera and Panda [2] as solutions of a Diophantine equation on triangular numbers possess many interesting properties. Many of these properties are comparable to certain properties of Fibonacci numbers, while some others are more interesting. Wall [14] studied the periodicity of Fibonacci numbers modulo arbitrary natural numbers. The periodicity of balancing numbers modulo primes and modulo terms of certain sequences exhibits beautiful results, again, some of them are identical with corresponding results of Fibonacci numbers, while some others are more fascinating. An important observation concerning the periodicity of balancing numbers is that, the period of this sequence coincides with the modulus of congruence if the modulus is any power of 2. There are three known primes for which the period of the sequence of balancing numbers modulo each prime is equal to the period modulo its square, while for the Fibonacci sequence, till date no such prime is available.  相似文献

We characterize finite-dimensional Lie algebras over the real numbers for which the classical Yang-Baxter equation has a non-trivial skew-symmetric solution (resp. a non-trivial solution with invariant symmetric part). We use an analytical approach to find the kth power of the Catalan matrix. Precisely, it is proven that the power of the Catalan matrix is a lower triangular Toeplitz matrix which contains the well-known ballot numbers. A result from [H. S. Wilf, Generatingfunctionology, Academic Press, New York, 1990, Free download available from http://www.math.upenn.edu/~wilf/Downld.html.], related to the generating function for Catalan numbers, is extended to the negative integers. Three interesting representations for Catalan numbers by means of the binomial coefficients and the hypergeometric functions are obtained using relations between Catalan matrix powers.  相似文献

A nonlinear Schrödinger equation that contains the time-derivative of the probability density is investigated, which is motivated by the attempt to include the recoil effect of radiation. This equation has the same stationary solutions as its linear counterpart, and these solutions are the eigen-states of the corresponding linear Hamiltonian. The equation leads to the usual continuity equation and thus maintains the normalization of the wave function. For the non-stationary solutions, numerical calculations are carried out for the one-dimensional infinite square-well potential (1D ISWP) and for several time-dependent potentials that tend to the former as time increases. Results show that for various initial states, the wave function always evolves into some eigen-state of the corresponding linear Hamiltonian of the 1D ISWP. For a small time-dependent perturbation potential, solutions present the process similar to the spontaneous transition between stationary states. For a periodical potential with an appropriate frequency, solutions present the process similar to the stimulated transition. This nonlinear Schrödinger equation thus presents the state evolution similar to the wave-function reduction.  相似文献
