The motion information of a moving target can be recorded in a single image by a push-broom satellite.A push-broom satellite image is composed of many image lines sensed at different time instants.A method to estimate the velocity of a flying airplane from a single image based on the imagery model of the linear push-broom sensor is proposed.Some key points on the high-resolution image of the plane are chosen to determine the velocity(speed and direction).The performance of the method is tested and verified by experiments using a WorldView-1 image.  相似文献

PET设备中探测器的研发, 一直是很活跃且具有高创新性的领域。 提高现有基于闪烁晶体探测器的性能, 研究适用于多模式成像设备(PET/CT和PET/MRI)的新型探测器, 满足TOF和DOI技术的需求并促进其发展应用, 构成PET探测器的几个主要研究方向。 介绍了PET探测器在闪烁晶体、 光电探测器和半导体探测器等方面的最新进展, 指出未来最有潜力的探测器设计方案。 The research on PET detector is a very active and highly innovative field. The main research interests of PET detector include improving performances of scintillation crystal detectors, investigating new detectors being suitable for multimodality imaging (e.g., PET/CT and PET/MRI), meeting needs of TOF and DOI technologies in order to promote their development and application. In this paper, new developments in PET detector technology about scintillation crystal, photodetector and semiconductor detector are introduced and the most potential detector design scheme in the future is brought forward.  相似文献

In order to study the possibility of improving the timing performance of the time of flight (TOF) systems, which are made of plastic scintillator counters, and read out by photomultiplier tubes (PMT) with mesh dynodes and conventional electronics, we have conducted a study using faster PMTs and ultra fast waveform digitizers to read out the plastic scintillators. Different waveform analysis methods are used to calculate the time resolution of such a system. Results are compared with the conventional discriminating method based on a threshold and pulse height. Our tests and analysis show that significant timing performance improvements can be achieved by using this new system.  相似文献

Timing and amplitude properties of a prototype scintillator TOF counter at an external target facility are studied with a cosmic rays test. The dependence of signal pulse height and time resolution on the coordinate along the scintillator TOF counter is investigated with two different discriminators. A time resolution of 165 ps can be achieved at the center of the counter with a constant fraction discriminator. Time resolution better than 150 ps is obtained at the center with a leading edge discriminator after time wall( correction is applied for off-line analysis.  相似文献

Using experimental data, Monte Carlo tuning is implemented for performance parameters associated with the scintillation counters and readout electronics of the BESⅢ time-of-flight(TOF) system, as part of the full simulation model. The implementation of the tuning is described for simulations designed to reproduce the performance of a number of TOF system parameters, including pulse height, hit efficiency, time resolution, dead channels and background. A code has been developed to simulate the neutralization and grazing process of slow highly charged ion Xe^q+ on Al(111) surface under the classical-over-the-barrier model. The image energy gain of Xeq+ ions are calculated and compared with experiment data. The simulation results of image energy gain are in good agreement with the experiment data. Meanwhile, in the present work, the reflection coefficient of incident Xe^q+ on Al(111) surface as a function of the incidence angle, energy and charge state is also studied.  相似文献

A new kind (two end readout) of Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chamber with long readout-strip (LMRPC) is developed to be used at the large-area Muon Telescope Detector (MTD) at mid-rapidity at RHIC/STAR experiment for Time-of-Flight (TOF) measurement. The LMRPC has an active area of 87 cm× 17 cm, 10 gas gaps of 250 μm arranged in 2 stacks, with readout strips of 2.5 cm wide and 90 cm long. The considerations in LMRPC design related to its performance are discussed in this paper. The cosmic ray test results of a prototype LMRPC show a detection efficiency 〉95% and the time resolution -70 ps.  相似文献

The stochastic resonance phenomenon in a bistable system subject to Markov dichotomous noise (DN) is investigated. Based on the adiabatic elimination and the two-state theories, the explicit expressions for the signal-tonoise ratio (SNR) and the spectral power amplification (SPA) have been obtained. It is shown that two peaks can occur on the curve of SNR versus the intensity of the DN. Moreover, the SNR is a non-monotonic function of the correlation time of the DN. The SPA varies non-monotonously with the strength of the DN. The dependence of the SNR on the frequency and the amplitude of the external periodic signal are discussed. The effect of the external frequency and the correlation time of the DN on the SPA are analyzed.  相似文献

The HERMES time-of-flight (TOF) system is used for proton identification, but must be carefully calibrated for systematic biases in the equipment. This paper presents an artificial neural network (ANN) trained to recognize protons from ∧^0 decay using only raw event data such as time delay, momentum, and trajectory. To avoid the systematic errors associated with Monte Carlo models, we collect a sample of raw experimental data from the year 2000. We presume that when for a positive hadron (assigned one proton mass) and a negative hadron (assigned one π^- mass) the reconstructed invariant mass lies within the ∧^0 resonance, the positive hadron is more likely to be a proton. Such events are assigned an output value of one during the training process; all others were assigned the output value zero.
The trained ANN is capable of identifying protons in independent experimental data, with an efficiency equivalent to the traditional TOF calibration. By modifying the threshold for proton identification, a researcher can trade off between selection efficiency and background rejection power. This simple and convenient method is applicable to similar detection problems in other experiments.  相似文献

A prototype of time-of-flight positron emission computed tomography(TOF-PET)has been developed for acquiring the coincident detection of 511 keV γ-rays produced from positron annihilation.It consists of two 80.5 mm×80.5 mm LYSO scintillator arrays(composed of 35 ×35 pixel finger crystals)with the position sensitive photomultiplier tubes R2487 as the readout.Each array is composed of 2 mm ×2 mm× 15 mm finger crystals and the average pixel pitch is 2.30 mm.The measured results indicate that the TOF information has the potential to significantly enhance the image quality by improving the noise variance in the image reconstruction.The best spatial resolution(FWHM)of the prototype for the pairs of 511 keV γ-rays is 1.98 mm and 2.16 mm in the x and y directions,respectively,which are smaller than the average pixel pitch of 2.30 mm.  相似文献

本研究采用双层150 mm×150 mm闪烁条阵列定位宇宙线的入射和出射位置. 阵列信号光使用波移光纤吸收传输,在ICCD相机前插入前置像增强器,使信号光延迟大于200 ns, 使ICCD可以由外部高速触发信号控制,有效记录随机触发事例.该宇宙线定位系统可以同时多点密集测量 通用探测器测试平台的时间分辨和闪烁光的渡越时间.该新方法与传统时间分辨测量方法相比提高了30倍以上 的效率.实验结果显示:时间探测器的时间分辨好于200 ps,满足通用探测器测试平台的设计要求.  相似文献

正电子发射断层成像PET (Positron Emission Tomography)是一套庞大、复杂而又极其精密的大型医疗设备,由成千上万个探测单元及相应的信号采集通道组成,其复杂的采集逻辑直接导致系统前期研发迭代次数多、硬件调试困难,且时间与资金成本投入高。本文通过研究PET系统整体结构及前端电子采集模块的功能,设计出基于Gate仿真软件(Geant4 application for tomographic emission)和MATLAB (matrixlaboratory,Mathworks Inc.)数据处理包的PET电子学仿真架构,利用数字化单事件重建DiSER (digitalsingle-event-reconstruction)模型将Gate仿真得到的湮灭事件的能量、时间信息进行综合,转换为光子脉冲信号并由模数转换器ADC (analog-to-digital converter)进行量化,量化数据输入到现场可编程门阵列FPGA (field programmable gate array)和MATLAB协仿真模块中,验证FPGA硬件采集算法的可行性。待各模块的湮灭事件采集完毕,将多模块数据进一步综合输入到FPGA符合处理模块中,完成PET系统符合单元的功能验证。最后,将设计的算法在基于飞行时间技术的TOF (time-of flight)-PET样机上进行了测试,验证了设计的有效性和正确性。该系统仿真平台可应用于PET系统整个研发周期,其搭建思路也可灵活、有效地拓展到其他领域的系统建模与验证之中。  相似文献

研制的由28个多气隙电阻板室(MRPC)模块构成飞行时间探测系统, 从2003年以来在RHIC-STAR实验上成功运行并获得了大量的实验数据. 为了深入了解MRPC实际运行中的性能,采用质心能量200GeV的Au-Au对撞的实验数据, 对MRPC-TOF的刻度方法进行了深入研究, 主要包括: (1) 对现有的刻度方法做了进一步的改进; (2) 对粒子入射角度等因素进行了修正; (3) STAR径迹重建的位置分辨率对MRPC时间分辨率影响. 用改进后的刻度和修正方法, 计算得到MRPC的本征时间分辨率为大约60ps, 与束流实验结果相近.  相似文献

The mechanisms of laser ablation of CdS targets at different laser wavelengths have been investigated. (CdS)n+ cluster formation is only observed upon 532 nm ablation. The time and energy distributions of neutral S, S2, Cd and CdS show significant dependence on laser wavelength. Bimodal distributions are observed at 266 and 308 nm. For the former, the average kinetic energy increases significantly with mass, taking values in the range of 0.3-1.7 eV. At 308 nm the slow component of the time distribution disappears at distances above the target larger than 1 cm. At this wavelength, the observed time distribution appears to reflect mainly the dynamics of the expansion. At 532 nm the time distribution is monomodal and the average kinetic energies are below 0.2 eV. Clear indications of the participation of thermal (at 532 nm) and non-thermal mechanisms (at 266 nm) have been found. It is tentatively concluded that the cluster formation observed upon ablation at 532 nm can be related to the thermal ablation mechanisms in which the low kinetic energy of the species in the plume and their similar velocities favor the aggregation processes.  相似文献

在实时图像处理系统中,如何在有限的时间内完成大量信息数据的处理,满足系统的实时性要求一直是困扰着人们的一个难题。遵从系统模块化设计思想,提出了以TI公司的DSP(TMS320C6201)为核心器件的图像处理系统的设计方案,完成了相应的硬件电路设计,将图像实时处理要求较高的图像跟踪算法移植于所设计的图像处理系统中。试验结果表明,该实时图像处理系统功能和性能基本达到了预期要求,有一定的实用性。  相似文献

A new fanning topology is proposed to precisely fan out fast control signals in the Beijing Spectrometer(BESIII) end-cap time-of-flight(ETOF) electronics. However, uncertainty in transfer latency is introduced by the new fanning channel, which will degrade the precision of fast control. In this paper, latency uncertainty elimination for the BESIII ETOF upgrade is introduced. The latency uncertainty is determined by a Time-Digital-Converter(TDC) embedded in a Field-Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) and is eliminated by re-capturing at synchronous and determinate time. Compared with the existing method of Barrel-cap TOF(BTOF), it has advantages of flexible structure, easy calibration and good adaptability. Field tests on the BESIII ETOF system show that this method effectively eliminates transfer latency uncertainty.  相似文献
