本文提出了一种基于光纤叠栅的全光纤声光可调谐滤波器, 与普通光纤布拉格光栅型全光纤声光可调谐滤波器相比, 该滤波器能够对光纤叠栅的两个中心波长进行同步调制. 理论分析了声波频率和声致应变幅度对基于光纤叠栅的全光纤声光可调谐滤波器的传输光谱的影响, 结果表明, 各阶次反射峰分别以两个主反射峰为中心呈对称关系, 且主反射峰与其所调制出的次反射峰之间的波长间隔与声波频率成正比, 而两个主反射峰所调制出的同阶次反射峰之间的波长间隔与声波频率无关; 声致应变幅度主要影响主反射峰及次反射峰的反射率的变化. 实验中, 分别测试声波频率为390 kHz和710 kHz的基于光纤叠栅的全光纤声光可调谐滤波器的传输光谱, 实验结果的变化趋势与仿真分析结果相一致.  相似文献

在分析多波长啁啾叠栅特征的基础上,提出了多波长啁啾叠栅的矩阵分析模型,采用矩阵分析模型对4波长和8波长啁啾叠栅的反射谱特性进行了理论分析,数值分析结果与实验结果非常一致.还首次数值模拟了波长间隔0.8 nm的16波长啁啾叠栅.此方法对多波长啁啾叠栅的设计和制作具有参考价值.  相似文献

We have measured the intensity noise from symmetric low-Q cavity laser diodes (LD's) operated far above threshold in a constant-current mode. The single-sided output noise exhibits significant dependence on the mirror reflectivities of the laser cavity, in good agreement with the theoretical predictions based on a quantum-mechanical traveling-wave analysis. In an antireflection-coated LD with a residual mirror reflectivity of 5%, intensity noise as large as 9 dB above the shot-noise level was observed at a pumping rate of 10 times the threshold. This is caused by amplification of the vacuum-field fluctuations coupled by the low-reflectivity mirrors into the laser cavity.  相似文献

利用相位掩模技术在光敏光纤中制作出了少模光纤布喇格光栅,1.06μm波长附近有2~3个特征峰,峰值约4~5 dB.对这种光纤光栅的特性进行了分析,结果表明理论与实验结果符合得较好,并对光纤光栅的温度特性进行了实验研究和理论分析,实验结果测得光纤光栅的温度敏感度为9~10 pm/℃.  相似文献

We report a 1 018-nm ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber laser pumped by 970-nm diode. A pair of fiber Bragg gratings with reflectivities of 99.9% and 9% at a center wavelength of 1 018.9 nm are employed as cavity mirrors. The ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber is a 2.6-m-long Liekki fiber. Laser output power of 7.5 W at 1 018 nm is obtained under the pump power of 59.2 W. The overall slope efficiency of the fiber laser is about 16%. This low slope efficiency is mainly due to the incomplete absorption of the pump power.  相似文献

A quasi-distributed optical fiber sensing network with large multiplexing capacity, which is based on identical weak fiber Bragg gratings, is proposed, theoretically analyzed and experimentally studied. The key technique is the demodulation technology named “Optical wavelength time-domain reflection (OWTDR),” which utilizes the optical power variation of reflected sensing signal in both time domain and wavelength domain. The influence of reflectivity of fiber grating, interval between adjacent gratings and transmission loss of delay fiber on the multiplexing capacity of sensing system are discussed. Analyzed results demonstrate that this sensing scheme can effectively increase the multiplexing capacity of sensing system up to 1000, implement multi-point synchronous measurement and reduce the cost of signal demodulation. 9 Identical weak fiber Bragg gratings with the same Bragg wavelength of 1536.651 nm, reflectivity of 6%, bandwidth of 0.07 nm are written in series to investigate the performance of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

We proposed and experimentally demonstrated two power-equalized erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) modules using fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) with various reflectivities for individual channels. The transmission type power-equalized EDFA module is low-cost for its simple design, while the reflection type power-equalized EDFA module can suppress most of the amplified spontaneous emission noise. Both consist of a bidirectional EDFA, a set of FBG chains with suitable reflectivities, and an optical isolator/optical circulator. They can find potential applications in wavelength division multiplexing lightwave transmission systems.  相似文献

本征反射率是X射线衍射摇摆曲线计算机模拟的基础。用X射线动力学理论研究了组分不均匀对HgCdTe材料X射线反射率的影响。研究结果表明,横向组分不均匀性直接影响摇摆曲线的峰形,峰值反射率和半峰全宽随组分不均匀的增大而分别减小和增大,且与组分不均匀性的均方差近似成指数关系,但其积分反射率却基本保持不变;采用多层模型对具有线性组分梯度的HgCdTe半导体材料反射率的计算结果则表明,纵向组分梯度除导致反射率峰值强度下降外,还会引起摇摆曲线产生单边干涉效应,摇摆曲线的半峰全宽和干涉峰间距随组分梯度的增加而增大,而干涉峰间距与干涉周期之间的关系则随组分梯度的增加其偏离线性的程度增大。  相似文献

An intracavity coherent coupling Michelson erbium-doped fibre (EDF) laser (MCEDFL) is proposed and demonstrated. By using this laser system, we find a means to obtain a maximum power output at the same pumping power level. From the experiment based on fibre Bragg gratings (FBGs) with different reflectivities from 6{\%} to 100{\%}, we find that the reflectivity of the FBG plays a vital role in improving the performance of the MCEDFL. At the same time, the MCEDFL with a polarizer can be coherently combined effectively. This type of system, in principle, is compatible with other more powerful pumping methods, such as cladding pumping, and brings some novel perspectives to the realization of high power lasers.  相似文献

A novel all fiber cavity Yb3+-doped double-clad fiber laser (DCFL) based on two double-clad fiber (DCF)Bragg grating is presented. The fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) as the input and output mirrors have been formed in Yb3+-doped DCF with the phase-mask method, and their reflectivities are 99% and 22%,respectively. When the input pump power is 417 mW, the maximum output power is 144 mW with linewidth <0.1 nm at the wavelength of 1.057μm, over 40-dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and 50.8% slope efficiency.  相似文献

对现有在同~段光纤上多次写入光栅制成光栅梳状滤波器的方法进行了改进,利用增加光栅长度,精确控制不同光栅的曝光时间,并结合调整光栅实际写入长度的方法,制成了不均衡度小于5%、最低峰值反射率高于95%的光纤光栅梳状滤波器;同时提出了一种新颖的可选波长光纤激光器结构。采用由上述方法制作出的反射率均衡的光纤光栅梳状滤波器和可调光滤波器结合在一起进行波长选择,实现了波长的快速准确选择,同时各个波长激光的输出特性稳定,功率均衡性好,边模抑制比大于50dB。  相似文献

A novel wavelength selectable fiber ring laser was proposed. Superimposed fiber Bragg gratings with uniform reflectivity were made to serve as comb-like filter. Optical tunable filter combined with the comb filter realized fast and accurately wavelength selectivity. The SMSR at each wavelength is more than 50dB.  相似文献

In soliton transmission, third-order dispersion of the transmission fibers tends to cause unacceptable variation in the filter strength parameter eta over the wide wavelength bands required for massive wavelength division multiplexing. We show how to vary the mirror reflectivities of etalon filters with wavelength, such that eta , in soliton units, nevertheless remains at the optimal value across the entire transmission band, and we show how to achieve the required R(lambda) accurately and reproducibly by making the etalons from gratings written in fiber.  相似文献
