<正>This paper presents alternating direction finite volume element methods for three-dimensional parabolic partial differential equations and gives four computational schemes,one is analogous to Douglas finite difference scheme with second-order splitting error,the other two schemes have third-order splitting error,and the last one is an extended LOD scheme.The L~2 norm and H~1 semi-norm error estimates are obtained for the first scheme and second one,respectively.Finally,two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the methods.  相似文献

The mathematical model for semiconductor devices in three space dimensions are numerically discretized. The system consists of three quasi-linear partial differential equations about three physical variables: the electrostatic potential, the electron concentration and the hole concentration. We use standard mixed finite element method to approximate the elliptic electrostatic potential equation. For the two convection-dominated concentration equations, a characteristics-mixed finite element method is presented. The scheme is locally conservative. The optimal $L^2$-norm error estimates are derived by the aid of a post-processing step. Finally, numerical experiments are presented to validate the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

H1‐Galerkin mixed finite element method combined with expanded mixed element method is discussed for nonlinear pseudo‐parabolic integro‐differential equations. We conduct theoretical analysis to study the existence and uniqueness of numerical solutions to the discrete scheme. A priori error estimates are derived for the unknown function, gradient function, and flux. 本文介绍由变分优化模型导出的偏微分方程(PDEs)模型与几何曲率流驱动扩散在图像恢复方面的应用,以及多种非线性异质扩散模型,讨论了PDEs模型在图像分析与处理方面的优点,理论与实验结果表明,要恢复得到商质量的图像,PDEs模型的利用是极为必要的.文中还介绍了求解PDEs模型的数值方案.其中,曲率计算是一个关键问题,其结果直接参与自适应扩散的控制.详细总结了基于有限差分和水平集方法,求解藕合非线性异质扩散模型方程的数值方案,追求高质量图像、高精度计算方法、降低计算复杂性是本文处理方法不断进步的发展动力。  相似文献

Finite volume method and characteristics finite element method are two important methods for solving the partial differential equations. These two methods are combined in this paper to establish a fully discrete characteristics finite volume method for fully nonlinear convection‐dominated diffusion problems. Two Crouzeix-Raviart type nonconforming elements are used in a finite element scheme as well in a mixed finite element scheme for time-dependent Maxwell’s equations in three dimensions. In this paper, the Crank-Nicolson/Newton scheme for solving numerically secondorder nonlinear parabolic problem is proposed. The standard Galerkin finite element method based on P2 conforming elements is used to the spatial discretization of the problem and the Crank-Nicolson/Newton scheme is applied to the time discretization of the resulted finite element equations. Moreover, assuming the appropriate regularity of the exact solution and the finite element solution, we obtain optimal error estimates of the fully discrete CrankNicolson/Newton scheme of nonlinear parabolic problem. Finally, numerical experiments are presented to show the efficient performance of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

Alternating direction finite element (ADFE) scheme for d-dimensional nonlin-ear system of parabolic integro-differential equations is studied. By using a local approxi-mation based on patches of finite elements to treat the capacity term qi(u), decomposition of the coefficient matrix is realized; by using alternating direction, the multi-dimensional problem is reduced to a family of single space variable problems, calculation work is sim-plified; by using finite element method, high accuracy for space variant is kept; by using inductive hypothesis reasoning, the difficulty coming from the nonlinearity of the coeffi-cients and boundary conditions is treated; by introducing Ritz-Volterra projection, the difficulty coming from the memory term is solved. We first apply a first order splitting to a semilinear reaction-diffusion equation and then discretize the resulting system by anH 1-Galerkin mixed finite element method in space. This semidiscrete method yields a system of differential algebraic equations (DAEs) ofindex one. Apriori error estimates for semidiscrete scheme are derived for both differential as well as algebraic components. For fully discretization, an implicit Runge-Kutta (IRK) methods is applied to the temporal direction and the error estimates are discussed for both components. A stabilized finite element method for the time-dependent Stokes equations based on Crank–Nicolson scheme is considered in this paper. The method combines the Crank–Nicolson scheme with a stabilized finite element method which uses the lowest equal-order element pair, i.e., the stabilized finite element method is applied for the spatial approximation and the time discretization is based on the Crank–Nicolson scheme. Moreover, we present optimal error estimates and prove that the scheme is unconditionally stable and convergent. Finally, numerical tests confirm the theoretical results of the presented method.  相似文献

利用常微分方程的连续有限元法,对非线性Hamilton系统证明了连续一次、二次有限元法分别是2阶和3阶的拟辛格式,且保持能量守恒;连续有限元法是辛算法对线性Hamilton系统,且保持能量守恒.在数值计算上探讨了辛性质和能量守恒性,与已有的辛算法进行对比,结果与理论相吻合.  相似文献
