测试了经化学蚀刻、紫外激光预处理及其共同处理后的熔石英355 nm激光损伤阈值;研究了处理前后其损伤斑面积随激光辐照脉冲数的增长情况。结果表明,处理后熔石英355 nm激光损伤阈值得到了提高,且损伤斑面积增长变慢。利用CO2激光对熔石英表面损伤点进行了修复处理,修复后的损伤点R-on-1抗损伤阈值和基底阈值相当,损伤增长得到有效抑制。  相似文献

A new general formulation that is applicable to the damaged, linear elastic structures ‘unified framework’ is used to obtain analytical expressions for natural frequencies and mode shapes. The term mode shapes is used to mean the displacement modes, the section rotation modes, the sectional bending strain modes and sectional shear strain modes. The formulation is applicable to damaged elastic self-adjoint systems. The formulation has two unique aspects: First, the theory is mathematically rigorous since no assumptions are made regarding the physical behavior at a damage location, therefore there is no need to substitute the damage with a hypothetical elastic element such as a spring. Since the beam is not divided at the damage location, rather than an 8 by 8, only a 4 by 4 matrix is solved to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes. Second, the inertia effects due to damage which have till now been neglected by researchers are accounted for. The formulation uses a geometric damage model, perturbation of mode shapes and natural frequencies, and a modal superposition technique to obtain and solve the governing differential equation. Timoshenko beam theory is then taken as an example, and its results are compared with results using Euler–Bernoulli beam theory and finite element models. The range of applicability of the two theories is ascertained for damage characteristics such as depth and extent of damage and beam characteristics such as slenderness ratio and Poisson?s ratio. The paper considers rectangular notch like non-propagating damage as an example of the damage.  相似文献

为了研究热致应力对光学元件损伤特性的影响,通过实验测试退火处理消除热应力和未消热应力石英基片的激光损伤特性,研究了热致应力对石英元件初始损伤阈值、损伤增长阈值以及损伤增长规律的影响.结果表明,热致应力对熔石英光学元件的初始损伤阈值有影响,初始损伤阈值随着热致应力增大而降低;热致应力会加剧激光引发的损伤增长,相同的激光通量下,表面应力越大的区域拥有越高的损伤增长因子,但损伤增长仍遵从指数增长规律.热致应力对损伤增长阈值没有明显的影响.本文的研究将为CO2激光预处理工艺能否被应用于大口径光学元件提供一个必要的技术参考.  相似文献

Laser-induced damage in optical components has long been acknowledged as a localized phenomenon linked to the presence of defects. Destructive investigations combined to optical characterizations have led to the conclusion that in high quality components the damage initiators are typically a few nanometers in size and have low densities. The understanding of damage phenomena requires the development of non destructive evaluation techniques with both high spatial resolution and sensitivity to detect these defects. In this context, a High Resolution Photothermal Deflection microscope (HRPD) has been developed and coupled with a damage facility at the same wavelength 1.064 μm. The behavior under irradiation of model defects such as gold inclusions (3 to 250 nm) has been studied. We show how HRPD gives determining information about damage mechanisms.  相似文献

We present investigations of the surface damage threshold for transparent materials, e.g. a-SiO2, CaF2 and LiF, after single- and multiple-laser-pulse irradiation at 800 nm in the picosecond and sub-picosecond duration range. Our study shows clearly that the surface damage threshold drops dramatically during multiple-laser-shot irradiation, due to material-dependent incubation effects. This has important consequences for applications such as laser machining and for the lifetime of optical components. Different processes that can reduce the surface damage threshold with increasing laser shots are evaluated, such as sub-surface damage and defect formation. The mechanism of laser-induced defect formation, e.g. color centers, is believed to be mainly responsible for the observed reduction in the threshold for surface damage with increasing laser-shot numbers.  相似文献

提出了利用近红外散射光谱对生物组织热毁损程度进行实时鉴别的一种新方法。实验首先分别用功率3.5,5,6.5和8 W的808nm脉冲激光对新鲜离体猪肝进行热毁损,在距离毁损中心10mm处实时采集近红外散射光谱和温度,以最小二乘法拟合得到波长830~900nm处的光谱斜率(S830~900),将其不同上升幅度为条件结束加热。其次,对光谱采集点附近的组织作病理切片,根据组织学特征进行评分,采用3级评分制(3分为完全毁损,2分为部分毁损,1分为无效毁损)评估毁损程度。最后,分析加热期S830~900最大上升幅度、降温后S830~900最终稳定值与病理分析的毁损程度之间的关联。结果表明,一般情况下,若加热期S830~900上升至初值的4倍以上、降温后最终稳定于3.5倍以上,对应组织为完全毁损;若S830~900加热期上升2~5倍,降温后最终稳定于1~1.5倍,对应组织为无效毁损;其余为部分毁损。根据分析结果,首次建立了光谱因子与热毁损程度的关联,利用加热期S830~900的最大上升幅度与降温后的最终稳定值来鉴别组织毁损程度,可以很好的降低实验对象个体差异性对判断结果的影响,具有很好的鉴别效果,其准确率达到90%以上,实现了组织热毁损程度实时、准确的鉴别,为组织热毁损实时监控提供了一种新思路。  相似文献

In this paper, bovine serum albumin (BSA) was selected as a target molecule, and the sonodynamic damage to proteins in the presence of berberine (BER) and its mechanism were studied by means of absorption and fluorescence spectra. The results of hyperchromic effect of absorption spectra, and quenching of intrinsic fluorescence spectra indicated that the ultrasound-induced BSA molecules damage was enhanced by BER. The damage degree of BSA molecules increased with the increase in ultrasonic irradiation time and BER concentration. The results of synchronous fluorescence and three-dimensional fluorescence spectra confirmed that the synergistic effects of ultrasound and BER induced the damage of BSA molecules. The results of oxidation-extraction photometry with several reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavengers indicated that the damage of BSA molecules could be mainly due to the generation of ROS, and 1O2 was the major mediator of the ultrasound-induced BSA molecules damage in the presence of BER.  相似文献

The damage morphology of GaAs1 0 0 single crystal following femtosecond laser (wavelength 806 nm, pulse duration 110 fs, prf 10 Hz) excitation was studied as a function of laser fluence and number of pulses. The threshold value for damage to occur in a GaAs surface in the present experiment was 1.3×1014 W/cm2 for a single pulse. The cooling rate for threshold fluence was calculated as 2.22×1014 °C/s. The damage occurred in the form of surface removal. Ripples and grains were formed in the removed surface. At higher fluences micron depth pits were also formed. The damage morphology was explained with the help of Boson-condensation hypothesis.  相似文献

The damage morphology of germanium surfaces using femtosecond laser pulses of various fluences and number of pulses is reported. The single pulse damage threshold in the present experiment was 9.7±4.0×10−13 W/cm2. The experimental threshold value was compared with theory, considering the damage threshold as the melting threshold. The cooling rate calculated on the basis of present results is 2.4×1015°C/s. Recrystallization was the common feature of the damage morphology. For fluences greater than the single pulse damage-threshold micropits and spherical grains of micron size were formed in the damaged surface. Ablation (surface removal) was also observed at higher fluences (at two or three times of damage threshold value). The damage morphology, induced by multiple pulses, was unaffected for linear and circular polarization.  相似文献

Single- and multiple-shot damage thresholds and plasma-emission thresholds for fused silica and CaF2 are reported for 790 nm photons as a function of laser pulse width (190 fs – 4.5 ps). The results are compared with single-shot plasma-emission measurements [1] and with multiple-shot damage measurements [2]. Both the damage threshold and the plasma-emission threshold are shown to decrease with decreasing pulse width over the entire pulse-width range investigated.  相似文献

<正>It is known that the strength of concrete is seriously affected by damage and cracking.In this paper,six concrete samples under different damage levels are studied.The experimental results show a linear dependence of the resonance frequency shift on strain amplitude at the fundamental frequency,and approximate quadratic dependence of the amplitudes of the second and third harmonics on strain amplitude at the fundamental frequency as well.In addition,the amplitude of the third harmonics is shown to increase with the increase of damage level,which is even higher than that of the second harmonics in samples with higher damage levels.These are three properties of non-classical nonlinear acoustics.The nonlinear parameters increase from 10~6 to 10~8 with damage level,and are more sensitive to the damage level of the concrete than the linear parameters obtained by using traditional acoustics methods.So,this method based on non-classical nonlinear acoustics may provide a better means of non-destructive testing(NDT) of concrete and other porous materials.  相似文献

The relationship between damage spreading and static thermodynamic properties in the Ising model developed by Coniglioet al. is here extended to include time-dependent thermodynamic quantities. We exploit this new result to measure the time-dependent spin correlation function from damage spreading in the Ising model with heat bath and Glauber dynamics. Until now, only static thermodynamic quantities have been correctly determined from damage spreading, and even then, only with heat bath dynamics. We also show that there are significant differences between the kinetics of damage spreading as found in heat bath and Glauber dynamics.  相似文献

Pulsed laser damage thresholds have been measured for proustite (Ag3 As S3) as the wavelengths 0.694, 1.065, 1.32 and 10.6 μm. The damage thresholds have been found to vary with both the wavelength and duration of the irradiating pulse. At 1.065 μm damage thresholds are 0.38 J/cm2 for pulses of duration <50 ns whilst for durations >50 ns a value of 7 MW/cm2 is appropriate. The results suggest that damage is initiated by absorbing inclusions approximately 0.6 μm in diameter embedded within the crystals. These inclusions are heated by an incident pulse to cause catastrophic damage of both the surface and interior of an irradiated sample. A model has been developed to enable a study of the thermal behaviour of inclusions irradiated by laser pulses with Gaussian time-dependence to be made.  相似文献

Abstract

The technique of cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy has been applied to obtain information on the projected range of protons and their damage distribution in gallium arsenide. The crystals were subjected to dosages of 1 × 1015 to 1 × 1017 protons cm?2 and proton energies of 100, 200 and 300 keV. Within this energy range the damage shows a Gaussian distribution about a mean range which correlates closely with LSS values. The experimentally determined damage profiles are found to be essentially independent of proton energy and the temperature of post implantation anneal for a given dosage. The displacement damage as reflected by the damage profiles is found to be linear with proton dose. Finally, it is estimated that defects became visible in unannealed crystals when each atom is, on the average, displaced at least once during irradiation.  相似文献

Laser-induced damage studies have been carried out on monocrystal GaAs at 1.06 μm wavelength as a function of pulse repetition rate in the nanosecond regime. The single shot observed laser damage threshold is 0.9 J/cm2. It has been found that the damage threshold decreases when the sample is irradiated with large number of pulses. However, the above effect is observed only when the repetition rate is higher than 1 Hz. Various laser damage mechanism theories have been discussed to explain the results.  相似文献

Abstract

Atomic depth profiles from Be-implanted Si have been examined as a function of implant fluence and annealing, and the results have been correlated with theoretically calculated implantation induced damage profiles. The Be atomic depth profiles were obtained by secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) techniques from samples implanted at 300 keV to fluences ranging from 2 × 1012 to 1015 cm?2. Subsequent to annealing at 600°C for 30 min, the Be SIMS profiles exhibited anomalous redistribution effects. The Be profiles obtained from the annealed samples had the same general features as the depth distribution of implant energy deposited into damage, based on Brice's1 calculations. The correlation of the SIMS atomic profiles and the theoretical damage profiles indicated that Be “decorates” the implantation induced damage regions while redistributing during the annealing process.  相似文献

影响npn晶体管辐射损伤的因素有很多,如晶体管工艺、剂量率以及辐照偏置等.主要研究了三种发射极面积的国产npn晶体管在高低剂量率下的辐射损伤特性,分析了发射极尺寸对辐射损伤的影响.研究结果表明,国产npn晶体管具有低剂量率损伤增强效应,且发现当小电流注入下晶体管的辐射损伤会表现得愈加显著.比较三种发射极尺寸的晶体管辐照响应发现,发射极周长面积比P/A越大时晶体管归一化过剩基极电流ΔIB/IB0也越大.详细阐述了npn晶体管辐射损伤机制,从发射极尺寸和晶体管工作电压角度对npn晶体管的加固保证方法进行了探索. 关键词: 发射极面积 国产npn晶体管 剂量率 辐射损伤  相似文献
